The game was competent enough and i played through it back in the day a few times to unlock all the costumes for both characters.

I think there's a lot to like, it just had such a messy execution!
Alone in the Dark 3 was a better effort, although that can't really be called a clone, can it! Haha

That was interesting. I have no interest is playing old Resident Evil style games because a lot of the mechanics just aren’t my thing. Although, I LOVE binge watching videos about them because it’s an interesting time capsule, and they’ll occasionally have a genuinely intriguing premise. Too bad so many of these won’t get a rerelease due to copyright hell, the people making them have since moved on with little to no interest in returning to these, and aside from a niche audience there just isn’t a market for these. It’s sad that these won’t be preserved for old fans and newcomers to try out. It would be awesome if the cost and time to produce games dropped. It would also be cool if Capcom were to license out their new Resident Evil engine to devs wanting to make modern Resident Evil type games. Remakes of these titles could really benefit them.
The voice acting is so bad🤣

Oh, I love checking out these old clones, and seeing what they try to implement to set themselves apart.
There's certainly not enough of a real market for these dead games, at least compared to the effort it would require to re-release them, but Carrier would be a game I'd say could be great with a remake.. but who would approve an old RE clone remake? Haha

Yeah. It’s always interesting seeing how clone games try to set themselves apart. Sometimes it works out good, and other times it sadly bombs out. It would definitely be interesting to see what a modern incarnation of Carrier would be like. Such a shame it will fade away. At least there’s emulation and a lot of companies don’t seem to care about ROMs of abandonware floating around.

@@shreksnow1918 Oh yeah, I don't see anyone coming along with cease and desists over these games, Sega doesn't even do it for their own franchises! Haha

I played this at a cousin's house. A Resident Evil type game with no Shotgun. What in the name of all that was ever sane could possibly make someone think that's a good idea?

      Certainly an odd choice!
It could have been so much more with a bit more time, and probably talent behind it! Haha

I remember my game always crashing on the very last cutscene, lol)
