The epitome of wonderful simplicity along with enchanting piano and harp music. That is the essence of this very well directed piece. It drags in some places, but most all videos of live productions seem to do that. The entire cast is having fun, and that's what Community Theater is all about. The protagonist, Louisa, is portrayed by an actress who is clearly of professional caliber. Overall the piece holds it's age pretty well. However I would imagine some modern day teenage girls might be bewildered, possibly even offended by the gushing behavior of a mid 20th century Louisa; but I'd say all is forgiven by her great singing and acting. A most enjoyable experience.

This makes me so happy. I love the changes made to the words of the abduction song- gives me hope the production will live on . I’ve been listening to the original soundtrack for days and just happened on this video. Very polished performances all around. Amazing accompaniment on piano and harp. Of course Luisa is superlative!❤️😁👌
Excellent! But how could that not have found a better El Gallo. Usually calling a singer Nasaly would be fhe worst thing to say about a singer, but this would be the nicest thing possible for this one.

Luisa is wonderful!❤
I'd love to see the credits to this. This Louisa has a bit more earthiness with her alto belt! Yeah!!!
Harvey Schmidt was an inimitable genius.
She is prefect, he is so-so.

Bottom Right, J.J Abrams

Tell El Gallo to remove the clothespin from his nose.
Now, that’s cruel.
