Nice! I got the Stealth Plus and Stealth Irons. Took me a bit to get used to them but pretty happy with them. If you're going to buy new clubs get fit it's usually free so take advantage of it and no need to feel nervous I think the fitters have seen every swing.

It was good to see the fitter combining the fitting was a few swing pointers to improve your game, for me a good fitting always combines a fitting with a little bit of coaching as well👍
During a fitting, I prefer that the Fitter doesn't tell me if a shaft is heavier or lighter, stiffer or less stiff etc. because I have a tendency to react to what the fitter has told me. So it was interesting that Tom was telling you what he was giving you and why, but it defo seemed to work for you👍
Yeah, this was actually very informative in a lot ways. Really solid, easy to understand discussion of the interplay between swing and club.
That fitter did a really a really good job, explaining what he was doing and why, because he saw early on that you reacted well to knowing the why. Love that he threw in a 7w, AND told you the flight is going to get higher and higher as you get used to it. I have a 7w instead of a 4h, and sometimes the flight is preposterous - it almost comes down like a 190-200 yard wedge. Be prepared for that, it's fun when it happens.🙂
Your swing has come along way. It’s looking really good and comfortable.
I always hope that people understand that not all 7 irons are the same when they have their fittings e.g a stealth 7 iron is 28 degrees whereas the P790 (which is also strong lofted) is 31.5. When I get fitted I compare with my club that goes the equivalent distance (e.g a 6 iron) so that I can do a more accurate comparison of e.g. flight, spin, distribution etc to see if there really are gains to be made. Really looking forward to the WITB and seeing how you get on with them : )
Now I want my own fitting. That fitter was so good. The way he explains the science behind the swing.

I am actually looking to do my 1st fitting debating if I need lessons or even a swing anbefore I do. I am in highs 90's but thats with 3+ putting . So that is where I am at. Thanks for the great content keep it up.
I got fitted last year for a p790, and i m loving it, if you dont have get yourself a garmin watch. I have now over 100 games on it and because of it I know all my yardages. x
Played for 20 years, still hardest thing for me is finding the right shaft to match my swing speed, chop and change like my sat night takeaways, fab swing 👌

I love your style. I basically dress like you for my casual times, love big baggy athletic sweaters, but I still throw on traditional collars and shoes at the golf course. People just aren't ready here. Also, great video!
Just watched the part where you hit the 7w. My fitter also said the same thing about me - that I am delofting the club quite a lot, so I needed my clubs slightly weak to get the ball up.

First purchased a mixed P790 (2019) with P770’s but should have went with what i wanted first, which was the P7MB and I love my blades!
Hitting the 2016 M2 driver and SIM 3 wood.
These are the easiest most forgiving clubs I’ve ever hit.and mine are from 2022. I tried to hit a hybrid years ago and couldn’t get more than 3 feet off the ground. I love the Stealths hybrids, so easy to hit. I’m not scared of my 3 and 4 irons anymore…👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I am only halfway through the video but just wanted to leave a comment to say that I had almost exactly the same path with my irons - except rather than the P790 I tried lots of different manufacturers. I eventually settled on the Stealth as well, and I too was amazed that just a different club head could launch the ball so differently! I also suffer the exact same issue as he was describing where you see the 5 iron loft and subconsciously think you have to "lift" the ball up. One thing I would criticise about my fitter is we didn't spend a lot of time looking at different shafts, so I wonder if there is something better out there for me. I just have a regular flex, whatever the standard is that TM sell with the Stealth, think it's KBS Max.

Full toe-hang putter (heel shafted usually) is great for as you say “just putting it in the hole” and not thinking. Just keep your putter haha. The Plumbers neck putters are just a 45 degree toe hang. So, it won’t push as much as face balance, but pushes more than your putter

I used to smash driver pretty well when I got back into golf back in April.
I’m now flushing my irons pure nearly every shot and I cannot for the life of me hit consistent driver tee shots now..

Mizunos for irons are up there but as a overall in all clubs and balls etc the others top it.
I love my TaylorMade Stealth +,P7mb's and P7mc's.....All because of my shaft choice.
Fittings are essential.
Just found your page, enjoy watching people trying to get better and trying to break 80 or 90. I did find it difficult to hear the conversation during the fitting due to the background music.

Stealth Plus and Stealth Drivers are really good. But the Stealth and Stealth Plus Fairway Woods are probably the best products that TM released for 2022.

This was a good video and nice to see how the fitting process goes but I feel it was to much coaching a club fitting should fit your game and not have a fitter change swing etc if that was me personally. A fitting should suit your swing and your game, but a good video all the same 🙂

I personally can’t tell difference between stealth, sim 2 and m2. Same club. But you’ve been using blades so with that and your skills improving it makes a difference I can see than you in your first what’s in bag vid.
