Sometimes they just won’t bite. Typically if they see you they will not bite. I’d dishing for them real early in the mornings, evenings or at night. Were you free lining the pinners?
Where are you at man? I live in North Central FL and go all over, mostly Jax, fishing a creek for flounder right now lol. Lookin to beat the heat at night here soon with this summer heat, looks like you got a nice system already.
Here's a good place for you to try and it has every species of snook there is snook Island lake Worth Florida I just got back from there and the only thing you catch them on medium size and large golden croaker
Great video Thonny. I live about ten minutes from these spots and I’m so pumped to hit these this spring. Just ordered a few different Z Man lures and jig heads just based on this video. Of course I got them purple demon DeiZels on deck ready for some monster snook in a few months!

What size reel would you recommend for keeper gags of the skyway
Caleb Anderson 8000 size reel and an extra heavy 8ft rod! 50-100lb or more.
Caleb Anderson conventional is gonna be better than spinning since you can gain more line faster with a conventional reel
I do love snook fishing but I'm 45 mins inland . I wish I was closer to the bay!
@BAMA 1986 Are you saying Texas doesn't have snook and peacock bass or just peacock bass?

Jared Gomez absolutely in open water like the flats. But for bridges I’d go heavier than the 3k
