Hi Catherine. Use the foot lift lever at the back of the machine to manually put the foot in up position and keep it there until done. Once you put the bobbin back in with about a 2" tail, hold the needle thread with your left hand to where it has a tight tension, then reach to the pulley with your right hand and turn it towards you (counter-clockwise)...this will lower the needle down and keep turning until it makes a complete cycle down and up...when it comes back up, it will bring out the looped bobbin thread with it...use scissors or tweezers to swipe the threads out under the foot. Keep tight tension on the needle thread throughout this process. Once both threads are out, you can start sewing. If you think you need a short video on this, let me know. Thanks. Dali.
Greetings. What is the bobbin size for this Thor GC 1541S? Thanks.
once the bobbin is full and put back in, how do you catch the thread with the needle??

Hi...I have a question. When engaging the lever nothing happens, the bobbin dosen't start to wind. Have any idea why and what I should do.
