Looking at all those new balances and seeing how awesome they look feels weird because I never liked new balance but idk now I wanna buy some, the quality just looks amazing.
I know I thought the same thing, it doesn't feel or look right to skate

who cares? Vans is under a corporate umbrella. Although Huf is a relatively skater focused company, they supply their goods at Zumiez and shit like that. At the end of the day, every single company is in the industry to make money. Nike, Adidas, Converse, New Balance they all have the money and the technology to provide skaters with the best products possible. Idc if the companies have dudes in suits and ties, if they make good shit, who are we to say something? Why does the fact that the Company owner can skate matter so much to our consumerism?
I feel that NB has achieved this 1000% Definitely the best shoes I've skated and really the only shoe brand I skate in anymore

No those are an old model that they don’t make anymore, a pre production run of the 868. This is over five years ago, WAY before Tiago was on the team and his 1010s were even a thought.

I honestly like new balance but the soles on the Quincy are terrible it literally have a 2.5 hole right where the ball of the foot is
The soles on my Artos lasted a week from skating but my PJs lasted awhile
some bs here. NB# are way too narrow and hurt on impact which is the opposite of their running shoes. i don't think there's that much going on in the way of R&D. this is mostly just marketing.
guys this is simple marketing... all every company does is try to make quality products. You gotta think where your money goes does your money go? To the big corporation executive's pockets from nike and adidas that really are just about making quartly profits. Sure new balance has skaters on the payroll. You actually screw over professional skaters who actually live the culture and own companies. Skaters rely on their brands like es, emerica, etnies, lakai, rip fallen to do what they do
