I've heard other celebrities talk about Prince calling them out of the blue and they hung up, thinking someone was playing a joke on them. Really sad that he passed away before she got a chance to work with him in a major way. I can't think of a better tutor any young performer could hope for.

I was listening to Shelby J give an interview, and she said similar about not feeling alone - she said before she goes out on stage for a show, she says a little prayer and asks Prince to walk with her onto the stage. And she said she actually feels his presence with her. Prince was strong in life. All 5ft 2 in of him. And he has a strong spirit too. God made Prince short on purpose so that he wouldn’t go into the NBA.
