    I used to love my old DYAD's 5, 6, 7 & 8, Just could not wear them from 9 up, They just hadn't got the cushion I needed that the old DYADs had, moved to Hoka now, wow what a difference

    Hi Josh
    Good review. You didnt mention the weigh? I know the 10 was a couple of onces lighter than the 9.

    I wear orthotics and I've used the Dyad 10 for 3 marathons. I think its a good shoe...however I've met several old people that use the shoe for walking lol

      Haha A lot of people who wearing the Dyad's aren't running.
      I'd suggest trying the same size in the Glycerin 18 by Brooks, more of a running shoe and will accommodate orthotics similar to what the Dyad does.

      Beyond Dafeet I bought a pair of Ghosts because I wanted a little more cushion and they are very comfortable but it seems like they are just killing my knees. I’ve had patellar tendon issues for a while and it just seems like the ghosts make me heel strike more and seems to hurt my knees a lot more readily than the dyads. Who knows.

      Yeah Ghost's running on a 12mm drop where the Glycerin & Dyad are 10mm drops. 2mm might not seem much but does change a bit.
      I'd say the Glycerin is more cushioned than the Ghost, shouldn't cause much knee soreness since its got more forefoot cushioning.

    I'm torn between the Dyad 11 and the Adrenaline GTS 20. I have quite wide flat feet and I seem to overpronate quite a bit. I also wear insoles where possible. Which shoe do you think makes more sense for running frequent 5-10k runs in these circumstances? Any help with this will be hugely appreciated!

      Adrenaline 100% or even a Newbalance 860. Both come in multiple widths and will provide you with the support you need.

    The Dyad 11 is a lot more like the Dyad 9, which in my opinion is the best make of trainers I've ever used. It's a shame that they have that taper on the base at the midfoot. It was straight in the Dyad 9 which is perfect for flat footed and heavier people. I said "no" to the Dyad 10. I might say "yes" to the Dyad 11.

    Would you suggest these for someone who’s underpronation or supination?

    • @BeyondDafeet

      Yes they will still work well as a slower running/ walking shoe but if your after a faster more cushioned trainer it would be best to check out the Ghost 13 by Brooks.

    Does your heel feel lower then your toe like the dyad 10?

    • @BeyondDafeet
      @BeyondDafeet  4 года назад

      Nope, can notice the heel is raised higher then the forefoot. However I didn't feel what your saying in the dyad 10 and because overall not a lot has changed you may still experience that feeling...
