Didn't see you mention this but that chief hologram looks like halo 5, halo 4 chief has a huge dent in the chest armour, halo 5 has the armour undamaged.
I think they always intended to go back to a more classic design after 4 and 5 due to people complaining about the art style in both. They wouldn't have been able to get away with a third game like that. It's most likely so present due to refusing assets when creating the game as placeholders. Gameplay development comes first, since it is the main focus, and visuals come second. In emblems I assume it's just a call back for those that liked the armour.
Seeing the second floor had me thinking about how cool it'd be if in the reckoning map, if you 5-0 with no deaths on the first floor, you move up to the second floor with harder and more enemies. experience bonus included
LOL debate on Twitter over using campaign maps??? You mean like every. Single. Map. In halo reach at launch? Where bungie used exclusively campaign levels?? All the multiplayer built maps in reach were made by 343 years later. And the maps in reach werent even balanced for pvp. This is firefight, where map balance matters far far far less. Totally different. Campaign levels arguably make the MOST sense. As they were buit with ai running around in the first place. So the ai should simply work better in those environments.
@@battedbook5811 crazy stuff lol. I'm loving it. Not sure how Id feel about king of the hill, but it's well done. The flow is nice, you're not running around not being able to find enemies, everyone has plenty to shoot, weapon placements are good, it's all well balanced. Not too hard, not too easy.
You call reused multiplayer maps and forge-made community maps “good”? After more than 2 years of development time after launch and not a single new map for firefight? Man, the bar is so low…
@@howuncouth8198dude both odst and reach used multiplayer and campaign maps for 90 to 100% of the firefight maps, your stupid if your complaining about that
Okay? and how do you defend the fact that Reach, while having campaign maps yes, had, what, 15 or so at launch (which had a development time of 3 years)? How many does this game have that don't include half-baked community made firefight maps that look like they were made in Unity?@@einar2004
I'm a little surprised they didn't use the second floor as well as an Additional firefight map but regardless I'm sure the Foragers will have some ideas with these
They have them on other already existing dev maps and forge maps as well. It's weird that people would even THINK To complain on Twitter that it's a campaign map. Why? Because literally every single map in reach at launch, every single one, was torn directly from the campaign. Even the invasion map. Not a single original map built for multiplayer. Not one. 343 released actual maps built and balanced for multiplayer, later on.
You might be able to check if these things are in the campaign version by reverting to an older version of the game on steam and using the ground pound glitch to get out of the map. It's a trick speedrunners use all the tine
If anyone is complaining about them reusing campaign maps for firefight, genuinely, they need to shut up. ODST and Reach's Firefight maps were all ripped straight from the campaign. It's such a stupid complaint.
Wait, what problem do people have with the house of reckoning map? I assume it's the fact that it is a map reusued from the campaign (albeit one i was hoping would get used for firefight). I do hope it isn't that since I don't hear people complaining about similar maps in Reach and ODST.
Weren't there also literally a good amount people that wanted the House of Reckoning to be a firefight map too before firefight was even a thing for Infinite? What is it with some people?
@@MisterJohnDoe The Halo community cares more about trying to kill Halo by making every single matter of subjective preference into an objective problem, than they care about enjoying the games. I think the reason why halo is so into the sandwiches was possibly from Halo reach. I remember a marine talking about sandwiches a lot, so could that be the reason why they like the sandwiches? Cause the marine that kept asking for a sandwich from noble-6 just might've returned in a way in Halo INFINITE. Correct me if I'm wrong
I am not sure I'm the only one to notice but on zanzibar and a few other maps have rocket in the floor for no reason but I think its a easter egg for something in the maps
Bruh what?? Classic AR? You mean like, a slightly different skin to look like CE? And classic Banshee? You mean paintjob? Yeah would be nice I guess, but the world isn't ending because Banshees are red and not purple.

A lot of people pay you a lot of respect General Kid.
At least from what I’ve seen in halo related videos. Especially Easter egg videos

The only firefight map that i can think of, that wasn't reused campaing map is that one DLC map in Halo Reach. People just love complaining.

@@battedbook5811Halo Reach has many different DLC maps that weren't in campaign, but yeah. Also Forge World too.
@@MisterJohnDoe I know. I was only talking about the firefight maps.
Can’t wait to play this map when I get home!
3:15 did anyone perceive that master chief is using his reclaimer armor? (which means he was using the armor that he used halo 4-halo 5 guardians).
unironically means it'll be in the store LOL
Yep, wanted to point that out
His Mark 6 Gen 2 armor
I haven't been more excited to play Infinite since launch. This update was so needed!
Interesting to see if the other firefight maps have easter eggs too. 343 is really doing a good job!

It is a hologram of halo 5 master cheaf armor

the master chief with bags is the halo 4 version how odd
Probably left over from the development where they used the halo 5 model as a place over
Either a leftover asset or it's going to be a new armor core.
Next, bosses vs a waps. The herald does nothing for defend ifself, but other bosses?

So Why TF isn’t there a Classic Banshee and AR yet in infinite !?
Never mind putting in ALL Legacy Vehicles And Weapons from CE to Now !?

...Because adding in everything for the sake of having it would just bloat the sandbox and make balancing a super granular nightmare?
Master chief running away with shopping bags feels like a blatant way of 343 saying that they ran away with your money 😅
Like Don’t you think after 20 years Halo Players can FINALLY and Deserve to play with the CE Wraith !? Without stupid Mods ?!
We did get to.
In Halo 2 and onward.
There's no NEED to make the CE Wraith drivable
Sure, in MCC where it's relevant.
i think the shopping bag easter egg might have something to do with @ImpactProps
