Truly a work of art created by people who love what they do. Inspirational and thank you. But could we not just have seen it all round with the light on?
A great story and an amazing car, would love to see a driving video if ever possible 👌
@C a r e r a 💋 jog on fella

Another great video by the Carfection team. Really artistic and enjoyable to watch. Expect to see this stunning automotive masterpiece of art on the Hakone Toyo Turnpike very soon!
Many thanks! Glad you enjoyed this film 😊
Actual good pictures of the entire car would have been nice. I'm all for the artsy stuff, but i need the substance too.
Yes, it's beautiful. I have no doubt it would look, sound and drive beautifully. But, sorry to be a little crude, this video left me with blue b@lls. We never saw the finished product in sunlight. We never saw the full interior. We never properly heard the car. But in complete contrast to every other Carfection video I've ever watched (and I've been subbed since the early days), nobody got to drive the car. That last bit i can understand. I love this channel, but this video, after watching the whole thing, was a real tease.
Nice video but, as others have said, would have been good to actually have a proper look at the finished car, especially the interior...
Would have been good to actually show us the car in the daylight and not just a dark room.
Yes! They talked about how the color looks amazing in the sun, then only had inside, kind of gloomy shots of it!
@@Modmaven yeah it looked black for most of the shots. Also some interior shots that showed more than 1/4 the seat or some gauges would’ve been cool
Great to see Harris Tweed being used in such a special car! All the way from the croft to a 911! 👍
"Porsche has been an obsession since I left school. It's a bug"
"Ah ha!" - Clarkson
Every restomod is the ‘ultimate 911’. Getting sick of this trend. The ultimate 911 was built by Porsche. Everything else are just glorified shed builds.
Beautiful work, but we need to hear it! I’m sure there’s a “break-in” drive Henry could do?😀
11:05 you mind putting some clean gloves on mate 😅
Missed this kind of video from you lads. Keep this up! good work
Carfection is automotive cinematic perfection! Just amazing.
Dullest video Carfection have ever put out? Aside from the monotone delivery: No real detail, none of the actual grisly stuff, just generalisations and bling bling shots, no real driving, no interview, no review.
Plays as a glorified advertisement for Rennsport.
Beautifully shot, but what a disappointing conclusion. I guess I can sort of accept there was no driving footage, but to have ZERO shots of this car in the sunlight is a real let down. Not a single side view? Not a walk around? I'm all for artsy, but c'mon, to tease us and leave us hanging was a bit unfair.
Why go to the trouble of get a '87 911, "the last proper model," with a torsion bar suspension, only to put an aftermarket system in? I also think that gold lettering on the rear is tacky.
Just a great video! What an amazing car. Lucky guy gets to enjoy that car.
Thank you Dave
If I could ever afford such a car, I think I'd ask for them to not put their logo all over everything. Less is more.
I’d just buy a Singer.
Why wasn't there wrap applied or a mat in place to prevent paint damage when installing the engine or installing the seats? Not done to make the video look better or generally not a thing at Rennsport?
Would have been nice to see the finished car :(
I feel like I was just teased by a supermodel. I was waiting to see this thing ripping through the gears howling!
At 11:34 ... That. Shift. Knob.
Nice homage to the 917.
Perfect!!!
How do you not show this amazing car out on the road and the sound ........ oh good lord .... what a terrible ending to this story . oh no .
Would make you feel very special I’m sure. Though the tech banging in a bolt using the end of a spanner should have been omitted, shows he couldn’t be arsed to grab a hammer.
Too many Porsche videos...it gets old/monotonous.
In my opinion it is ridiculous to make excuses for making a assembly line car better. I could see maybe if these were one-off vehicles. but you asked for permission to make a vehicle safer faster more comprehensive reminds me of praying to the altar of a false god .don't make excuses for making something beautiful
these cars were made by hand at the factory no assembly line.
Really nice work and appreciate your passion. That flat 6 is one ugly heap. No wonder they stick it in the trunk. Lol.
🧂
A beautiful film for a beautiful car. Love what you guys do!
Can't wait for the 2023 992 ST the sucessor of the 991 911 R
Absolutely superb. Would love to see this treatment on other vehicles too, the 911 is iconic for sure and well deserves this TLC. But imagine a nut and bolt re-engineering of a TVR Griffith to make it beautiful and reliable… bin the fibreglass body for full carbon etc.
Just stunning cars 🔥🔥🔥 what great guys and company!
Another poorly done Singer copy. Ugh.
This 911 is stunning :D.
Perfection 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. If you know Porsches and seen these builds you would know they are far far far from perfection
???????
Oh for fuck sake. Not another Porsche
I’ll have a dark blue ‘72 coupe with a 4.0 engine and the Harris tweed interior please 🙏
Edit : would of liked to see some driving shots of that car it’s absolutely gorgeous
I always open these type of "restomod" videos eagerly only to find out they cost more than a fairly big house.
As I see a sports car as a way to have fun, I would love to see a company which does more "down to earth" restorations.
I do respect the love for the details and crafstmanship, but honestly, I don't need all that.
Paul looks like Seb Vettel + pies
So...why wasn't it driven to highlight the points they are "making"
It's an exclusive product for a customer.
Singer has some competition! Unparalleled craftsmanship.
Beautiful music by the way.
This will be good!
I'd much rather own one of these than a brand new 911 👌
The Dad’s wig though
A great video - stunning car. How about Henry drives one in the next video?
Just my opinion…. one doesn’t make a gentleman’s car out of an early 911, lighter is better. An over square, and an airport gear set is mandatory. Enough with the computer stuff, I would prefer a set of 46’s or high-throttle-bodies to blip.
Perfect color…. Aubergine, with tooth out of ‘72. I hope the Japanese government doesn’t confiscate your masterpiece.
Well done.
What a ridiculous end, spoiling an otherwise really impressive video. Never mind "I can't wait to see it out on the mountain roads near Tokyo"; your viewers would just like to see the finished car in a well-lit workshop, or simply out in the sodding sunlight! And hear the engine rev and, last but not least, actually bloody well moving under its own power! It would also be interesting to know what it cost. I can't imagine there would be much if any change from £100K...So, what happened to the last 2 minutes of the video?
Bummed to not see the final product (car 100) but otherwise a well-conceived, very interesting piece. Nice work!
Just 100 cars cars in a decade? And they can afford that large factory/showroom?
I am amazed at what their markup must be to make such a profit!
Sure, nice cars, but.... at what insane price?
Would love to see Harry Metcalfe review car 100.
Gentleman farmer with petrol in his veins would,I think thoroughly approve and enjoy the transformation, and enjoy how detailed the engineering is. 👍
the aint a million miles from his house actually
Rennsport should be renamed HEN SPORT, because these are hen pecked Porsches that were already fit as gentlemen's 'husbands'.
I'll take this over a super fancy and overpriced Singer everytime.......
great to see old porsches being recycled ....in england! and so glad they are using ice engines and not electric bollox
“The Ultimate 911 Build”
*Mr Singer spits coffee across table
Absolutely gorgeous. Amazing vid as well.
Thank you very much!
I prefer the older bodies with the upright chrome bumper guards. The ones in this video have bland front ends, IMO.
Those throttle bodies look like they are made by AT power. I have a set for my Nissan Micra. Seriously.
Disappointed ! A car like that needs to be flogged every once in awhile especially after she's been completed! What a Gip!
Why is your technician knocking bolts in with a ring spanner , not very good practice ......?
The best car content time and time again! 🔥🔥🔥
I love porsches but if you go over 100 mph you ate in trouble. You have no control there is not enough weight in the front end.And its not just the 911 its also the boxster.
Id for sure consider giving them a buld....but no way do I want red trumpets on my intake
Very nice restomod but...
it is the ultimate 911 only for his owner
Even after building a 100 of these they still can’t pronounce Porsche
Great effort. I would recommend a larger screwdriver for the gauge screws.
@ 1:20 STG911F? Does Sam have a confession to make? #SeenTroughGlass
I don't know. I'm kinda over old Porsche's now. What else is cooking?
this video has only commercial charakter. iam a big porsche head but thats disappointing
Far and away, Catchpole’s finest work.
😂
Great job anyway It's a shame not to hear it and see it evolve... that's what Porsches are made for. 😔
This is absolutely work of Art
Anyone else think this guy sounds so much like Karl Pilkington? :D
A German car re-engineered to British standards, does that mean it’s going to overheat and the electrics aren’t going to work?
Don't get these 'restomods' Pastiche, fake. Just get an original and look after it
Great attention to detail.
Well, apart from the terrible wig
Could we not have some shots of the finished product with some decent lighting??
I generally don’t like Porsches or Ferraris, but by God, I’ll take this any time of the day. Just beautiful!
Beautiful but would have been nice to actually see it instead of all the dark moody soft focus stuff.
Don't want to be a hater, but a 6 digit car with EBC brake pads???
Atleast they keep the Porsche badge on and not pretend thatthey invented the wheel unlike singer
Beautifully built car, but that colour would be best called "Placenta Purple" it's REVOLTING !
I loved the colour. Revolting is a bit strong why not just say the colour is not to my taste. Mmm
No shots of the whole finished car under decent light...? :(
More on the car please, less on the company and their history.....
Super cool to see the other
Half the story what led too the finished product
F##k Singer. That is the nuts boys. Well done all.
Love the Harris Tweed seat inserts. Way cooler that all leather or alcantara.
Please sort the video description - the video itself deserves better.
"It's a bug, what you get." - you mean Volkswagen bug? ;) Thanks for the video!
It would have been nice to see the actual car they were talking about.
Ten sport seems to have serious difficulties in the US.
Just going back and watching all the classics. Goodbye CARFECTION, you were an amazing channel
Awesome 😎😎😎Air cool life 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Great video as always. Would be nice to see e.g. a still shot of the car in daylight at the end though. I was watching the film thinking wow, that’s awesome craftsmanship - until I saw Rennsport putting stickers on the clocks. That was disappointing to say the least! Everything else looked beautiful, but they seriously cheaped out on the clocks. I couldn’t imagine being an owner looking at those every time, wtf...
* * WHAT CARDS ARE THOSE THE KID IS PLAYING WITH AT 1:50 * *
Nice film. But all that glitters isn’t gold.
I would love to be one of those technicians.
I didn't know Roy Orbison was designing Porsche retromod's! A well done job.
Too bad there wasn't ,a final walk around cinematic and a Drive ride out!
I'm sure the video for this car in those Japanese mountains is coming and that day will be a great day for us all❗
I recently moved to Blockley and wondered what marvels lay behind the shop front. Marvelous work. Perfection.
Mixing up an destroying an original 911, seems not right to me. Do it right an build a new one like Singer.... or just restore them properly. Feels like a wierd thing inbetween, does probably drive great though!
