I love these episodes, because they always cause me to examine my life without the regret/nostalgia filter, and i walk away grateful for what I have and who I am. Thanks guys, from a nearly 30 year old kid who's just starting to feel slightly in control of his life.
That section with Mark talking about how SVP gave him confidence and how Big Cat remembered the 1 compliment from Dave is basically the career version of how guys will get a compliment about their physical appearance once and remember for the rest of their life.
Long time listener, first time commenter. I’m 24 years old and this is exactly what I needed to listen to; it’s uncanny how much this relates to me and my life right now and I can’t thank you all enough
their advice is centering a lot on work. ill just say, dont become a workaholic, life is about balance. big cat would have more energy if he didnt eat donuts and went to the gym more. he brags about eating 20 pieces of bread at le bernadin.
it feels like cheating on myself when i stay up to watch the monday episode on sunday night instead of saving it for the work commute. yall really the best in the game and the AWLs appreciate the laughs that get us through the nfl off season.
This pod has really struck close to home with myself personally. Thank you PMT for being there for so many people whether that be for a laugh when your down or great life advice like you’ve shared in this podcast. So thankful that you use the power of your platform for great things like this.
Great life advice man, I’m 24 tryna break into the sports media scene and it’s discouraging at times not getting the results I want. Life’s just beginning and gotta keep grinding. Appreciate you guys.
@@tyler7059 naw I get it gotta be realistic forsure, it’s a hope right now and something to work towards but it’s not the only avenue im gonna go down. It’s a tough field but I’m ready to bust my ass if I need to.
As a 27 year old who’s still finding my purpose and searching for a dream career, this is honestly what I really needed to hear. To anyone who reads this, keep going. Thanks fellas.
Keep going, young fella. I’ve been there especially at your age. In the 9 years since, things are a complete 180. I don’t know you, but I’m rooting for you! 🤟
These eps are the best. They're a good blend of everything the pod offers with a bit more genuine thoughts/takes. As others have said, thank you for being relatable and for the distractions during tough times.
I’m 33 and graduated college 6 months ago. This episode hits a lot of tough adjustments I’ve been going through. All the jokes aside I really got a lot from you boys which is weird bc I usually come here to escape. I guess I owe you guys a thank you. I’ll be an AWL till I die.
Last 6 months have been very difficult mentally. Being able to zone out, relax and enjoy the jokes, perspectives and insights from the PMT crew has been amazing. God bless you fellas
Talking about getting old, had to sign a waiver for my kids to jump at Skyzone. The computer had a mouse but no keyboard. I was getting heated because um kids are inpatient and I couldn't figure out how to enter the information. My 11 y.o. taps the screen and says, "Dad it's a touchscreen." I felt older than dirt 😂
I just turned 21 and abt to finish undergrad in a yr now. Feels crazy getting everything thrown at me within the last yr as I look at potentially grad school and first jobs. It really helps to hear this type of advice
25. Fresh out of college here, working on the 14th floor at on 1 Main Street. It’s fucking surreal and kind of sucks but it’s exactly what I’ve always wanted. Weird how that works. Weed and PMT get me through most days. Love you guys
My first full time job out of college just announced they’re shutting down for good soon. And I’ve been here for several years and, even though I don’t like it, I stick around because it’s easy. So the job talk in this episode has really helped me put it all into perspective. I appreciate this 🙏🏽
This episode hit my heart. I just hit the 35+ demo, got dumped for the 3rd time, and started a new position all in the last week. Feels more like my Russillo 2002. Goddamn.
35, really fucked up till 32 partying trading short term dopamine, for long term success. survived suicide attempt w/ a train, lost my arm. i feel like any chance at success passed me buy, blue collar jobs went out the window. doing what i can, ive found myself as a person, but scared ill never find my niche and be a real success.... proli a weird place to vent but thanks for letting us peak behind the curtains and showing us a bit of your soul
The way I've always described it to single friends is this, the first night my wife takes the kids and I have a free weekend is awesome. The next morning sleeping in and not being bothered, also awesome. By about 2 PM I'm texting my wife asking when they're gonna be home because I miss them and I don't know what to do.
Honestly, between the 4 of them they should make a book based on these segments. Willing to bet the AWL's would absolutely buy it the moment it came out.
56:44 great business model pft, it works fantastic for the military, why can’t it work in the private sector? I’ve given the same pitch to my friends at the bar
Russillo is so funny. “Keep me off of that grocery thread” 😂
I love these episodes, because they always cause me to examine my life without the regret/nostalgia filter, and i walk away grateful for what I have and who I am. Thanks guys, from a nearly 30 year old kid who's just starting to feel slightly in control of his life.
Thank you boys for everything.
I’m in a tough place mentally. Few distractions help. Thanks guys

I still remember when a cute girl in high school randomly said I had amazing eyes. What a thrill that was

Best episode of the year every year.
Life Advice #1 is what introduced me to PMT. Love the shows with RR
Russillo said "Boat" 17 times in this episode. Is his Boat ok?

man.. what a great episode! Russillo and Titus are awesome guests. I learned a lot of valuable and relatable information.
Best time of year. Need these 2x per year! Year end/new years and this June sports lull time.

Early PMT is the key to night shift survival. Shout out boys in the back ❤
These are always some of my favorite episodes - shoutout pft describing an early 20th century coal town as his dream place to live

Big Cats trip of going to cities and just expierencing them is the legit best. Been doing that my whole life and its always the best trips
Just guys talking about life. I love it.
The best episodes are with these four
I really needed this one fellas
This episode hit my heart. I just hit the 35+ demo, got dumped for the 3rd time, and started a new position all in the last week. Feels more like my Russillo 2002. Goddamn.

The story of the ship carrying FDR is quite entertaining! - The Dollop episode 23, the Willie Dee, covers this
I needed to hear all that career stuff today

56:44 great business model pft, it works fantastic for the military, why can’t it work in the private sector? I’ve given the same pitch to my friends at the bar
Needed this
As a 26 year old guy with a lot of confusion and uncertainty still, sadly. Its nice to hear some grown men talk about life like this
I’m 36. Trust me, at your age I was lost completely. Life isn’t perfect, but stay on your grind. Things will come around. Rooting for you!
they are all 10 plus years older than you lol
just skipped forward a bit and landed on PFT talking about beating up 10 year olds. Happy Monday
Casually describing WeWork’s business model was A1 PFT trolling
Pft bonk list all my friends unloading their stress onto me
Russillo and the South of France was awesome
This is beautiful
Wel done boys, we all looking for answers
Big cat seemed a little off beginning of this episode but still always a great way to start the week!
11:06 the Horizontal GOAT
Real cool of them to make fun of Baby Gronks dad asking for a segment on shows by giving him a segment on a show.
Someone fart at 22:06? 😂
Really could turn this into a book.
They did my guy Russillo dirty with that thumbnail
Guess I'm not going to sleep until 1230. Legends
took me too long to realize they weren't just off-topic for a very long time
Anyone else hear a fart at around 22:05 lol
