Howdy Howdy. This is Clara Lawrence. I was asked a question from someone on a deadline working on ornaments for some presents. She didn’t have time to order Krylon UV Archival Spray, but could get the Polyacrylic. Will it work to seal alcohol ink? Let’s find out.

Hi Clara, love your ornaments! Beautiful work. Question for you. Did you say that you pour Minwax Polycrylic inside the ornament before you add the 3 glitters to it? If so, how long after you pour the acrylic in before you add the glitter? Thank you.

This has been such a fun series, with such gorgeous results. I'm more interested in what I can do with my alcohol inks now besides petri dish stuff with resin. And I'm very interested in seeing what you do with that masking liquid. That's a new item to me.
I'm glad you liked them. Oh that is good to hear. I want to see what you do. Have fun. The masking fluid was a mistake. That is coming up in another project video soon.
These are so beautiful! Question though: Can you explain your rationale for using the matte spray and then following up with the gloss spray? Would it work to use the same archival spray with a gloss finish?
Thanks. Gloss spray first would reactivate the alcohol inks. Thats why I did both.
I ck out your next 2 videos looking for the boards you showed in this one that you used the masking fluid pen on and didnt see them? really wanted to see what you were doing with them!

How long do you let the coating drain before you put inside whatever you're going to decorate it with
Probably 10 minutes. Any longer then that it will start to dry too fast. Long enough to fill up about 6, swirl them around and lay them out to drain.
