it does not count as cheating till they ask are you in a cop car FIRST then you switched. but since you switched before you are good.
@Escondam "Dapper are you in a cop car"? Dapper answers, "NO" as it was a sheriff"s car, not a cop car. All true statments, and not cheating.

@@ducewags Cop car is a child's way of identifying a police vehicle. Doesn't exactly matter if it says Sheriff or Police on its side. It's a cop car.
I feel like "Cop Car" should be a mini-classification that holds both Police and Sheriff cars. Meaning, if in one, and asked "are you in a cop car" both would result in a yes. But that if in a Sheriff car, and asked "are you in a Police car" the answer would be "no".
I like the idea of allowing switching, with the only caveat being that if you switch, you can only switch to something that still meets the clues you've given
that'd also mean the seekers can basically lock somebody into a particular car or type of vehicle by asking questions about it
Or if you switch, you have to start giving out new information every say 30 or 60 seconds? So if you start with a white car then switch to a black truck, you then say "Now I'm black" or "now I'm a truck".
Adding car chases to these videos would be nice. A rule to make it work could be something like "Once found, the hider has to be stopped/hit/something"

i think you should be able to swap but lose the ability to swap from or to something based on whats been asked such as if you're asked if your car has more then two doors and you answer no you can't swap to anything with more then two doors and if you answer yes you can't swap to anything with less then to doors, if you're asked if your in a cop car and you answer yes you can't swap to a non cop car if you answer no you can't swap to a cop car, if you're asked if your in a white car and you you say yes you can't swap to anything that isn't white if you answer no to can't swap to anything white you get the idea, this would let you still swap cars but limit it as the game goes on.

I think permitting switching until questions is the best solution. It protects from accidentally ruining clues.
If the switch was before any asked questions then it should be legal.

I say switching before the first clue is given is fine. Once the first vehicle-specific clue is given, either no switching or only switching to a vehicle that still matches all the answers you've given.
With the black sedan, it was obvious once Dapper was behind him because the small adjustments he was making while driving to drive "straight."

I think you should be allowed to change vehicles. HOWEVER, at the next tip question section, you have to re-answer all the previous questions while letting them know you've changed vehicles.
Doesn't that defeat the purpose of changing vehicles? Well, the purpose of the questions/hints is to help them narrow down what you're driving, so changing vehicles does go against that. It's only fair you re-answer all the previous questions to balance it out.
If you re-answer all the previous questions then you lose all advantage of switching in the first place.
@@terryjones573 I mean, that's kind of the point. The hunter is building up a profile of the car you're driving, only for you to be able to scrap all that information with a simple car exchange. It's horribly imbalanced towards the person hiding. There needs to be some concession made to the hunter to balance that out.
Like, if all the answers were originally pointing towards you were driving a school bus, and you swapped to a sports car, suddenly all your answers don't match the previous answers. Even if you tell them you've swapped cars, you've essentially "reset" any progress they've made in trying to find you.
@@aaron-hsu86 But you DON’T really get to scrap all that info if you’re just going to hand them all the exact same information about the new car. It puts them right back in the exact same position: not knowing where he is, but knowing a bunch of info about the car.
@@terryjones573 That's kind of the point. The Hunter gets more questions because they're already having difficulty finding you. Ultimately, they still have to find you. You could be driving a school bus, but if you're parked in a parking lot filled with school busses, they still have to figure out which bus you are in.
==Rule Ideas==
Seekers can't change vehicle without announcing it.
Seekers should ask visual questions, such as "What can you see??", "What NPC Vehicle is nearest you to you.", "How recently did you see one of us??"
Seekers could also ask Hider vehicle questions. Like you've been doing. (Risky due to following)
Hiders can switch vehicles. (Maybe a 1-minute per switch time limit??)
Seekers can either both ask a question, or ask 1 every minute instead of the current timeframe. (Or both)
Could try this ruleset (With variations as deemed necessary.)
Also, could run hide-n-seek in different areas other than this one town.
Lastly, alternative playstyle... Zombie. Players discovered join the search for the other players.
EDIT: Could have Seekers request a horn from Hiders every 5 minutes.

"What can you see?" is a terrible question, way too vague.
Might as well just ask what type and color of car they're in.
What hide and seek has going for it is that you can watch all three player's prespectives and it only gets better with each one instead of boring
I watched it all again :D Please keep making more of these hide and seeks Dapper! they're really fun to watch
Are players able to go offroad? Because hiding under one of the bridges looks like a fair method if it's possible.
Switching should only be allowed if the hint criteria is met.
Dapper you should be a cop car and then start chasing the seeker, that would permit you to drive statically and they would think it was ai.
A few suggestions for the future.
"Prison Break"
two chasers (in cop cars)
one runner
Chasers know how the runner looks
free run and car swap allowed
Chasers have to touch the runner to capture them
If a chase starts you are allowed to drive out of the city too.
Chasers have 10 minutes to find the runner.
Best way to win any game is to change the 'rules' as you're playing!

Maybe a set timer to win or lose
And set a time before the police get the call to go go go...
I don't know if you can place a box in or on a car...
a good question would be are you a primary colour? that would tell you if hes red, blue ore yellow
Just make it so you can switch up to the first clue

If you wonder what vehicle he's driving then why don't you ask about a particular vehicle and narrow it down with the first hint

Yea, I mean since it's a friend game you can judge it on case by case, for me I like the idea of the questions limiting the car type, would depend entirely on the questions asked

I know I’ve come to this late so you may not see this but why not allow 1 vehicle change after maybe the halfway point of time?
Means you gotta think more about what Qs you’ll ask if they could be turned on their heads at the mid-point
Do you guys have GTA 5? Could do this on a private server there too. Though not as family friendly I suppose
I think switching is a cool idea if you make sure it doesn't contradict a hint you gave. I.E. if you say you're in a blue car, you have to find a different blue car. If you say you're in a service vehicle you can switch to another one. If you say you're in a cop car, then you can switch to another cop car. That way the hints are valid but there's some added *spice*
Correction the worlds fastes production car changes a lot. The bloodhound ssc went 1000 miles an hour but the trust ssc has the guinness world record at 763 miles an hour.

Why is there no time limit? The hider never wins.
The hider ALWAYS wins, because you win by staying hidden longer than the others
@@Hourglass36 Time limit is a no brainer here. It’s not hider vs hider it’s hider vs seeker and right now there is no way for the hider to win.

@@MotoDash1100 Yet again, as they stated, it isn't a hider vs hider, it is a hider vs seeker. A time limit is needed because then you can't win as an actual hider. It's called hide and seek for a reason not who can outsmart the seekers longer.
