- We got Mike's @Street Speed 717 car back to get some general maintenance done on it. But that wasn't all. We also made some slight modifications to his car and tuned it, so that its making even more horsepower now! Now the car is making over 900 whp! Watch out....
Great chop on that cam. This thing gets USED and wins races. Love the build. Great work LMR!

LMR is the shop...G Customs z06 went there and beat Donkmaster at State Capitol....cars are fast when they leave from there!!
There are good shops in most areas. LMR gets alot of ink.

Does anyone know what the gearing is like in the manual zr1? I bet its even longer geared than this one. Thats so bad ass but I wonder how crazy it be to drive a 750hp zr1 with short gearing. Like a 40mph 1st 65mph 2nd 90-95mph 3rd and 120mph 4th. That would be sick. Car would probably just spin but it would so badass. This car looks like it can do 160mph in 4th

Wow long gears for 7 speeds. Damn thing did 110mph in 3rd. Thats pretty crazy for a 7 speed sports car. Definitely works well with 1,000hp but id imagine this car stock might be a little long geared for my liking. Probably does 75ish in 2nd. That means to redline 2nd, you’re speeding in pretty much any road in America. Not really fun to not be able to bang gears without going insanely fast. I mean i get it these crazy 700 horsepower cars need the longer gearing but it does take the fun out of banging gears around in the street. Thats why i like 500-600hp manual cars with short gears. Much more fun to drive in the street

Only dudes I would let touch my ZR1. Mike was pretty much the tester guy, and I think after the way he drives it and for that many miles these guys know their s#&* for sure!
Did it leave the shop on the 109 tune or was it pulled back down to the 93 tune?
No way mike is buying drums of 109 just to drive the zr1. Its on 93 id put money on it.
I don’t understand why he doesn’t run E85. It’s damn near the same thing as the 109
@@matthewbrown1760 You need a massive amount of flow for E85 blends. E85 generates less energy per volume, so you need more of it to make the same power as 93 or MS109. Mike may not have the fuel system setup for E85 and the mapping will have to be adjusted also. E85 works great but there are many variables to consider
Eric Wilson especially on direct injection engines I think it’s much more pricey to upgrade the fuel system
Calan yes I have the upgrade and it was around 5k. Eric, E85 does burn a lot more than pump gas but the cost is comparably less. Does MS109 burn comparable to pump gas? I know I can run the MS109 in my ride as the fuel sensor will compensate but I have not done it yet.

People just don’t understand how fast a 900whp auto vette is. Randy is only going to be making 850 whp . It is lighter than the zr1 but it is a manual and the zr1 has way more tq and mid range which really wins roll races not rpm. Mike will walk it then he will have more sarcastic excuses again.
LMR are so good but way to expensive for me lmao,there are 10 min from my house and I always pass by and see crazy-ass builds

Let's see the average speed limit in the U.S is 75 mph. A typical ticket of 20 mph over the speed limit with get you a trip to a jail cell for criminal speeding waiting to bond out. Insurance doubles. Unless your competing on the drag strip what's the point. Back in the seventies and sixties agreed this was a blast but not anymore. You already broke the law in this video twice and if the local cops get ahold of it expect a knock on the door sometime soon.

@@benrettig1925 Mike said he was going to change the front tire from 255/35r19 to 275/35r19 and with also a change to 325/30r20(looks like thier is room and a simple recalibration of the speedometer and odometer) R888R's from 315/30r20, oh well ...😕

I think car dealership shouldn't make old models one year before new model, I'd be pissed if i bought a 2019 Corvette then the 2020 was revealed at end of year. Same shit happened with my 2015, this the 6 gen got released at end of year. Ugh

I tried calling LMR all week long and spoke to JASON 3 separate times to try to get a quote and schedule a time to drop my 2003 Z06 off at LMR in Houston, TX for a LS7 swap.... He kept saying he'd call me back, but NEVER did. I gave up and made an appointment with Ragin Racing and the crate engine is now being drop shipped to them as I'm typing this. I hope MIKE has better luck getting maintenance after the sale...than I did on a quote ;(
After further talks with Ragin Racing, I decided to also buy an A&A kit to install at the same time as the LS swap.
Without a FULLY built motor, 650-670 rwhp is all is pushing max. 900 whp with his right foot and it wont last long. But I guess when your a $100k-200k a year lazy youtuber what do you expect. The $ is there to build it. But hey what are guinea pigs for, lol.
Zr1 engine can handle 1000whp stock . 850-900whp is a sweet spot .

It’s going to be interesting. CCX has a 100 lbs lighter, but it’s a stick shift. It’s going to be close. I have a friend with the same modifications as Mike. He makes 1010 at the wheels. Randy better be making 1100 or more. He has to shift.

@@dR-bh9kt Randy is not the fastest manual shifter. Watch him race with any of his manuals and it's hard to watch. His shifts are so slow. It's like his car goes backwards when he shifts.

NYNM they probably mixed 93 with E85 for it to mix to 109 Octane lol, hence the long start ups we heard in the video.
