I've lived in Florida for about 3 years now. I moved here from the west coast (from California orginally). I've noticed that in the west we pronounce Adobe "uh-doh-bee". In the east everyone says "uh-dohb". I just find the little differences in the ways Americans from different parts of the country talk interesting. Great vids, Lawson. I know this video is old. I started following you around the time this was made. Love your stuff. You're half my age but I hope I can become half the fisherman you are. Keep up the good work.
Reel talk to the 5 people who disliked the video should go do what they do best, fishing with their zebco push button reels. All of Lawson’s vids deserve a thumbs up. Dude puts in work keep it up
Maximilians Films gotta thumbs down your comment for 1) not reading where it says Skillshare is sponsoring this video, and 2) not knowing that Lawson is legit endorsing the service. Skillshare is amazing.
Kyle Mulley lets be honest you’re the same person running that inshore fishing account spamming Lawson as an avid viewer of Justin Mendez so people will think your videos are legit
Nice snooks mate! It is really calm and very peaceful to fish at night; we love that! You have good light on the boat and your video quality is very good. 👍 When we fish nights in the summer it is usually in shallow spots and we can't use any light, because the fish is swimming away.
Don't get me wrong, the fishing is great... But what sells this channel is your calm and likable personality. Keep it up man 😊 reminds me of @ThresherFishing
Yo Lawson, keep up the good work bro! Youre only at the beginning, in a few months you'll be over 1M Subs with this sick content. Some of the best on YT and im sure most of us can agree. Keep it up!
I love night snook fishing! It's my favorite style of fishing.. Throw a Spooltek and also try a Gambler EZ swimmer along with more Flairhawks.. Love the video! Need more night snook videos!
To catch grouper you can't fish like you do with other fish. You can't let them take any drag, otherwise it will hide under the rocks, and if it happens there is no way to take them out of there. so to fish grouper lock your reel as hard as possible and fight as strong as you can for the first seconds. That's the way.
Those BIG red hawk jigs catch big snook on bridges just keep throwing it! There was an article in FL sportsman years ago about them. I still have some from the 70’s that my grandpa made. Find structure on the bottom by the bridge n retrieve the jig in same direction as the tide n I'm sure you'll get a big one some night good luck n fish ON!
I would really like to see the hudd work out!! Slow rolling is good for catching lethargic bass, so try varying your retrieve and speed it up every so often to get more tail vibration and to act like a fleeing bait fish. When slow rolling, there isn’t too much movement in the tail.
Every time you post a video I stop whatever I’m doing just to watch you fish man.. even my boss tells me it’s that Lawson I say yup.. lol cuz I stop even working..
Lately I've been hitting up alot of ponds and bayous around the 45 south/Pearland area targeting bass, channel cats and carp, which I've been doing pretty good...but my best area would be Sims bayou...recently caught me 60lb blue channel on live mullet
Lawson, check out John Skinner's book called "Fishing the Bucktail". Skinner is the best jig fisherman you could ever encounter and he breaks down the art of fishing the jig to the smallest grain. Highly reccomended by shore based and inshore striper fisherman in the NE.
I notice the green light on the front of your boat and saw an instagram ad recently advertising some green lights that supposedly attract fish at night. Do green lights overall attract fish or are there any advantages or disadvantage using one?
I replied that response on another comment but for some reason it got on this thread. Weird. By the way I don’t speak ebonics or whatever the hell you typed there.

Saw the custom snook jig in the thumbnail... Being from the treasure coast... I had to click asap 💪
Awesome vid bro
How do you fish that jig for snook? I have a snook light i drop and some nights you can see snook so thick you could walk across them
Throwing those Flair Hawks can become expensive. Other than that, they're great. Thanks for the video Lawson.
Thumbs up on the night fishing!
Hi Can you send the link for the Reel and the Rod you use.. Thanks We love your Video.. :)
