All of these ‘suggestions’ will never come to fruition. Two reasons are the size of their stadiums and lack of media markets for most. The money ain’t there to take chances.
I don't think we should have any more FBS call-ups. There's already enough teams at that level and we don't want to dwindle the FCS level as well. And, I'd rather go for national championships than a meaningless Bowl win.
You should have mentioned UT Chattanooga and Eastern Kentucky to the Sun Belt conference and No to Richmond in the Sun Belt conference they already have ODU and JMU
You know those adults who just HAVE to win when they play kids, so there they are on Thanksgiving, out in the back yard, stiff-arming their nephews into the dirt? That's NDSU at the FCS level. Go play someone your own size.
Mentioning Montana State and not Montana is wild. Montana is not only one of the most storied FCS programs of all time, but are the big brothers to Montana State WITH A NEAR 2 TO 1 ALL-TIME RECORD. Did you genuinely just Google FCS teams and make this list?
Eventually it’ll be broken up. Look across the FCS landscape the last 20 years. App St was a power house, gone. James Madison power house, gone. SHSU won a title, gone. Delaware won a title, gone. GA Southern and Marshall were power houses in the 90s, gone. Eventually the MAC, Sun Belt, C USA, AAC, or MTW will be desperate and reach out.
I really hope the Montanas and Dakotas DON'T move up. I want to see a league with all 4 Dakota schools, , the 2 Montana schools, Idaho, and one more (Weber State? Wyoming?). That's way more entertaining than seeing NDSU travel to Ohio or Montana State travel to Corvallis for a random game no one cares about at all. Rivaries and regionalism need to matter more than ever beyond the P4 and first couple of G5s. The MAC isn't going to suddenly be great because they added UMASS, all that does is drive up the travel budget for ESPN to MAYBE give them an extra 100k. I think other teams who could join is Montana (good football history and a good partner to Montana State, also UC Davis could be good because they are having an amazing season and could fit in the new MWC.
here me out, have the 3 worse fbs schools play the three best fcs schools in a promotion game, if the fcs team wins, they move up while the fbs school could either stay or drop to the fcs
YSU MENTIOND 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Also it's pronounced StAm-baugh Stadium
All of these ‘suggestions’ will never come to fruition. Two reasons are the size of their stadiums and lack of media markets for most. The money ain’t there to take chances.
Southern Illinois would fit in the SBC or MAC. Wherever SEMO goes, they need to go for the rivalry
We want to see Richmond play in the FBS. Instead, we're gonna see Richmond play in an FCS conference that's worse than the CAA next season.
Hey. Morw attention by the C USA for them to keep dominating and join
Richmond sealed their fate when thy opened Robins Stadium with 8200 seats. And they don't even fill it.
I don't think we should have any more FBS call-ups. There's already enough teams at that level and we don't want to dwindle the FCS level as well. And, I'd rather go for national championships than a meaningless Bowl win.
Please. I know Sam Houston State won a National title a few years ago. And they are pretty much doing fine.
Bro called bowl wins meaningless💀
@@therealtaco7328 Kinda crazy. Bowl wins do propel a team
NDSU is literally the Saban led Alabama teams of the FCS, why leave?
You should have mentioned UT Chattanooga and Eastern Kentucky to the Sun Belt conference and No to Richmond in the Sun Belt conference they already have ODU and JMU
Please have Sacramento State make the leap! Sacramento has tons of talent that would stay once the moved up and got the new stadium !
NDSU, SDSU, and Northern Iowa are all in the Big 12 in wrestling so I would think it would make sense to have them join the Big 12 in Football
Thts a huge jump from FCs to FBs p4 they should start off in the g5
We're (MSU) not going anywhere without the Griz and vice-versa.
You should do the reverse of this video.
Eastern Washington!
This is all about location and money it’s not just as easy as saying let’s move up.
Let’s just leave the Big Sky conference alone. It is really fun to watch just the way it is. Montana State Alum and season ticket holder.
The 12 team MAC from Buffalo to Chicago is perfect.
How bout schools that should move down ?
There needs to be relegation like soccer in the Premier League over there in GBR.
Chattanooga only lost to Georgia state by 3 and they beat Portland state
The only problem is that Chatt will not commit. They would be a perfect Sun Belt (Group Of 5 SEC lol) Conference. There would be built in rivals with GA State, App State, GA Southern, etc.... And of course MTSU in C-USA and the occasional beatdown by their big brothers the Vols in Knoxville. But they would have to commit with resources and stadium and facilities upgrades. But it seems that they are not willing to commit to make that jump. If they did, they could be really good. They are smack dab in the middle of fertile recruiting grounds. Chattanooga is a cool little city to recruit to. If they committed and did it right, UTC could be a Group of 5 powerhouse. And I am a die hard Vols fan. But I root for the smaller Tennessee schools. Memphis should be a Power 4 school definitely.
I think weber state could be one
I know that bro said he didn’t take financials into account but UNI is the most poverty school in the valley. There is zero chance they have the money for the jump
Go Montana State!
NDSU Bison are pronounced "Bi-zen".
none of the fcs teams should move up. stop this college football canibalism
Absolutely RULE FCS or be an also-ran in FBS? The answer is clear. The Big Sky needs to stay the way it is. It's perfect.
Yes, you are crazy!
Why would ndsu go to a conference where they would get their asses kicked on a weekly basis, and with the exception to Sacramento most of those cities have very small airports if any at all so convincing the power 4 conferences members to go to those schools might be a problem unless the towns are willing to expand their existing infrastructure or add new airports and lodging
Both Dakota schools would have to move at the same time. Big 12 watch out
It would be ideal, but they are not tied together.
@@TheAveragejoe333rivalry is why
@@Thomas-wg9lh yeah I understand the rivalry. I’m an NDSU fan. That’s why I said it would be ideal. I still don’t see it as necessary. FBS is more important than the rivalry.
@ rivalry brings in more money. A lot more money than if 1 joined the FBS
They not jumping straight to p4 if they join FBs
Don’t do it just stay at the FCS level and dominate
Youngstown would be a much better addition to the MAC than UMess
Sucks that the MAC is losing N Illinois. UMass helps fill in that lost team.
Chattanooga trust

Lmao SEMO athletics are not on the same level as Mo state. Not with facilities or financials. They might be ranked higher but I would take Mo state in a head to head matchup all day.

I’d throw in Idaho Vandals in if the PAC take a MW team (along with some of the teams in the video)
They already tried FBS, and came back to the Big Sky FCS.
Mercer? Not good enough to compete with power five buttttttttttt
Cuse should move down.
Idaho, Montana State, Montana, North Dakota State and South Dakota State all to the Pac 12.
