This game got me through a tough time where I had no job, and no place to live. I had some clothes, an xbox, and a handful of games for it including this one. I had to move back in with my mom. I looked for a job during the day, and played the shit out of this game at night. I lived on frozen burritos and ramen because I didn't want to be a burden on my mom. Happy to say I'm working and got a place of my own again.

In my head canon, due to the Marker's influence, Isaac was trapped in a Groundhog Day or Edge of Tomorrow situation. Every time he was killed by a necromorph, he found himself in the USG Kellionand had to start all over again. He died horribly hundreds of times, but instead of going mad he became an unstoppable badass. This video is from when he finally managed to kill the Hive Mind, ending the loop.
I think this is a good story, but what if Isaac was just... like that, and the CEC accidentally made the galaxy’s best soldier into an engineer, and this was Isaac’s chance to finally use all that talent and destruction.
I wanted to have enough power nodes to be able to max the contact beam as soon as I was able to buy it in chapter 4 so I would`ve wasted *a lot* of money if I decided to max the plasma cutter which I`ll never use so at least investing into the alt fire of the line gun was worth it lol:P

I 100% dead space and dead space 2 and got every achievement on the 360 on both of them as they came out. That being said I cannot imagine the dedication it took to do this run and take no damage at all. Finally convinced a friend to run dead space 3 with me after getting him into the series. Cannot wait go 100% it as well. Mad props for this video! Dead space is the best series EVER!

That part was just absolutely insane!! I almost don't get it. He shot every single piece of debris, without losing a single percentage of hull integrity??? That seems impossible, as if he was able to slow the debris down and keep it at a distance. When I play that part, it's as if someone's throwing a full bag of candy m+m's in my face, and I have to shoot every piece 4 times, to keep them from hitting me!! edit: Unbelievable. He did it again with ADS cannon 48, later in the game and killed that big, tentacled creature with 100% hull integrity!! Unreal !!!
@Gokumann12 Pretty much it's possible to hit them right after they spawn. If you more or less control the zone where normally they aear then it's piece of cake. I don't have much trouble with this one, however with cannon 48 it's a different story, I barely do it without taking a hit, I can't make it work consistently unless I play it over and over until I get used to it. For me this game can be exploited quite a bit if you know the spawn and respawn locations of the enemies and use the Line Gun properly, it's quite rewarding to use a mine and kill 4-5 enemies like that. For black enemies the Contact Beam is just OP.
But jokes aside ishi can mean " stone" and its used as a girls name , but mura can mean " village" or " failure , variability" so...stone village sound more appropiated? or maybe the failure part set in stone like a hint about what would happen? idk.
The tutorials for this game are RIDICULOUS and always make me chuckle. Not kidding there’s 3 “dismember enemies to cause more damage” messages about 5 seconds apart from each other.
don`t let the footage confuse you. I just played without all the extra effects to get a better frame rate otherwise the game looks pretty without any mods. this video in 4k 60 fps would`ve been raw insanity (same goes for DS2 & DS3)

Ok this whole thing is insane, but the thing that really got me was the asteroid cannon. Do you have every location of every asteroid memorized or are your reactions really just that amazing?! Either option is mind blowing. That was hands down the most finicky, frustrating part of the game for me, and you could just FEEL how easy it was for you. Awesome stuff.

This is the only horror game I keep coming back to again and again. The story was perfect and terrifying, and the characters and voice acting are flawless. The original Dead Space is like Halo 1 in terms of perfection. What made it so scary was that you're alone basically the whole game except for a few short interactions with Kendra and Hammond throughout ship, and you're having to fight the necromorphs in the claustrophobic confines of a deep space mining ship. Very little room to maneuver. I thought Condemned was as fucked up as a game could be until this dropped. I gotta say though, I've played through the first game at least a hundred times, no lie...and I never knew about the bookcase you could move out of the way to get to lockers on medical deck. Very intriguing!
This is absolute genius. The confidence. Wow. I genuinely feel sorry for the necromorphs. They're doing all their jump scare schtick and just dying preemptively. "BOO!" turns into "BOOM!"
I love how one of the tendrils will burst out or a big boss monster will attack and the music goes super dramatic, but you just one shot it. Makes it look so easy!
honestlee the tentacle monstrositee in chapter 10 has *a lot* of health so I wasn`t sure if I was going to be able to prevent him from touching me but in the end it turned out that he couldn`t handle the damage lol:)
well in order to get good you need to replay every chapter (separate checkpoints etc) and look for good strategees so I don`t think replaying the whole game over & over would be particularlee productive lol:P
Soooo this is late but I noticed something: The game already told you how to kill necros before the narrating voice does. The way the necro in the elevator died...it was split apart. Its limbs went flying. Maybe I'm seeing into it too much but it seemed like a really subtle way to show you how they died.
Can't tell you how many times I've watched your Dead Space franchise play throughs. It's like a comfort watch now. I'd be excited if you ever get around to uploading the remake.

don`t let the footage confuse you. I just played without all the extra effects to get a better frame rate otherwise the game looks pretty without any mods. this video in 4k 60 fps would`ve been raw insanity (same goes for DS2 & DS3)
+ATTACK I`m pretty positive that aiming has never been required to be able to perform a reload animation in neither of the Dead Spaces

Ok this whole thing is insane, but the thing that really got me was the asteroid cannon. Do you have every location of every asteroid memorized or are your reactions really just that amazing?! Either option is mind blowing. That was hands down the most finicky, frustrating part of the game for me, and you could just FEEL how easy it was for you. Awesome stuff.
On console that part is a mudderfuggen bitch. On pc I imagine it's a lot easier

the chapter 8 cannon part is very difficult to no damage which is why I saved before I touched it lol:)
@@iNLovE92 It's way harder on controller though. I only ever died on it once but it's still a massive pain in the ass but nowhere near as hard on PC and now I can do it first go on PC. I like what they did with the remake though :D
This game is so well done. The gameplay, storytelling, Voice action, Sound design etc.
It’s repetitive and the storytelling actually is kind of wack imo lmao, but everything else is masterful fr. The atmosphere and locations feel like a terrifying art piece.

Classic easter egg
This is the only horror game I keep coming back to again and again. The story was perfect and terrifying, and the characters and voice acting are flawless. The original Dead Space is like Halo 1 in terms of perfection. What made it so scary was that you're alone basically the whole game except for a few short interactions with Kendra and Hammond throughout ship, and you're having to fight the necromorphs in the claustrophobic confines of a deep space mining ship. Very little room to maneuver. I thought Condemned was as fucked up as a game could be until this dropped.
I gotta say though, I've played through the first game at least a hundred times, no lie...and I never knew about the bookcase you could move out of the way to get to lockers on medical deck. Very intriguing!
This is absolute genius. The confidence. Wow. I genuinely feel sorry for the necromorphs. They're doing all their jump scare schtick and just dying preemptively. "BOO!" turns into "BOOM!"
I usually never watch any gameplay (or any gameplay at all) from the games i've played before, but you sir, you're a master.

honestlee the tentacle monstrositee in chapter 10 has *a lot* of health so I wasn`t sure if I was going to be able to prevent him from touching me but in the end it turned out that he couldn`t handle the damage lol:)

well in order to get good you need to replay every chapter (separate checkpoints etc) and look for good strategees so I don`t think replaying the whole game over & over would be particularlee productive lol:P
The precision, the prediction, and the timing it' s mindblowing and it's incredible.
Soooo this is late but I noticed something:
The game already told you how to kill necros before the narrating voice does. The way the necro in the elevator died...it was split apart. Its limbs went flying. Maybe I'm seeing into it too much but it seemed like a really subtle way to show you how they died.
Can't tell you how many times I've watched your Dead Space franchise play throughs. It's like a comfort watch now. I'd be excited if you ever get around to uploading the remake.

I loved this game SO MUCH! I could watch someone else play for hours... Wait a minute.. "COULD WATCH"? I DID watch! For HOURS! This is TRULY amazing game play! Kinda humbles me after I barely made it through HARD MODE and thought I was good at this game! This is just TRULY phenomenal game play! I cannot understand HOW ANYONE could do this! Now I have to face the realization that there are some things that I will NEVER understand! I'm glad I watched all of this though. It makes me want to play Dead Space again soon. It's gonna be fun all over again!

This is such an incredible run. Brain surgeon-like precision and amazing confidence. I love how a lot of the time it's fire and forget. It's also incredible how the ominous ATTACK music starts, and this cat has already killed the enemies the music is introducing.

I love the symbolism of this game. Notice how it's the fanatical cult leader who destroys Cross and Temple in the service of what is clearly hellish and demonic. Even Kyne and Mercer sound like twisted versions of mercy and kindness. It even takes place among the stars, which the ancient Hebrews said represented angels (Elohim). Aegis was the shield of Athena which caused evil to flee on terror, and 7 represents the number of divine completion.
