The twisted trees at 6:14 are called Bristlecone pine. They are the oldest living things on earth. In secretly known locations near you the oldest known at approximately 3700 years old.
Just catching up on your videos besides your IG photos and I seriously can't wait to be up high in the Sierras next year! So beautiful. All I could think watching you is "if you're not out there doing that, are you really alive?" Such freedom. Just incredible!
Been quite worried about you guys, Feathers! LOL! Good to see you all weren't injured or worse! Thought you all had post-holed badly up to your waists! Glad to see you guys are still on the trail! Love the colors of your buff, Feathers! Looks great on you to! Stay safe on all of that crazy snow! LOL!
Where’s the train whistle.. whittling feathers project. Thought the weather may have shut y’all out. Glad to see your still going strong. Stay safe. Enjoying your new videos. I love love love those Twisted Trees. As if to be natures works of art. Thank you for taking us along.
no wolves in CA. one was briefly living in the far north a few years ago, but otherwise not present here in a century. Coyotes sound very similar and are Everywhere
With being in the Sierras and not having a free standing tent, how is it steaking the tent into snow? Mine isn’t freestanding so trying to get knowledge for what to expect. Thanks
Quick, tell these kids that COLD air SINKS.... NEVER camp at the bottom. Camp on ridges. Camp on benches off to the side. Just DO NOT camp at the damned bottom. Freeze your ass off at night and get no sun in the morning so you freeze your ass off in the morning as well when the ridges have SUN and are ~10C warmer

Bad Day At Black Rock is (IMHO) a great movie. The fight scene in the cafe is soooo good!
Glad your back, everyone was getting worried. I see the whistle is gone.
There you go showing off those mad snow stomping skills and mad water crossing skills. Peace, Love and Kindness.

Sure looks pretty up there. Glad you’re hiking with a group of friends. Thanks for the video!
Nice wolf catch. Good to see you have some footwear. Interesting spiral trunks. Wonder if the tree has a wind advantage.
Hello my hiking friend, thank you for another great video. Enjoy the journey. Next you'll be ready for Mt. Everest. Always be safe out there. 🤗
Hey, what happened to the train whistle? Great to see a new video. And Brrrrrrrr! looks cold.
Bumped it ahead...didn't want to startle anyone off any cliffs. Lol
Good thing you finally posted - I was going to call the Lone Pine Sheriff's office today if we did not see anything from you.
Good hike lady! 🌻

Nice gaiters 😁 Do they keep your feet and legs drier or are those shoes still too breathable to make a difference?
How many times have you kicked your ankle with those crampons ?
You only make that mistake once! 😱🙁
