    I remember being in middle school when this fight happened I was 13 years old didn’t even know about boxing and the technical side of it, just knew I wanted the Mexican fighter to win. • @okachobired5856
      @okachobired5856 Год назад +4

      @Extreme Speed First off Canelo and his camp had months to make and control his weight. Him coming in at 152 lbs is to have a sense of fairness. Floyd walks around at his fighting weight. The most he goes up is 2-3 lbs. If Canelo chose to train and be at 165 or 170lbs then that's on him. Making excuses for an experienced fighter with 40 plus fights is just that, excuses.
      Canelo had enough power to remain in the ring and fight one of the best boxers of his generation. He was dangerous the whole 12 rds. If he got KO'd in the first round you might have a point. What happened was he got outclassed by a better boxer. It caused him to improved his defensive skills and become a much better boxer.

      @nikivory6891 Год назад

      @Extreme Speed the main problem with you is, your hatred for Floyd is so one sided you don't see your own bias. The video that we are literally commenting on has Canelo saying he has been doing the same thing as far as catchweights. Furthermore, if you're so worried about advantages doesn't that mean Canelo having a weight advantage should be used against him if he would have beat Floyd?😂 You're ridiculous and biased without realizing it. You're even complaining about the Pacquiao fight like Floyd didn't call him out when he was at his best. Manny was the one who chose to refuse random drug testing in 2010-2011 but you conveniently blame Floyd because you just don't like him. It would be easier to just say that than all these ridiculous storylines that you only hold Floyd to. To cry about a fighter being weight drained is literally saying you are upset Floyd didn't fight at a disadvantage because BOTH fighters are fighting at the same weight requirements. You sound like an angry casual fan that doesn't really know what they're talking about 😂. It's weird all of you haters talk about Floyd not fighting anyone but can talk about his whole career. Are y'all idiots or something?😂 You could just not watch him. That's always been an option.

    I appreciate Canelo as a fighter. He's definitely a legend in his own right & the current face of boxing. But this revisionist history campaign gotta stop. He was not some greenhorn when he fought Mayweather. Canelo was a 42-0 multi-weight world champion already. Mayweather was in his late prime years at 36. Yea, Canelo hadn't peaked yet but if the fight happened several years later than when it did, then Canelo would've faced an even older washed up version of Mayweather. The fact is, we'll never know for sure who'd win btwn both these guys at their peak. But regardless, they fought. And Canelo got absolutely schooled. Therefore you'd be a fool to suggest anything other than Floyd Mayweather being the superior fighter.

He's the master of wearing opponents down before a fight. There's no point in comparison between Oscar and fake champion Floyd. He won most of his fights off the ring.

I know for a fact that the greatest PPV stars are Conor and Lesnar. Jon Jones got caught doing steroids and drugs. He's canceled.
      Basketball I dunno? Michael Jordan probably, but Larry Bird ain't much behind. NFL is Tom Brady. MLB is Babe Ruth. NHL is Wayne. Soccer is Maradona or Messi or Cristiano. Golf is Nicklaus. Tennis either Rafa or Roger or Nole. Olympics Michael Phelps. Strongest man competition, well tons of white men to choose from. Extreme sports, auto and motor sports same thing.
      Boxing is a great debate but anyone between Harry Greb, Willie Pep, Roberto Duran and Sugar Ray Robinson sounds fair. Boy, you need to learn your position in this world.
