@@rebassucof6676 Well I still haven't played it again since the updates that claimed they made mud traversal harder again. Is it actually as hard as it was all the way back at the original launch, or is it still a cakewalk?
@@rebassucof6676 Copycat ripoff? What? The Publisher took creative rights away from the original developer of the game. It was widely regarded as a dick move. So he left the publisher and released MudRunner as he still retained rights to all the assets. It's basically the new official version of the game, and original Spintires is now a soulless cashgrab. The Cernobyl DLC you see here is an attempt to keep original Spintires generating money, because the community has largely abandoned it. So copy cat ripoff? No. Just no. Just stop. You have zero idea what you are saying. Mudrunner has way more updated technology, more assets, better graphics, is overall more mod-friendly and better designed. Original Spintires is stuck in the shape it was in when the developer left it. They haven't updated any of the technology. MudRunner is basically by proof-of-fact the superior game in every conceivable way, and is being developed by the original developer who created Spintires to begin with...
I think the original Spintires is much better to play than Mudrunner. Just wish it had cab view.

Not sure if it’s just me thinking this but.. Why would you be logging in the middle of Chernobyl?
Well part of the clean-up effort was falling trees and removing the soil, so I guess they could make it about that? Who knows.
Hopefully, otherwise might be a little weird if it’s still just selling the logs to a saw mill
It'd be nice if they tweaked the game a little bit to say transport cleaners here and there, but yeah kinda strange to move logs around here.
Not only were thousands of tons worth of soil excavated and carried away by trucks, but all the equipment and materials needed to contain and work the site were also carried in and out by trucks mostly. So that's definitely a big one.
Clearly you haven’t been following; there’s been a ton of free updates, new content etc. Spintires is well developed and executed...

no i heard stories about a dev that worked on spintires and decided to go to another game make company and he knew the spintires mud mechanics and all so thats how mudrunner came to the marked. but hey. i'm just a guy on the internet

Very very interesting...But may be this DLC will add more new gameplay features? Like clearing machines after arriving to garage or another similar things. It will be cool.

@@realextreamoliwier7854 Unfortunately, I didn't buy it because Spintires was removed from Steam because Oovee had problems with publishing rights.
Oooh yes, I am sooooooooooooooooo excited for this. Ive driven around the Chernobyl Truck that someone made in the workshop, the one where you can add lead and even have liquidators sitting in the back of the truck in hazmat suits, that truck was probably one of the coolest workshop trucks made, I'd love to see them actually implement that into this dlc.

Because Spintires continues to be developed and supported by Oovee games while Saber/Focus just made Mudrunner for a cash grab and have now abandoned it....

Oovee has never been involved in Mudrunner.
@Allosaurus 67 Yeah as far as i know. Pavel the developer of Spintires fell out with Oovee and then he found a new publisher to release his game again with different name and updates.
@Allosaurus 67 Pavel and Focus Interactive are developing the sequel to Mudrunner called Snowrunner which is supposed to be out next year and Oovee are trying updating the Original Spintires with out him. I don't think he will ever work with Oovee ever again since all the hassle he had years ago with them on the original Spintires.

Competition is good, it kicked oovee in the ass to actually update the game since everyone was jumping over to mudrunner. That said Oovee left a sour taste in my mouth were I don't trust a word they say.

Using a real alert phone call to promote a stupid piece of DLC for a game they abandonned 5 years ago. Classy.
Left Empty er, I’ve received loads of FREE updates and new content to the game over the last year. It’s definitely not abandoned. Anyhow, this DLC looks awesome and I can’t wait 😁
Never buy anything from Oovee. They just scammed the main developer. Spintires is not their game they are just little scammers
The fact that they own the rights doesn't cancel that they tricked the dev into accidentally signing a very unprofitable contract.

From what I know, he signed this contract having no experience (and this legal stuff is always complicated as f...). So he was offered a disadvantageous contract (which is not fair play to begin with) and made a mistake. And after he transferred the rights he had no more control over how to improve the game either.
So if you think he has been paid well, why did he change the publisher, re-brand the game and now developing it as a Mudrunner? And why the original one was abandoned for a long time?
