You know what's crazy, I literally had a random thought a week or so ago thinking "I wonder if a Templar ever converted to Islam" and sure enough I found this very man lol.
Also a little note, it wasn't just Jews and Muslims in the city of Jerusalem when the crusaders took it. There were Christians who were majority orthodox (some Catholics) that were also massacred.
Some of the villages the crusaders pillages on the way to Jerusalem were orthodox villages in the Byzantine borders, and this is partially why the Crusaders weren't allowed access to Byzantine lands on future crusades.
On the topic of the Byzantines, they actually congratulated Salahuddin on retaking Jerusalem and requested he convert the numerous catholic churches and symbols back to Orthodox as they were originally, which Salahuddin accepted.
People often misrepresent the crusades and "Christianity vs Islam" when it was really "Catholic Europe vs Everyone Else"

"Convert Catholics back to orthodoxy as they first were". Lmao Constantinople split from Rome and not the other way around.
Also the full name of the "Orthodox Churches" always, till this day included "Catholic" as in Holy Orthodox Catholic Apostolic Church or Orthodox Catholic Church.

@@DostIt is not wrong to inherit one through teaching of Prophet Muhammad SAW throughout the authentic process, if you can't respect his best friend and caliph of ummah on that time, how do you think you can respect a sect where they are appropriating Saidina Ali AS greater than all the other best friend not as an individual but as an entire social religion?, You can't mix bad water with good water as it won't become a pure water. Basically, Sunni has their right to not associate with Shi'as as they are against Islamic value. It's like Kaffir trying to mix with Islam. Hope that answers your question.

With clear signs and Books (We sent the Messengers). And We have also sent down unto you (O Muhammad SAW) the reminder and the advice (the Quran), that you may explain clearly to men what is sent down to them, and that they may give thought.
      Quran 16:44
The prophets hadith are the sunnah
And whoever contradicts and opposes the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) after the right path has been shown clearly to him, and follows other than the believers' way. We shall keep him in the path he has chosen, and burn him in Hell - what an evil destination.
      4:115
This is the warning for those who contradict the hadith and the Ijma and principles of Ahlus Sunnah
There is no leaving of division except through joining the main body of the muslims who was upon the correct way on the time of the prophet salallahu alayhi wa salam.
The deviant groups left the straight path for the crooked ones and it is them who are causing division.
The hadith of the 73 sects is well known:
“My ummah will divide into 73 sects, all of them will be in the Fire except for one, and that is the Jamā’ah.” It was said, “And who are they, O Allah’s Messenger?” He (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) responded, “That which I and my Companions are upon today.”[1]
Tirmidhī, no. 2641; Ibn Nasr al-Marwazī in As-Sunnah, no. 59; Al-Hākim in al-Mustadrak, 1/218; Al-Ājurrī in ash-Sharee’ah, no. 23; Al-Lālikā’ī in Sharh Usool al-I’tiqād, no. 147; Ibn Battah in al-Ibānah, no. 196; and many others. It has support from the hadīth of Anas reported by Tabarānī in Al-Awsat, no.7840; and in As-Saghīr, no. 724; It has been authenticated by a large body of scholars from the past and present, alhamdulillāh.
There were no shia at the time of the prophet.

A person was charged with fornication with the slavegirl of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). Thereupon he said to 'Ali:
Go and strike his neck. 'Ali came to him and he found him in a well. 'Ali said to him: Come out, and as he brought him out, he found that his sexual organ had been cut. 'Ali refrained from striking his neck. He came to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and said: He has not even the sexual organ with him.

There was a Cornish sailor who joined the Corsairs, raiding European coasts for slaves to sell in North Africa. He became quite rich and lived the life of a King in Tripoli, trading Christian slaves to the muslims. Over 1,000,000 slaves were abducted from Europe and the Devshirme took a levy of Christian slaves to serve in Mamluk armies for generations. The Mughal empire imported 17,000,000 Africans to serve as Eunuchs in Mamluk armies in India.

I always respected Salah Al Din's decision to let the inhabitants live and ensure a safe pilgrimage for all religions. As an aside, I would be interested to see a video on how the Ummah can be united better than ever because even during Salah Al Din's time I believe he had something over 30 battles with Muslims and less than 5 with Christian crusaders. Basically, even during one of the most united times in the Muslim world, it was still subject to a lot of infighting. It feels like OPEC has been the last time the Arab world has unified on anything, so perhaps this could be built on?

      Sorry brother but
      - Mogul burned baghdad and threw all the books in the euphrate, which led the river to be black from the ink so no mogul is not good at all, we lost so many knowledge because of ignorant kufarr.
      - Turkish are not initially from middle east, they're from region (now known as Khazakstan) and they came fighting the perse and destroying everything, even if they became muslim, they had multiple things that a true muslim wouldn't do, having for exemple what we call a Harem, multiple sex slaves and the sultan can just oblige in everyone he wants.
      - Umayyad was a very bad caliphate, Yazid was a tyrant and he killed the family of the prophet which is a part of the split in Islam between Shia and Sunna.
I could continue further but none of those three was good, they're really bad actually.

Here in Indonesia we used to have many sultanate well known here before they formed the country of Indonesia. We had thousand of war against the european and won most of it. Did you know the story that rumi lost his teacher shamsul of tabriz... He went to sultanate of ternate, back then have a vast kingdom 1/3 of pacific, all the sultanate conformed to the caliph in istanbul, did you know ali ibn abu thalib the Rasulullah cousin went to the sultanate of barus in 26 year of hijrah, and spread Islam. My ancestor from barus, did you know that the pharaoh needs the chalk to preserved the dead pharaoh, even the prophet sulaiman/solomon get the gold from barus.
Lots of thariqah here. The sheikh Yusuf Maqasari was feared by the european, did you know the bogeyman that terrorise the american kids if they dont go to sleep... Its then the bugis sultanate fighter whom never yield to the european.
I like history and I like to share with you freely. Insya Allah.

You have great short videos, with unique topics and very ethical and captivating titles. You didn't use title that could mislead, or a riddle title and when you click on the video you find non-interesting info like many of other videos unfortunately some of them are muslim videos who copied from non-muslims how to trick people's mind.

But thank you for the advice
