We do need to stop holding on to old understandings, and look at the original or oldest documents with an understanding of the language at the time and the knowledge of today. We need to learn from the examples we’ve found. The stores have a root of truth but have been distorted by ignorance.
The devil is in the details. We fight against principalities we do not fully understand nor have the power to resist on human terms. This video is a great example of trying to minimize the devil. They are the same person to a certain extent, but Jesus is God entirely. He destroyed Satan on the cross. Imagine the spirit of God inhabiting the body of something like the devil (fallen man), resisting temptation, never sinning and then destroying himself. He justified his own name, proved his innocence and resurrected in his glorified form. So it's true, but at the same time, God was never Satan and Satan was never God.

Imagine the spirit of God inhabiting the body of something like the devil (fallen man), resisting temptation, never sinning and then destroying himself.
