I feel as if you do need to do the comms, otherwise you’re essentially just playing a game with them and they don’t learn anything from it. Giving them instructions for their comp and mid-game strategizing would likely be very useful for them.
I disagree. 3 randoms every game is bound to get super annoying super fast if we have to listen to them while we watch. Also you overestimate how helpful he will be able to be over mic. What would he have said this game, make skirms? Get upgrades? It's not like he's gonna convey some gems of strategy that are gonna make them play better. I don't think any of them even made it to imp and if they did it was almost an hour game time. With respect to the 3 in this game they have no business even being carried against stronger opponents
@@JohnSmith-tk7ntnobody gives a shit if it's anybody's business or not it's fun to watch so Hera does it. And yea comms will be very great help for the teammate. Information is so important in teamgames. Just knowing an info few mins early can change the tide of the battle
You can definitely turn that into a series cause it's so identifiable! So many of use play with a team of friends with some that are lower levels, and the feeling that the best player has to carry is definitely there :D Same here !
I think they got stomped so hard because its ranked and because your your elo it gave you strong opponents, so it is kind of balanced as it account for you carrying the game. Better way to help them, in my opinion would be to be on coms + stream and advice strategies.
Hi Hera this was really good. Kind of similar to your 1 vs many games :) I think the elo thing made it better, with the enemy players being a little stronger creates tension as you are on a timer. More pls GJ :)
My favorite youtube streamer. Lets go HERA!!! I just moved and your videos have helped me burn the time while I have set up my new place. Thank you! Keep doing what youre doing and best wishes!
Fun vid! I would love to see comms happen for games like these. It'd add a whole level of strats. You'd also be able to tell them not to trade in early castle 11
Me too, I think sling + hera abandoned his town with nothing to sight him coming back. Not coitizing hera but in my low elo games I always move a lot of my eco to a downed opponents area especially if they have resources. It serves two purposes, keeps them from re-booming there and makes my original base less venerable as I push because my eco is behind me not a mile away. And I would love it is he started linking the recorded game somehow. I always want to see others point of view as they get wrecked to learn. You can only learn so much from the aggressors perpective.
I loved this video type. I would enjoy some videos with discord but I also like hearing you talk while the game is going to see what you’re thinking about
Really enjoying this! Could you get in voice comms with just your pocket? Then it wouldn't be so chaotic, but that person would be able to learn loads :)
At least they dont just resign the moment things things go bad, ruining the game for the rest of the team. I cant stand this in team games and so many players do it. You should always try to survive to give your team mates a chance to win.
@@alexandruciordas4941 Yes with ramdoms. How do you know you're team doesn't have any players that can carry the game if you are quitter? That's my whole point.
That was excellent. Supports my contention that 1200 is not "noob." I mainly play unranked BF 4v4. Games that claim to be noob will have 800-1300 ELO which is BS. A 1300 can really dominate the game.
This was pretty sick game, lots of fights on every side. I think grey re-booming costed game :( and those plummed archers really played a number. A really good game though :)
Though the skill levels may be different, we are all bound by the same fundamental mechanics of the game. In a huge team game like this, 200 pop cap is a most powerful equalizer.
This was very entertaining. Next time tell them if they get cleared to take the territories you clear. That will both give them room to grow and prevent the enemy from retaking it like it happened here.
Hey bruh, some feedbacks. I believe the fastest play by mongol is by just having gold & wood eco. After you got all the upgrades you maybe would move all your food vills to wood and gold than delete unnecessary ones. I believe your max army never exceeded 70+ but with opponents untouched gold you could have like 50 wood, 35 gold, 15 construction, 100 army and keep making army until you defeat all of them. If you ask me, you should never stop having rams because it is very essential to tank enemy shots even the they are good at tanking elephants because they are very fast and eles having hard time to catch them. Instead of hussar, mangudai I believe siege ram, so, mangudai would make better against all their compositions. Anyway it was very fun, please make more content.
I think you should rather do this serie with players with a bit higher elo, maybe something around 1100/1200+ where players usually have better knowledge of their civs + their direct opponent civs. Even if they're lacking in micro and strategy, they still would know how to use extra ressources. Then you could carry the game 100%, with your own push but also with your eco. That being said, that was still a lot of fun to watch and seemingly also fun to play. It was really interesting to see how your allies could actually hold for quite a bit of time despite the elo gap with your opponents.
I liked the concept and always thought if I had to play with you I’d rather be on your team than against you. But I’m not sure it has been a pleasure for them to be under pressure against stronger opponent the whole game while you were pushing on your side 😅 Maybe if it was a 2v2 you could help more (or 3v3) But I think being on voice would be better so that you can give precious advice to them (maybe more audible in 2v2 or 3v3).
As someone who mostly does 4v4, I can't say I am a big fan of this. It happens way too often that a high ELO sneaks in the game and stump everyone else. Ruins the experience for those who expect people in their ELO range. The matchmaking system isn't made to deal with this. It matters less on close map, but open map and some with wilder starts like Nomad are just so unfun to get deleted by someone 500+ Elo above you.
Hera when teammates are being killed: go imp, do this, who need res my game when i am being killed rest of team: u noob, we lost coz of u, i can't figth 1vs4, autoresign
One thing I noticed with so many pro players including viper is they’ll never probably check all the corners for sneaks or properly clear an area. Seems to bite them in the rear so to speak.
@Hera Why did you not use Siege Onager against all tbose skirm units. I felt that the mangudai didnt trade as well as they could of against thr skirm/elephant combo. It kinda slowed down your push at the critical moment from a strategic perspective
I loved the idea!! Bring more game like this, arabia sucks! And giving the chance of playing with you, make your view days. Can you play some games with a cam in the keyboard as well??
I play with my older brother a lot and hes about 500 team ELO below me so i see scenarios like this a lot. Weak players want to play pocket cuz they think thats easier but you should actually be pocket so you can help both sides. I make my brother play flank cuz otherwise he will sit in his base and make defensive trash all game with no upgrades Also you should do a replay of the game on fast speed afterwards to see what your teammates were doing all game. Takes 5 mins and its usually hilarious to see yourself absolutely sweating because you are microing so hard and macroing 100 things at the same time... then to look over at your teammates at minute 45 in the pocket in castle age with no army lol. I usually get some really big laughs. "Ok heres where i killed the flank and im in a full on 3v1 against my army on this side... wonder what my team is doing... oh there he is making his first dock at just past 50 minutes game time in castle age! Crucial strategy play from the big brain pocket player!" I also loved the point where you are being rushed by skirms, spears, and MAA in feudal and your pocket waits about ten minutes and sends over several unupgraded spearmen. You can always count on low ELO players to make spearmen to counter ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING and provide absolutely zero help lol. I want more of these please!
Really good video concept! It would've been a much different game had you been mic'ed up, you can relay a lot more information of what specifically to do rather than typing in chat "elephant archers" and hoping a ~1000 elo person will know who should do what to prepare. If Celts could've been communicated to get oenagers or the Brits player to get skirm upgrades easier y'all would've won.
If you had walled off your side at start it would have saved you a ton of early aggression + the boar lame. Spent a lot of the game recovering after that
Yeah I think if Hera walled up and turtled for a bit his team would have had a much better chance, because the opening in Hera's walls allowed a boatload of army from the opponents to enter their base and slow down Hera (and more importantly his teammates) very significantly. At low elo, it is hard to both boom and make army at the same time. His teammates, thinking that Hera has walled and that they are safe, would likely have not made much (or any army) and would be aiming towards a fast castle, while they were surprised by a huge number of men at arms, scouts and knights from the opponents.
Very good game, looking forward to more of these ranked games where you queue up with lower ranked players. Looks like the algorithm did its job! The match was very close.
I think adding comms it's not that great, at least in my case I try to learn from this videos and hearing you comment the game itself, talking about different options and desicions you could make to improve. But it could be interesting and funny to hear other people play and go crazy at late game xd
Love it. It would be better if you voice chat if it gets too chaotic just do another one without voice chat again. Also i don't think the teammates were 1k elo probably 800 or something. I'm 850 and even i can get 3 tcs by 18-20 mins in BF

Especially if it means we get to hear more of Hera's buttery audible chocolate of a voice! 🫠
This was very fun and enjoyable to watch!
Despite losing i'd say this is one of the closest 1vX games you've had.
seems like a promising series. different maps, different elo players etc would be fun to watch
This is basicly 1v4 with extra steps
1v4 with auto wall and castle builders
This was Epic!!! watching you micro is amazing, crazy fight most of game, what a vid, defo want more of these!
Another vote for making this a regular thing, perhaps teaming up with the same guys and coaching them a bit more on discord

The opponents should have paid for this game 😂 they definitely had way more fun than Hera's teammates.
13:30 to 14:00 best part of the game.
The best melee micro :)
That was crazy indeed
Yes that was ridiculously funny. Was like a 16 year old holding his arm out, pushing on the face of a 5 year old, whose arms are flailing wildly, lol
The micros especially early on was impressive and super fun to watch. You can really tell the difference between the skill level

Great game. Crazy map awareness and the game was everywhere at once but still very easy to follow thanks to the commentary.
What I would also love to see: you just live coaching teams, like coordinating them. But that could also bei very cool or very chaotic ;)
That was really fun to watch, black forest seems like the perfect map for this series
Definitely excited to watch this series continue
Yeah I was hoping for a series on this.

For sure way more fun than 1vX as you acctually have good fighting chances
Would like to see more stuff like this
enjoyed. More please. Very surprised when you didn't put outposts down. Good run.
That was so fun and exciting to watch!!! Pushing your front while watching out for the other front 11
So fun to watch! I would love the voicechat! Best content so far!

Yes, more of this, please.
Epic carry, but the teammates just rolled over and died so fast.
Tbf putting him in there boosted their rank by a lot so they got higher elo players than they would normally have gotten because they asked him

Hera: domesticates boars all over the map and makes them housepigs
