Hello Valeria, Lazio outside Rome is an underrated region for me. I will be vacationing there for 24 days in the autumn. My hotel accommodation will be in Subiaco, Tivoli, Genazzano, Anagni and Viterbo. From Genazzano I will make trips to San Vito Romano, Olevano Romano and Palestrina. Many landscape painters, among others, stayed there in the 18th and 19th centuries. From Viterbo I will also take a day trip to Civita di Bagnoregio. I have already been to Rome five times. Now other places are popular. Kind regards, Stefan from Germany!🙂🙂🙂

@@DramaticallyExpatic Before my next longer trip to Italy, I'm going on vacation for a week in Bruges at the beginning of August. You've been there before too. I've already watched your very interesting video about Bruges. ❤

I think of Umbria as Tuscany without the massed crowds and silly prices.
My next Italy trip (via Albania) is to Bari and a return to Bergamo and Brescia to catch a flight home.
Cannot get enough of Italy. ❤️

My favorite is Santa Margherita Ligure, an alternative to Portofino. But CNN wrote about it a year or two ago, and now it's getting quite popular! I might have to find another small town on the sea. :)

If you were to pick somewhere to live in Italy. Somewhere where it wasn’t too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter. Is there such a place and where would dare that be?

Okay for Bologna, but in this period it is better to visit it doing transfusions of ice cream and granitas 😅

None of your suggestions is "hidden", they are very popular and crowded instead
