Why is this so underratedddd im still a highschool student and im really happy when I make models on my free time! Sad to say that it takes more time than it actually does because i lack things I only have scrap plywoods, pencil, and a cutter to start with. I hope I will be able to reach my dream of becoming an architect and passion really is very beautiful
This brings up a question: how were the forms originally generated. Were physical models used to study the many spatial conditions in the building? I cannot imagine that this design came about solely with digital tools. Another question: how carefully are natural lighting considerations brought into the design process? This building shows none of the finesse that one would find in a Steven Holl project.
Hi Nikola, I added you on Instagram the other day! Very nice work! I have a question: I see you are using UFO glue. Is this a superior glue for model making? I don't like tacky glue and I don't know what to use. Can you tell me why you use UFO glue please?
Hey! Thank you! I was using the floor plans and two sections I found on google. It was extremely hard to get all dimensions from only those drawings but it worked out.
@@471-Ultra I forgot to mention that I glued two museum boards together and then did the bending. It provides more strength. It's almost impossible to bend it if it's only one museum board of .5mm.
Thank you. I agree, but I was so late finishing the model (because it took more than I expected) that the last moments of this process were a real rush.

Fantastic job !
Such a great work!!
Thank you Anastasia! :)
It is crazy fantastic!!!😱
Dude What The Heck!? This Is Insane!!!
Thank you!
It really required extra effort to understand the space and then translating that into physical model.
@@nikolagjurchinoski Tell me about it, I'm currently studying this building and yes, it does take extra effort to understand the space.
What materials did you use? What is the glue called?
Amazon links for materials? Thanks so much! It's very beautiful
Amazing😍

Awesome work in which scale i.e measurement did u make this
It was in 1:100, as far as I can recall. This was 5 years ago.
hello nikola i saw your video of maxxi museum how can i reach your plans in scale we had a homework

hi awesome work! i was wondering where did u get the blueprints for this project 'cause i was thinking of doing something like this.

This is crazy. Wonder how long this guy has been doing this because I'm fresh into architecture modeling and I'm absolute ass at it
What material are you using?
Wow great video, Which materials did you use for this model? 🤔
Thank you :) I used museum board for the model and white extruded polystyrene foam.
please, the floor plan was in which scale,
nice video
I did not realize this was in black and white..
How did you make the curves?? What material or technique??
Hey Ali. I was bending the material manually. I am using museum board for this model.
@@nikolagjurchinoski thats crazy I tried to do it with .5mm card it was so difficult I had to wet it and then hot glue it once dry
@@nikolagjurchinoski great technique your model look flawless

Do you have the floor plan?
Impressive model, but you should have shown the sections at the end....

Why is the video black and white
Can you give me a plan maxxi museum

I used museum board for the model and white extruded polystyrene foam for the base!
Thanks for watching! :D
