It’s interesting to note that Josephus noted in his antiquities that Cain left Eden and took his wife to nod. I believe all Christians should read all of Josephus’s works, especially the time after the resurrection and the destruction of Jerusalem. For me the Roman invasion allows a different and more understandable interpretation of the book of Revelation.

Of course he married his sister. Adam and Eve were basically related as well because they share DNA. Marrying relatives was allowed back then in order to multiply humanity. There are also books removed from the Bible that says he married a sister.

Cain married his sister. There was no law against that at that time. When Cain said someone will kill him he was pointing to sowing and reaping. Meaning, whatever you do someone else will do to you. The Bible ALSO says they had other children besides Cain and Able. It’s really simple when we allow the Holy Ghost reveal it to us.

Allow me to provide somewhat of a chronology here that should clarify things:
Genesis 1:26 God 'created' man and woman (together)
Genesis 2:1-3 God rested on the 7th day after blessing his "very good work"
Genesis 2:7 God 'formed' Adam from the earth then placed him into the garden of Eden.
Genesis 2:18 God noted that it was not good for Adam to be alone.
Genesis 2:21 God 'made' Eve from one of Adam's ribs.
Genesis 4-16 Cain is banished and went to live in 'Nod' which was east of Eden, where he knew his wife and had a son.
Refer back to Genesis 1:26. Before resting on the 7th day, God created both man and woman and told them to "be fruitful and multiply. I believe that Cain's wife was descendants of that creation.
Before we misunderstand the word day, I will refer you to Psalms 90:4 and 2 Peter 3:8

The Scriptures tells us in Gen. 4:16-26, that Cain went to the land of Nod and knew his wife, it didn't say that Cain went to his mothers house and knew his wife. Sad to say man seems to have a desire whatever thought he may have now days, even when the word makes it very clear if but continue to read the scriptures. Then again the scripture does say that we are not all lead my the spirit of the Creators, even though we claim to be, but the spirit of the Creators always shows itself.

The creation story in Genesis is a garbled account from the mixing of several ancient creation legends. Literally every tribe on earth had its creation legends. The author of Genesis incorporated some of these legends into the first chapters of Genesis. If the authors of Genesis could come here, see the knowledge mankind has gained in the meantime, they would think a large segment of us are utter fools. They well understood that as the years pass knowledge about everything there is increases. But many of us refuse to belief that knowledge about the processes of creation can increase at all. Then, a little later it says that the gods (notice it is plural) said "let US make man in OUR image." It does not say that these "gods" said "let US make man" . Man was already there. It is saying that these "gods" are remaking man into something other than what they were. If you look closely at the accounts, these gods were not good entities. Nor were their children. It even points that out in your Bible, which does contain some mistranslations, which led to these mistaken belief systems

The idea that Adam and Eve were the first humans created is the wrong idea. Please read, and one only needs to read Gen 1 & 2. On the 6th day God created mankind, male and female together, the ethnic races after the animals. These people were hunter gatherers.
After the Sabbath Adam was formed, the first farmer, then his livestock, then Eve.
The 6th day was to get the plan in action, life under man's rule, not God's Word.
Adam and Eve would be the first in the blood line that would bring forth Christ and Salvation. It's why Israel and that blood line would be protected all through the old Testament. Mary, her father of Judah, her mother of Aaron. The King and Priest line together in Jesus Christ.
