Great teacher for any level. I made this flower for a vintage lace bedspread. The vintage pattern I have was to hard to read. This flower was a nice compromise to my pattern. Thank you.

wow, my mom only taught me the basics on crocheting. this is just amazing what you can actually do. thx a ton. ive been building a folder for crocheting recently. im working on 3 different blankets and im still tryn to figure out how to blend colors and do designs. eventually i will get it. i love youtube. and all the great ppl sharing their talents with this skill. Im a 37 yo single mom of 2. My 11 yo son thinks its amazing when i spin a yarn ball. I tell him its how you can help recycle or help broken yarn. Saves on space too. I was born and raised in the the middle of no where Nebraska USA so its a big thing that we are taught when we are young how to sew, crochet and make clothing. Ive ran into a lot of ppl here in Missouri where i live now that cant believe someone my age can crochet, sew and all the rest. I think it should be a mandatory class in school. Even today. All of these are skills that we all need to have. And its like we have begun to lose it. But thanks to all you wonderful ppl showing the world how to do these beautiful pieces of art just with crochet. Its coming back again.

Great pattern. Easy to follow the video instructions. However, my completed flower is much bigger and I used an F hook (3.5) and medium worsted yarn. I'm not sure why it turned out bigger and less compact than the one in the video. It's too big for my project.
I love the flower and have been trying to follow the ideo but it is very dark and yellow and extremely difficult to see where to place the stitches. My iPad is as bright as. can make it. Are there written directions that I can follow?
