I myself am from upstate NY, and it is so nice to finally see a cities skylines series based on the northeastern area of America. The fall set reminds me of when we would visit my grandparents in PA and we would go to Scranton or Binghamton during the fall and reminds me a little bit of Massachusetts, Vermont and New Hampshire. I love this series so much and I can never wait for the next episode. You never disappoint on your series and keep up the great work.
I live near a railroad that I believe is the henry flagler railroad. there is a lot of cement plants along it and old factories that have defunct split sections where they would load cars, that are in such a state of dis-repair that they are un useable. I think you should incorporate this into this city or the next one.
Go Vermont for not having billboards! Having grown up there, there are a lot more dirt roads then paved, and the paved roads are either fresh black or have gone through a winter and are full of potholes and patches. I think if you are able to add some of those elements it will bring good realism. Check out my home town WOODSTOCK VT. it has a great main st, national park, a large Inn in the center of the town, and surrounding historic Victorian houses. Woodstock has been voted the most Idyllic small town in America a couple of times. I think it would play well in the New Windsor vibe
Fantastic job. I live 15 minutes from Danbury. I know this area well. And no hate here with the trees. New England is basically trees with some towns and cities sprinkled in. 😁
I live in western CT. Honestly, this grouping of commercial buildings could be literally any town off 84 from danbury to manchester, it's kind of scary.
I really love this game. I was thinking about getting it on xbox but then I watched strict toasters video about CS on console, and he said it was bad. But if I get it on the computer, I won't be able to use it because of how bad it is. I want to play it so bad because when I graduate highschool I want to become a road planner. But I was going on a tangent, Pres, oh my god you are like one of the best CS youtubers out there, up there with Bsquiklehausen, akruas, and strictoaster. I really appreciate what you put into this game. You are fantastic. Cheers!
I have it on PC too and my PC isn't that good but i mean everyone that does detailing plays with low fps and if you don't push the graphics up as high as the top youtubers it works quite good so try it
@@leganolf1827 thank you, Maybe I will. I just want it to build aesthetic cities, like this, but I don't want to have a bunch of assets taking up all of my space.
Hi, am like your videos and I want to leave a suggestion. I think it would be cool to have a little town that is kinda new ly developed. For example creating a newer neighborhood that has newer looking homes and smaller trees. I like houses a lot and I would like to see you maybe creating that one day!
Here in Chicago, I don't think I hear many people say "freeway" either. Most people say highway, tollway (some highways have tolls in Illinois) and expressway, not sure about the rest of the Midwest.
if u want good inspiration for a smaller downtown area, checkout my city, Nashua, New Hampshire. Its got the dowtown area full off old brick buildings converted into commercial and office places, as well as former industrial area being rebuilt around Pine Street and Broad St Parkway
I’m not from North America but I know loads of Irish people emigrate to New England and wherever Irish people emigrate to irish pubs/bars open up might be worth adding
Your cities are very appealing to the eyes; but I wonder how functional they are in game-terms, principally traffic percentage (which seems to me to be very good), overall city profit and coverage of basic city functions (fire, police, health, garbage), etc.
Are you ever gonna get to midcentury suburbs? Most of New England has 40s 50s and 60s suburbs then they mostly stopped building except for a VERY VERY rare and small McMansion subdivision every so often
Sometimes i think Pres, you overplace trees a little bit, especially in these industrial / commercial areas. On google maps i often see big concrete or dirt area´s which are not in use. Good Vid as usal !:)
Is there a reason, why you use a 3-way highway at the end of the highway exit? It looks a bit weird in my eyes, since only two lanes are used anyway. Other than that, beautiful work as always
Hey Pres, I have a Suggestion for you I was wondering I you can build a small town not so far form the city like they did that small town in watch dogs 1
@@PresCities not really, but I think some small plain areas would look nice y'know? I'm not saying don't put any, but in some places, density can be decreased. Of course its just an idea, its your free will to decide.
Not to self promote but I am starting a Cities Skylines channel. You inspire me same as other Cities Skylines creators. I want to know what mod you use for your road? I have everything else.
Vermont, Maine, Alaska and Hawaii are the 4 states that have banned billboards.
Don't know if those hills in the background are part of the buildable area, but if they are a small ski area would be nice.

In school rn, but I gotta see this!
It is amazing how much new windsor has grown since the first episode. You are doing a great job, keep up the good work pres
Oh my god. Thats fantastic, i can live everywhere in New Windsor. I wish i can plan city like you.

It's great you've filled in the area next to the interchange- now the city centre looks a bit more surrounded from that side!
Now I want to become a patreon again and see the New Belfast Downtown episode :D

Thanks for the final shot of the whole city you've started doing at the end of every episode.
Really helpful bro
I live in western CT. Honestly, this grouping of commercial buildings could be literally any town off 84 from danbury to manchester, it's kind of scary.
2:55 ...except army base! :D
I love this new Windsor marathon also I liked the weather man music, pls bring it back

And i would suggest to buy it when it's on sale, maybe at Easter:D
As long as you don't place really much different houses, you'll have lags but you can still play
Now this is city building!
You should build a monument to someone who either was a hero in the American revolution or the American civil war who came from New Windsor.
there is already a WWI memorial he placed a couple episodes ago
@@brandonkirk5357 that is not what i suggested. Ww1 has no conection to New Windsor.
@@GustafMedF I think he changed it to a armerican revolution memorial
@@enclavecommander5605 oh, Ok
God the music! The build is seriously cookin, quality stuff 😜 keep up the good work ❤️
To clarify, most of the music is chilled, but the Christmas song gave me ptsd flashbacks about secret Santa 🎅 once again awesome work!
I drive on this part of 84 everyday, I work in Danbury
You've outgrown Taser...REALLY!!!😀🙏😍

you know some real good crap's about to happen when he turns of the snapping
The expressway. Lol love this episode. Had to tweet this.
Here in Chicago, I don't think I hear many people say "freeway" either. Most people say highway, tollway (some highways have tolls in Illinois) and expressway, not sure about the rest of the Midwest.
Highway or innerstate in the southern states
In my town we have a old mill that is now used as office space, you could do something like that

Cool shops, but they should probs be facing the highway so ppl driving can see the logo and the store

16:48 HOLIDAY INN. YOU SAY IF YOUR GIRL START ACTIN' UP THEN YOU TAKE HER FRIEND
20:11 Are the cars flying? Haha
I love your series so much I've decided to become a Patron
Thanks for your support! 👍👍
Now this is epic
Since I live in New Hampshire their are billboards on I93 and 101 but there’s very few
And if u need ideas from New Hampshire just ask me I drive around NH a lot

You should put the songs in the description. Otherwise, good episode!
You should make an old rustic train station and make it big
Hi i have an suggestion. Maybe you can make an big modern library?
2:30 Military base confirmed.
Like this city :)
Can you build a amusement park please ?
I'm not sure this is right but I think you are building public transport or Mcmansions.
Are there any forms of public transportation in New Windsor? If not, adding it may help with a bit more realism.
Public transportation? In an American city? Sounds unrealistic :P
make some kind of public high school. Like its made out of brick and packed in a tight area
next ep
I feel like there should be a place with pine trees...
Is there a reason, why you use a 3-way highway at the end of the highway exit? It looks a bit weird in my eyes, since only two lanes are used anyway.

Would you ever make a few farms out in a rural area?
highways and freeways are two different things they don't mean the same thing. Freeways have no stoplights and much higher speed limits.
do you think you could add your customised houses to the workshop?
Why are you playing Christmas music in February
7:40 MOTERWAY
Realy nice, but a bit too much trees for my taste.
When I clicked on this I thought it would be about the one In England
Ive downloaded a list of mods from someone and now whenever I try to build water pipes, they get blocked by the plopped buildings, why?
Make a race/karting track
Your build is amazing, but dude, that's a LOT of trees man. It would look better if you left some plain areas I think.
have you ever been to the northeast

Pres Thank you! I have the Roads United Core but not the other mod.
good vid again! but's what is up with the christmas music dude:P.... well i guess it's oke. just 10 more months after all;)
Here in The U.K its called Motorway.
Why was he playing Christmas music?
Cool! I have no desire to go visit or stay there. Very realistic.
that was the goal
Hello waht is the map name thx 👍 and asset mods thx !
you lied, it was on a Wednesday
Why not a motel 😂😂👍
5:57 are you seriously using christmas music dude its february for crying out loud lmao
