Great job on the wrench, it looks fantastic! I’m a fan of the older S-K tools but I definitely like Proto as well. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of those either. Glad you got the drill press squared away, that thing is beautiful!
Fantastic job om the proto wrench i have a bunch of wrenches to do the same too right now i am working on a 60s craftsman box i am restoring at the moment,
Instructions? Real Men don't read those😅 fantastic job on the proto...igoing to dig thru that box ya sent for my bottle of .magic spray...I have always wanted a bigger tool 😳😅😳😅😳 kidding aside...thank ya for your kindness your awesome Brother Dave!!
Love your comment about going further than you had intended. As you also stated, it’s therapeutic. That’s why we do what we do. Another great video. Thanks! (Thanks for the drill press update, as well).
Thanks Douglas, and most everything in the shop at this point in my life is therapeutic! If I don’t enjoy it, I just simply don’t do it! Thanks for watching.
Thank you and you are correct. 10 lbs doesn't sound heavy but try t hold it up, keep turning and moving, sure seems a lot heavier! 😂 One of the reasons I ended up hand finishing a lot of it. Thanks for watching.
That turned out wonderfully. I have some large pipe wrenches, but I don’t think I have anything that size in an adjustable wrench. Thank you so much for sharing and hope you have a great week.
You've got that absolute monster looking great! Without question you are definitely ready to change the spark plugs on a US Navy destroyer with that thing!
Thanks! As I was cleaning it up, I wondered what someone would use such a large adjustable for....Well now I know, plug wrench for a destroyer! 😁😂😎 Thanks for watching.
Great restore Dave! That's a deep rabbit hole that keeps snagging everyone - how far do I take it?! You are right too - sanding, polishing etc. & getting the hands dirty is therapeutic!
That is a really cool wrench. It did turn out nice. Do you think that spray works on everything? If so, I will have to find some 😅. Glad you got the spring set up on your drill press.
Thanks Ryan, boy don't I wish on the spray. I'm impressed with the community here that all the comments left that alone or were very clean! 😁😂🤣 Thanks for watching brother!
That's called a "Freddie" wrench. One summer I was working mostly steel stud and drywall and there was an old laborer/cleanup guy named Freddie. One of the other guys told me years earlier Freddie had worked at Ford on an assembly line and the foreman was always pushing these guys, Freddie snapped and bashed him in the head with a huge wrench almost killing him. I guess the other guys hated the foreman too so they would drop off a few bucks and food for Freddie until he could get a new job. Today I think Freddie might do time for something like that.
That thing is beautiful David. Super nice job! I wish I had your patience - your work is always inspirational.
Thanks Bill, appreciate you being here. Funny you say that about my patience, I try and edit out all of my non-patience moments.😁
Wow! Looks great Dave! Nicely done sir
Thanks Ivan! It was a fun little project for sure.
That wrench looks fantastic David. It's a perfect job. thanks for the shout out and I will be getting some of those plastic bag. Great video David.
Thanks Dale. Here's a tip. Hide the bags from the wife, mine already grabbed some and claimed them for herself! 🤣🤣🤣
@@westhighlandsshop Thanks for the tip Dave. I can see that could be a problem.
Nice cleanup, looks real nice! 👍
Thanks Frank, I was pretty happy with the outcome. Appreciate you being here.
That big wrench was a big job! You shoulda polished her up when she was small and then hit her with the grow spray!
I was waiting on that comment! 😁🤣 Thanks for watching Magdad!

Nice job on the wrench - probably one of the largest I have seen.
Thank you very much. I have seen a 20", don't own one, but I will next time I see it. This was the first 24" I had seen out in the wild!

Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Was very relieved the drill spring was so easy!
Excellent work! That was a hefty piece of equipment to wield around on the sander and buffer. Nicely done! 😀👍

The wrench turned out great! Almost too nice to use. I have one question. My wife wants to know of your magic spray only works on metal. 😄
Thanks Kevin, appreciate you watching, and tell the wife sorry...........🤣🤣
That dale is one F@RT smeller, I MEAN, Smart feller!!!!!!
Agreed! Thanks for watching Andy
Too nice now to use on an old greasy piece of equipment, you might scratch it! It's a wall hanging now, I suspect. 😁
Definitely a wall hanger. Not sure I even want to work on anything at this point in my life that would require the beast! Thanks Dave.

I can't imagine being wacked in the head with this thing and walking away! Thanks for watching and sharing.
Make a display case and hang it on a wall.
Thanks! It's actually on the wall already, but the display case is a great idea too! Thanks for watching
