Thank you for your advice. I followed your recommendations and joined a guild, and got 3 tailors to 90 each using the money made from the guild events. I no longer am poor, and have a few bronze links. I also made a miner and got him to 94 and can even afford harvest cores!
thanks for sharing! great guide. I made the same conclusions about the problems of the game. My solution is that I only play my lockpick/ pilferer and my faction mage. I think gold per hour is best on the sea (but I never got into that), second with lockpicking and killing stuff on land is far behind.
I've always prefered dungeon farming, even though its not the best. My best setup so far is Shadow (safe from PKs, although they dont often get to the bottom of the dungeon), 110 camping, 2/2 Strongbox, 10 bronze camping links on offchain & Forensics. I recycle all items, and can haul out about 60k gold + rares + leather per run (takes about 3 minutes to bank and back). Wilderness is probably still better, but I found this setup to be quite competitive for bottom-dungeon farming.
@@Zensatsu I don't use it for Forensics (swapping chains has a 30s cooldown and I already have 110 Forensics), just for camping when i'm about to leave. Dump 6k gold somewhere and pick it up when you're about to leave. It just allows you to carry 6k more gold out (with 2/2 Strongbox) and it's a pretty big investment for 10 bronze links and a 2nd chain. Basically like Strongbox it's for looooong term "investment", although you can sell the camping links back if you need to. I just love hauling huge piles of gold out the dungeon.

Going to start following a good amount of this now as I only have 4 links unlocked and was thinking "how do people have so many unlocked". Thank you for this video! Maybe someone can help me with the Omni suggestion and making gold part - just for clarification. I'm assuming the 200-300k gold payout is if you sell the bronze links or additional stuff you may get after the attendee distributions are given out right? I know in pure gold I usually make 60k gold (having to leave to bank during the Omni at least twice due to weight).
the guilds give you a payout after the omni to all the attendees, some other guilds just distrbute the links. So it is they either distribute the links or instead give everyone a payout. And in general you don't loot during the omni, and never leave the fight. The aim is to kill it as soon as possible and a dedicated looter & skinner takes care of the loot.
You know a MMORPG is in for the long term when "285 days" is "pretty fast completion". I love my boomer MMORPGs :D I'm about to unlock 16th link, and XP, much more than gold, has been the cap on my aspect/links. Feels like only at the very beginning of links when you unlock them quickly if you want to fill all golds can it get very tight. I find it strange that there's so few PKs in the Wilderness, I feel like it's so much easier to track people outside, and if you don't have tracking yourself you can get jumped on super fast, and you can get recalled on, and they can come from any direction. But maybe most PKs don't bother? Really cool ressource btw, thanks for sharing!

It is not that I don't like it, it is more like I think something to worry about way later in the game. Watch my tank mage skinner video, that build quite good for making extra bucks, I actually started running it almost full time myself.

YEW absolutely does require that they are your only guild, just so you know. They dont all have to be in the guild, but you should not have chars in any other guilds.

I see that you have a few public vendors at the adjacent house on the second floor; how does one get close to the vendor to stock inventory? Many thanks
Does the Teleport Farming script automatically work with whichever rune tome is in your pack? What about if you have two rune tomes? I currently use one that has some important recall scripts attached to it.
Put the other rune tomes in your bank, only leave the farming tome in your backpack, run the script, it will automatically select that one, then pick the tomes that you had put in the bank.
@@MushboomersSandbox-wd5vk Actually I found out that if you have more than one tome in your backpack, the script will prompt you with a reticle when you run it the first time to select the farming tome that you want to use. You don't have to remove any other tomes 👍

@@andreaghezzi7987 I don't need diseases to be high even if that is a thing, I just need diseases for damage to diseased links to work. Take a look at the arcane mage videos I have, they show the build.
you can use runebook with 0 magery, just need to move recall scrolls into the runebook and you'll be able to recall by clicking the blue button next to each rune in the index
During my time they had asked for the login screens but I don't remember them asking for each character to be in the guild, maybe I misremember or things've changed.
@@MushboomersSandbox-wd5vk Actually I may have misinterpreted ;P You may be right, you do have to keep all of your characters on the web roster, but I don't know that they have to all be IN the guild.
you say you expect us to know the basics for this very advanced method and then start slowly showing me where to locate the weekly bonus dungeons and explaining EXTREMELY simple concepts like "you need gold"
Man, you didn't understand any of it. I said I am not going to explain the details of skills like chivalry and I expect to know those terminologies, however, making enough gold before starting out is a strategy because almost all players start with their adventurer characters and run out of money and that is when they go back to harvesting for money. See, it wasn't EXTREMELY simple.

Ocean is said to be very good, I tried it but unfortunately it is not for me.

I never thought about using a second link with camping or forensics how much difference does it make ?

I was in YEW until recently, Nobody ever asked me to put all the chars in the guild.
