I've read that when Jesus mentioned the "church" he was NOT talking about the building or organization .. he was talking about the congregation of people. THESE were HIS church.

What you have shared in this document is very interesting and very true. Let me tell you something that happened to me and a few others in a church we once belong to. 50 years ago, I was a young deacon in a church, I and 6 other deacons were sent to a Christian college to learn ancient Hebrew and Greek. A few years pasted as we became fluent in our learnings about Biblical History. To get to the point, we had caught the Elders and the preacher teaching false doctrines, even though we were right in correcting the elders and preacher, we were excommunicated from the church for exposing the truth. I kept on studying the gospel and biblical history, both in Hebrew and Greek and some Arabic. your right about those different cultures taught in different countries and "CHRISTIAN CULTS" that all claim that they teach the true gospels'. I don't think modern mankind will ever know the truth.

Even though the biblical textes have been changed ..my experiences by reading them ..still gave me a sense, to be able to understand, what actually is most important to me ..that I still believe in a loving creator and that he is capable of doing anything. Just that he didn't make himself in the way one would think, namely as a God in flesh ..but other as a human being, with a mission to bring a divine message to the world. The holy spirit aktually exists in every living being. The free will in mankind, is to make the right decisions, either against or for the truth. That means, man or woman are able to make up there own mind ..if they want to be with or without a relationship with our creator ..but over all the thousands of years ..we see what happens ..when we just do it on our own. Empires fall, divided nations, war and pestilence, suffering of nature, animals and people...

What dates did this happen exactly? Was it edited again in 1775? When were the most serious changes made? A video breaking down the dates, the motives, and reasons would be great. Very excellent video I was told by a priest that the interpretation of the Trinity was done by the Roman Catholic Church deliberately, and I have read in several text and found that to be factual. Not.. exactly.,, there’s almost zero Hebrew Christian scripts. It’s all Greek. The earliest Christian scripts of what we call the Hebrew Bible are between 100-200AD. ALL in Greek. Worse, many of the words and phrases in the complex koine Greek can’t be transliterated into the more basic Hebrew. Meaning the Greek IS the original Christian language. Even the Dead Sea scrolls,.. which record the Jewish Torah a whole millenia earlier than the previously oldest Jewish scrolls are almost allllll Greek. It was called the Hellenistic age for a reason.

We have Paul to thank for this and his teaching that Gentiles, who spoke or understood Greek, did not have to follow the Torah. Even the measley 8’ish words in Aramaic supposedly spoken by Christ and written in the NT; the author is sure to translate into the Greek for us. As far as all the actual evidence points- Christ may as well have been blonde haired and blue eyed. Even a great amount of Jewish/hebrew scholars have put forth relatively convincing arguments that Saul himself could not have been a student of the renown Gamael and was unfamiliar with phariseeic language and beliefs.

@@microsoft-pox I agree with what you said and I think it’s kind of a testament to where everyone is with traditionalists vs what they would call a more secular approach. But I think there is value in getting to know all of it. What I think mostly everyone gets wrong is what matters most is what’s in your heart. I practice traditions to help purify my heart and give me peace. And it’s very powerful, prayer and these traditions that are taught. But the legalists drive me crazy. Like swearing isn’t going to send you to Hell. Ya know? But at the same time, people who do belong in Hell are vile like that. You can’t teach someone reverence, purity and love. You also can’t teach someone to know God in the way you speak of, but it can be explained as best as possible by people doing their best. The church tries and ultimately I am thankful for that and it’s still powerful. There are different kinds of “blind faith” too.

in the king james jesus said "This kind comes by prayer and fasting" jesus had to fast to gain power from the father to heal but in the Catholic bible they took out fasting completely!

This video tells the truth, most biblical scholars already know the bible is not a holy book but a historical book at best which has been re written and edited throughout the centuries, people have been told not to read it but to listen to the teachings of the church but if you read it you realise there’s something wrong with the doctrine and the bible is a copy of the ancient Sumerian texts, well done at explaining it in this video!

The greatest untruth was telling people for centuries that Jesus was the Only son of God when in fact we now know that this whole world is made of atoms, etc. The electron, proton and neutron in the atom float in a substance called Spirit. We are all one with God. When Jesus said The FAther and I are one he meant it was in him and the rest of the universe/s.

Nice try. You can get a greek lexicon and see the Greek for yourself. That's why all the translations are similiar and consistent. Plus, they had more Greek copies available in the 4th century compared to 2000 years later. "Hades" means "Hell" not only in the Bible but also in Homer, Hesiod, etc.

I found the exploration of the word "Ecclesia" particularly fascinating. It makes me question whether our modern concept of "church" aligns with what Jesus originally intended. Are we too focused on institutions instead of fostering true communities of faith and connection?
One of my favorites: All references in Matthew to "the end of the world" in the King James Version came from the Greek word 'aeon' (English equivalet is "eon" or "age"). The end of the age is not nearly as frightening as "the end of the world". End-of-the-world theology got picked up by many preachers, and is used as an image to frighten people. In spite of the fact that almost all newer translations have corrected this error, and use "the end of the age" instead, the end-of-the-world aspect of evangelical theology is still very active.

Yet, the word almah originally did mean "virgin", but later Jews, after Christ claimed it meant "young woman". The prooof it meant "virgin" is found in the LXX, a Greek translation done by Jewish scholars about 250 years before birth of Christ. Those Jewish scholars KNEW the meaning of the word "almah" and correctly translated it in Greek to "parthenos" which in Greek meant specifically "virgin". They had no reason to change the actual meaning of the word "almah" but Jews after Christ did, and still do!

The Jewish scholars who did the LXX Greek translation were obviously aware of the meaning of the word "parthenos" being aware of the Parthenon idol of Athena Parthenos, who at that time in Greece was considered Athena the Virgin Warrior, "Athena Parthenos". So the Greek word "parthenos" very obviously referred ONLY to a "Virgin". You'd need to twist history itself to make the word mean something else than "virgin", or even more so to claim the Hebrew word meant "young woman". Any Jews at the time of Christ and several centuries before, who understood and used the Greek translation of the OT, understood the Greek word clearly meant "virgin". So, centuries before the Masoretic text of the OT, chose to change the meaning of "almah", perfectly knew also that Hebrew word meant "virgin".
@@stephendevore Also consider Judges chapter 11 starting with verse 35, see what Hebrew and LXX words are used there for virginity, (greek is "parthenias" in LXX), also the word "almah" is used in Hebrew Genesis chapter 24:43, where a bride is being sought for Isaac. Obviously the word is in reference to a pure, unadulterated young woman, usually of marriageable age. Obviously the ancient Jewish translators to Greek language KNEW what it meant, even if the Masoretic translators centuries later decided to corrupt the word's meaning.
I think you should clarify “the Bible” you speak of is the New Testament. Unfortunately, the Hebrew Scriptures get lumped in with the New Testament. While the Hebrew Scriptures are not immune to tampering, the Hebrew scribes were not as prone to doctrinal tampering as the Roman church has been with their own scriptures.

In the later translation, Jesus is called a carpenter, as his stepfather was supposed to be a carpenter. The problem was that all the houses were built out of stone, not wood. There were only so many trees in the desert area around Israel. Jesus' father was a stone wright. Jesus never told any story about working with wood but stone. Foundations, He preached about having a sound foundation. He also was a fisherman (of men). The Greeks don't differentiate between woodworkers and stonemasons. They are called builders. A mistranslation.

So which is the "perfect" Bible translation ? Even if the Bible is translated today from 1 or all of original texts, it will still have political twists in it...
It is a fact that the earlier translations had a lot of errors as the translators did not have access to too many early manuscripts. One example is the King James Version. The later translations have up to over 5000 early manuscripts to compare and contrast. This video is implying that the later translations are copying from the earlier translations consisting of errors. This is totally untrue. Especially for the New Testament it is translated from the early Greek manuscripts. Since the early manuscripts were copies of copies, all by hand, they would inadvertently consist of scribal errors. In order to avoid any scribal error, one should translate from the original manuscript written by the author. Unfortunately no original manuscript was found.
Jesus is the way the truth and the life. If you want to know the truth, get to know Jesus. I was fortunate as a child to know Jesus before I ever read the Bible or any other scripture. Jesus called me to prayer when I was 12 years old and by the time I was 13, Jesus gave me the gift of revelation. That was 61 years ago. Everything you talked about in this video, Jesus revealed to me years ago. When I went on a mission to teach the gospel at 19 years of age, that was when I first started reading the scriptures. I quickly discovered that if somebody knew the scriptures well enough, he could make the scriptures say whatever he wanted them to say, a fact which explains the myriad of different denominations. I am 75 years old now and I have learned things that you will not find in history. One thing I learned about was the history of John the apostle. Jesus alluded to the fact that John was not going to die until Jesus made his return to the Jews in Jerusalem, which means John is still alive and still influencing Christianity today. I asked the Lord, "If John has been alive for the last 2000 years, what has he been doing all that time? Jesus told me some things. He told me that, in the first place, after he disappeared from Roman history, he hooked up with a group of stone masons who were famous for building the stone building of the Roman empire, He converted them to Christ's teachings and he gave them priesthood and made them priests. Stone masons could travel anywhere in the Roman empire and their stone working tools were their documents. Before joining up with the stone masons, John had been visiting the Christian communities and organized priests to make copies of scriptures. John would gather up copies to be distributed during his travels. He also directed the Masons to built monasteries for the priests to copy manuscripts. Whenever there was changes to the original texts, John was there to change them back. One example of John's fixing the Bible was the story of the woman taken in adultery. John himself wrote the story when it happened. Then after the church of Constantine was established. There was a bishop in Constantinople who had a wife and she committed adultery. The bishop was angry and wanted to execute his wife, but some of the priests working for him reminded him of the story of Jesus forgiving the adulterous woman, so the Bishop ordered that the story in the Bible should be removed and all copies destroyed, and the bishop went ahead and killed his wife. Years after the Bishop's death, John reintroduced the story written in his own hand. Before the Bible was compiled during the reign of Constantine, John had a list of certain manuscripts that he felt were the most beneficial to new Christians and were, therefore, the most copied. When Constantine's compiler was ordered to come up with a book for the Christians, The compiler went to the monasteries and gathered up those books most often copied from John's list. My view of scripture is that it is, at best, second hand revelation, but as you have so aptly demonstrated, most scriptures today have passed through many hands. I had a conversation a few months ago with a Bible Christian and he was trying to tell me that the Bible was the whole word of God. I had to disagree. Jesus is the word of God and that the Bible only contains some of the words of God. I told him that I preferred first hand revelation from Jesus himself, ahead of the Bible any day. Whenever I am confronted with Biblical doctrines that I do not understand, I go to the source to find out the truth. I have never been disappointed.

Constantine Ist did not make Christianity the state religion of the Roman Empire, he just allowed it in the edict of Milan in 313. It is even uncertain if he was Christianized. It is said that this happened just before he died. If you make such severe errors, the rest of your sermon is not much better. Theodosius Ist made Christianity the state religion of the Roman Empire in 395 shortly before he died.

The masoretic (Hebrew) text is NOT original,.. the original word WAS virgin, This is gonna sound crazy to anyone not in the Christian world but much, much, much later than the time of Christ, the Jews literally got together and rewrote the scripture specifically to undermine Christianity. Let me tell you something that happened to me and a few others in a church we once belong to. 50 years ago, I was a young deacon in a church, I and 6 other deacons were sent to a Christian college to learn ancient Hebrew and Greek. A few years pasted as we became fluent in our learnings about Biblical History. To get to the point, we had caught the Elders and the preacher teaching false doctrines, even though we were right in correcting the elders and preacher, we were excommunicated from the church for exposing the truth. I kept on studying the gospel and biblical history, both in Hebrew and Greek and some Arabic. your right about those different cultures taught in different countries and "CHRISTIAN CULTS" that all claim that they teach the true gospels'. I don't think modern mankind will ever know the truth.

Even though the biblical textes have been changed ..my experiences by reading them ..still gave me a sense, to be able to understand, what actually is most important to me ..that I still believe in a loving creator and that he is capable of doing anything. Just that he didn't make himself in the way one would think, namely as a God in flesh ..but other as a human being, with a mission to bring a divine message to the world. The holy spirit aktually exists in every living being. The free will in mankind, is to make the right decisions, either against or for the truth. Empires fall, divided nations, war and pestilence, suffering of nature, animals and people...

Very excellent video I was told by a priest that the interpretation of the Trinity was done by the Roman Catholic Church deliberately, and I have read in several text and found that to be factual. The Bible was originally written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. The Hebrew Bible, the Tanakh, was first translated from Hebrew and Aramaic into Greek about 2nd to 4th century B.C.

But I think there is value in getting to know all of it. What I think mostly everyone gets wrong is what matters most is what’s in your heart. I practice traditions to help purify my heart and give me peace. And it’s very powerful, prayer and these traditions that are taught. But the legalists drive me crazy. Like swearing isn’t going to send you to Hell. Ya know? But at the same time, people who do belong in Hell are vile like that. You can’t teach someone reverence, purity and love. You also can’t teach someone to know God in the way you speak of, but it can be explained as best as possible by people doing their best. The church tries and ultimately I am thankful for that and it’s still powerful. There are different kinds of “blind faith” too.
The truth will set the world on its way to enlightenment.

Nice try. You can get a greek lexicon and see the Greek for yourself. That's why all the translations are similiar and consistent. Plus, they had more Greek copies available in the 4th century compared to 2000 years later. "Hades" means "Hell" not only in the Bible but also in Homer, Hesiod, etc.
In the absence of a teaching authority what we get is Protestants and multiplications of Protestants to the 10th power and surely beyond. Jesus started one Church; He referred to it as “My Church” when He first commissioned it at Caesarea Philippi. In spite of the fact that almost all newer translations have corrected this error, and use "the end of the age" instead, the end-of-the-world aspect of evangelical theology is still very active.

Yet, the word almah originally did mean "virgin", but later Jews, after Christ claimed it meant "young woman". The prooof it meant "virgin" is found in the LXX, a Greek translation done by Jewish scholars about 250 years before birth of Christ. Those Jewish scholars KNEW the meaning of the word "almah" and correctly translated it in Greek to "parthenos" which in Greek meant specifically "virgin". They had no reason to change the actual meaning of the word "almah" but Jews after Christ did, and still do!
Find me a copy of the LXX that dates to 250 BCE. I believe that even the Greek word can be either one.

The Jewish scholars who did the LXX Greek translation were obviously aware of the meaning of the word "parthenos" being aware of the Parthenon idol of Athena Parthenos, who at that time in Greece was considered Athena the Virgin Warrior, "Athena Parthenos". So the Greek word "parthenos" very obviously referred ONLY to a "Virgin". You'd need to twist history itself to make the word mean something else than "virgin", or even more so to claim the Hebrew word meant "young woman". Any Jews at the time of Christ and several centuries before, who understood and used the Greek translation of the OT, understood the Greek word clearly meant "virgin". So, centuries before the Masoretic text of the OT, chose to change the meaning of "almah", perfectly knew also that Hebrew word meant "virgin".
@@stephendevore Also consider Judges chapter 11 starting with verse 35, see what Hebrew and LXX words are used there for virginity, (greek is "parthenias" in LXX), also the word "almah" is used in Hebrew Genesis chapter 24:43, where a bride is being sought for Isaac. Obviously the word is in reference to a pure, unadulterated young woman, usually of marriageable age. Obviously the ancient Jewish translators to Greek language KNEW what it meant, even if the Masoretic translators centuries later decided to corrupt the word's meaning.
I think you should clarify “the Bible” you speak of is the New Testament. Unfortunately, the Hebrew Scriptures get lumped in with the New Testament. While the Hebrew Scriptures are not immune to tampering, the Hebrew scribes were not as prone to doctrinal tampering as the Roman church has been with their own scriptures.

In the later translation, Jesus is called a carpenter, as his stepfather was supposed to be a carpenter. The problem was that all the houses were built out of stone, not wood. There were only so many trees in the desert area around Israel. Jesus' father was a stone wright. Jesus never told any story about working with wood but stone. Foundations, He preached about having a sound foundation. He also was a fisherman (of men). The Greeks don't differentiate between woodworkers and stonemasons. They are called builders. A mistranslation.

WHAT!!!??? Where on earth did you get this info from? The KJ comes almost exclusively from Vaticaniticus. The whole of KJ new testament is word for word what was written by William Tyndall which he (to the best of his ability) translated from the Vaticaniticus.

Decent video. Most of it is accurate. Some things are opinions, such as the idea of certain “more-reliable” manuscripts, referring to one or two of the oldest, more complete collections. The title is completely misleading: I heard about no one breaking into tears throughout the entire 23 minute video.

Even if the Bible is translated today from 1 or all of original texts, it will still have political twists in it...
It is a fact that the earlier translations had a lot of errors as the translators did not have access to too many early manuscripts. One example is the King James Version. The later translations have up to over 5000 early manuscripts to compare and contrast. This video is implying that the later translations are copying from the earlier translations consisting of errors. This is totally untrue. Especially for the New Testament it is translated from the early Greek manuscripts. Since the early manuscripts were copies of copies, all by hand, they would inadvertently consist of scribal errors. In order to avoid any scribal error, one should translate from the original manuscript written by the author. Unfortunately no original manuscript was found.

Jesus is the way the truth and the life. If you want to know the truth, get to know Jesus. I was fortunate as a child to know Jesus before I ever read the Bible or any other scripture. Jesus called me to prayer when I was 12 years old and by the time I was 13, Jesus gave me the gift of revelation. That was 61 years ago. Everything you talked about in this video, Jesus revealed to me years ago. When I went on a mission to teach the gospel at 19 years of age, that was when I first started reading the scriptures. I quickly discovered that if somebody knew the scriptures well enough, he could make the scriptures say whatever he wanted them to say, a fact which explains the myriad of different denominations.
I am 75 years old now and I have learned things that you will not find in history. One thing I learned about was the history of John the apostle. Jesus alluded to the fact that John was not going to die until Jesus made his return to the Jews in Jerusalem, which means John is still alive and still influencing Christianity today. I asked the Lord, "If John has been alive for the last 2000 years, what has he been doing all that time? Jesus told me some things. He told me that, in the first place, after he disappeared from Roman history, he hooked up with a group of stone masons who were famous for building the stone building of the Roman empire, He converted them to Christ's teachings and he gave them priesthood and made them priests. Stone masons could travel anywhere in the Roman empire and their stone working tools were their documents. Before joining up with the stone masons, John had been visiting the Christian communities and organized priests to make copies of scriptures. John would gather up copies to be distributed during his travels. He also directed the Masons to built monasteries for the priests to copy manuscripts. Whenever there was changes to the original texts, John was there to change them back.
One example of John's fixing the Bible was the story of the woman taken in adultery. John himself wrote the story when it happened. Then after the church of Constantine was established. There was a bishop in Constantinople who had a wife and she committed adultery. The bishop was angry and wanted to execute his wife, but some of the priests working for him reminded him of the story of Jesus forgiving the adulterous woman, so the Bishop ordered that the story in the Bible should be removed and all copies destroyed, and the bishop went ahead and killed his wife. Years after the Bishop's death, John reintroduced the story written in his own hand.
Before the Bible was compiled during the reign of Constantine, John had a list of certain manuscripts that he felt were the most beneficial to new Christians and were, therefore, the most copied. When Constantine's compiler was ordered to come up with a book for the Christians, The compiler went to the monasteries and gathered up those books most often copied from John's list.
My view of scripture is that it is, at best, second hand revelation, but as you have so aptly demonstrated, most scriptures today have passed through many hands. I had a conversation a few months ago with a Bible Christian and he was trying to tell me that the Bible was the whole word of God. I had to disagree. Jesus is the word of God and that the Bible only contains some of the words of God. I told him that I preferred first hand revelation from Jesus himself, ahead of the Bible any day. Whenever I am confronted with Biblical doctrines that I do not understand, I go to the source to find out the truth. I have never been disappointed.

There seems to be some confusion in your analysis, you have combined 2 different verses from the Quran and made up a verse that discusses two different things.
The verse discussing Jesus and Mary, Mother of Jesus is highlighting the erroneous belief, especially amongst Catholics, that call Jesus as God and Mary, as Mother of God. The Quran reaffirms that this believe is very wrong. The verse can be found at 5:116.
The next point regarding a Quran verse highlighting the Trinity from Christian belief, can be found in Quran 5:73
This verse states that God is NOT a Trinity and that GOD IS ONE!
It was the early Church fathers at the Council of Niscea that introduced the belief in the Trinity! The Bible does not support the idea of the Trinity. It was incorporated into Christian Theology to enhance the God-like nature of Jesus.
Jesus was but a man, a very special human being that was chosen by God, from amongst all the people of hid time, to be a Messenger.

He's right?? So then he says that the 2000 years ago doesn't match the bible of today, even though there is no bible 2000 years ago? So he's absolutely right a book today doesn't match a book that wasn't invented yet? While so much of what he said in this video has no evidence, but is just conspiracy theory. We think folks limited what books were in the bible due to some agenda, but we have no agenda with that agenda existing. Its actually a fairly modern idea of the last few centuries. While he fails to mention that often bible books were left out not because they disrupted the agenda, but because they said ideas that couldn't be validated by any other book. So, if we have a book that says Jesus was a lizard being from Mars is it a secret agenda keeping the book out to create a certain agenda, or because it couldn't be validated?

I forget the name of the conference where it took place but this is by no means a secret. It’s documented history. The names of those involved are recorded and attested to in civil records.
