Okay no offence to you in any way but the only reason why Ash even saw Sal’s face was because she literally lifted his mask up without consent. It was a really shitty thing for her to do and the reason why A LOT of people ship Travis and Sal is because Travis canonically has a crush on Sal. The whole reason as to why he bullied him was due to his internalized homophobia which was caused by his father, does it excuse it? Absolutely not but it does explain his actions. Travis was the one who killed the cult leader (his own father) there was nothing he could do to save Sally, it wasn’t like they were close. So the ship is completely one sided but people can still ship it. It’s not a crime, unlike Larry and Sal because that ship is just an abomination. It’s fine to dislike a ship but don’t bash on people for shipping it especially since it isn’t illegal to ship them together. One last thing, Ash has never actually said she liked Sal or not.
