Dear Jane, I'm watching this video after your latest video and am sorry you are going through such a sorrowful time. We have just had the Easter long weekend (as you know in Australia) and we all had Covid and the weather was miserable and we couldn't do anything and on top of that still going through the loss of our son so it was a thoroughly miserable time. But I at least had my knitting. I hope you can find some sunshine and rainbows in the days ahead. Just as I wrote that the sun came out!!. Life kicks us all in the guts at times, we just start learning to protect ourselves and pick ourselves back up, which I know you will do. Sending luv and hugs 💌💌
So so sorry for your loss Donna. Absolutely devastating and I can fully relate to the sentiment of being kicked in the guts and despite that keep on breathing and just take one day at a time.

Thank you for another great podcast. I enjoyed hearing the greeting when your son or daughter arrived home. So sorry for your loss - no matter how much you think you are prepared for the passing of a parent, we are not. That plane trip must have been so long and so hard to take. I am so sorry for your loss. I have not seen your podcast until April as I don’t do Instagram or Facebook and I missed this episode. Grief takes as long as it takes and it isn’t needed for you to be cheery. Please just note over time, the peaks will become a little less high and the troughs a little less deep. I feel very privileged to be made aware of your deep sadness. Thank you. I lost my mother 61 years ago and I still miss her. Life continues as we all know and the sadness diminishes but the loss is forever. May your journey be gentle. Bless you.

Jane, sorry to hear of the continued stress, please know that we are thinking of you and sending all the good vibes your way! Enjoyed the episode and I was hoping to get the Knitting for Summer book, unfortunately with the shipping cost to the US, it is more than the book costs--it is how it goes these days. I will put in on my list for the next time I am able to get across the Atlantic and get it in person. Living in a sub-tropical climate, the patterns look like they are just right for me. I have the Gum Nut Tee in my queue waiting to see if I get birthday yarn next week and if not, then I will certainly be working on it for the Knit Along hosted by Pia Trans in April. I hope that you can "escape" and find some peace with your knitting. Take care of yourself!

I’m so sorry about your mum, sending you so much love ❤️ I too have been living in survival mode the last few years with a few family issues that have been almost too hard to carry. It’s not an easy path 😔 but one I’m learning to walk (or stumble) through and I hope yours becomes a little easier, I’m sending positive vibes your way 💖💕 knitting has saved and is saving my sanity. Jeg har lige købt holst Garn for første gang. Jeg er meget spændt på det.
Jeg brugte 1200m af hver kvalitet. 3 nøgler Titicaca og 4 nøgler Coast. Rigtig god fornøjelse.
Du får lige et kram og positive tanker sendt i din retning. Håber livet vender hurtigt og viser sine lyse sider snart. Jeg fik da klemt en tåre eller to på din vegne. Jeg kunne få job som grædekone. Det rammer mig altid lige i hjertet når andre har ondt ❤
