That was terrific, ladies! Before I go on, I have to pounce on your camera guy for a quick second. Right out of the box, he had the camera way too close and did not capture the twinkling star effect at the very beginning, that ALL of the girls making with their hands. It's such a cute and clever intro that missing it, to me, is kind of a big deal. So in the future, I would have that guy or whoever, be sure not to miss everyone's "twinkling" hands. So anyway, your choreo was looking pretty darn good. I love that you all wore coordinating outfits in blue tones like those in the official XG video and that you fashioned your hair in similar styles or wore headwear like the members you were portraying. Of course, no one was expecting Mona to replicate Cocona's specialty headpiece, so just doing the hairstyle worked very well. Just like when I watch official music videos, when I watch cover dances, I take notice of who were my favorites. You all did a great job, but in an effort to narrow down to just one, I had to juggle and weigh out my 4 faves, which wasn't easy. In the end, I chose, Em, who played, Harvey. Not only was her dancing clean, like others, but I felt like I was watching Harvey, because Em really embraced Harvey's elegant and graceful feminine vibe in her dancing and head movements. Finally, I have one question. Why did Alina, who played, Juria, not sing her big notes toward the end, starting at 3:03? She lip synced Juria's other lines but didn't do the most explosive part. I'll admit, I was a little disappointed. Probably because I love watching the videos that show more of Juria on that part of the song. The official video doesn't catch much of her during that time, which I feel was a mistake. I realize this is a dance cover and not necessarily a lip syncing performance. But I only ask the question, because Alina "mouthed" all of the other parts for Juria's role. I would have loved to see her lip sync that part too. Despite that, it didn't take away from her performance. Alina, like the rest, did a super job!
