    Another gusset fan here. (And don’t get me started on godets.)
    Would love for an update on this find discussion with inserted still photo images in yarn & lighting that shows better the examples that illustrate your points.
    Would be a useful contribution to collective knowledge of the digital generations.

    Thank you for talking about gussets in knitware. I have no idea why I haven't thought about shaping in that maner before. I have sewn a couple of "traditional" scandinavian shirts, that have gussets and the ease of movement is awesome. Strange how we have left out functional ways of making clothing, and are comming back to it through sharing thoughts online.

    Are you choosing the pattern size for your full bust and still knitting the gusset, or choosing a smaller size and adding the gusset to make up the bust difference?

      The people is one size so I didn't have to make that choice for this one ; ) otherwise depends on the construction / design, but it's a solid bet to choose the size that best fits my shoulders / upper chest then wiggle things around a bit with the gusset
