Great video thanks, its the only one on entire internet that shows the actual inside ends (sprout bit) of both types of garden taps (peglar and standard garden tap) have you noticed any water flow issue after installing the pegler? I have an issue where my water flow feels restricted and noticed the pegler tap the plastic white disc part (inside the tap exit sprout part) is very tiny but a normal garden tap shows the plastic white bit is much larger so in theory I think the water flow rate would be superior on the normal old garden tap but I could be wrong. Not sure what that white disc bit is inside the tap could be called an aerator or filter.
The white disc on an outside tap are usually a non return valve or backflow preventer You may lose alittle flow but if the valves are working correctly it shouldn’t be much, I have see the valves get crushed when frozen and lose lots of pressure. Mine is a straight thru valve with no restrictions
@@KranzlePressureWashers thanks good to hear, I got a normal golden double check value tap from screwfix those £8 ones and compared it to the pegler, no real difference in flow rate I think I have an pressure issue my end since the flow is poorly will need to do further back breaking testing on that one.
A non return inside a tap is called “back flow protection“. If for what ever reason your pressure washer had an issue causing back pressure. The pressure could go back into the water mains. Putting 100bar + into your home that could burst pipes or worst if you are using chemicals contaminate your drinking water 🚰
@@KranzlePressureWashers Ok thanks, I never even thought of that, I bought one of these quarter turn taps cause I'm sick of screwing the old tap on and off all the time.
Good tips and advice 👍 I got around the check valve problem by fitting an inline check valve/isolator
Lovely Jubbly, mate! Cheers👍

Mixing it up is awesome!
Thanks for this bud I need to swap mine over 👍🏻
I don't understand the how the non return valve thing affects a pressure washer?

Is it still working well, any leaks?
Yes perfectly, no issues no leaks
Some Benny Hill music would have been appropriate :-)
