Pencil Mania- Tom and Jerrt

Here's a scan we're not using on the Thunderbean Blu-ray Tom and Jerry set-- it needs a rescan since the sprocket-guide managed to get into the picture area, making the very left of the picture darker. Enjoy this scan anyway!

It’s uncannily clear. Does anyone know why or how? Soundtracks from this era don’t usually seem to contain this much legit high frequency content.

@@dementedpurplechicken Popeye first appeared in the comic Thimble Theatre in 1929, while Van Beuran's Tom and Jerry shorts first started in 1931.

@@TheSilverLeaf79 he wouldn't appear on-screen until 1933's Popeye The Sailor, so this technically precedes Popeye (as a film star, that is).
