I really appreciate you showing other avenues that revolve around trucking. I see so many people mention how they fail as truckers. But these videos can give a motivated person another option in the trucking industry rather than just quitting. This episode and the woman who uplift/modify trucks and vans are the most insightful videos so far this year.

His expense cost are crazy. Kudos to his father for learning how to manage their expenses, retaining employees and staying in business for over 20 years. 👏🏾

City of Houston doesn’t help when they control pricing of water, pricing of mud per gallon to dispose properly while also having high dollar permits to run a business. Use to never be this way.

@@Dawgsquad13 Yea the reclaimed water system runs into hundreds of thousands to set up and after maintenance it would run into the millions annually as far as cost. So it wouldn’t be beneficial for him to recycle water. He’s kind of stuck with the city.

You sound like a very honest business man, Your large truck wash competitor Blue Beacon is nick named the streaking beacon by us truck drivers as far as I know they have 9 locations that offer the premium service for usually an extra $40-45 the extra includes rain x.citrus spray for the polished wheels and tanks, tire dressing and tractor hand dry. As for the brakes check out Eco brake it is a Canadian invention and Backed heavily by Michelin the original brake job is about equivalent to current brake jobs. but to replace the brakes the wheels do not have come off of the truck a Phillips screw driver will replace the pads and are rated to withstand heat up to 1200 degrees which is double what current brakes are rated for just do not tell your customers how easy they are to replace

Hey. Love the channel. I just have a little advice for you as a channel to improve your content. I’ve noticed a minor flaw that could completely change the look of your content. Invest in colour grading. Find an experienced editor to assist you in colour grading your videos, and I promise you will thank me later. Peace.

Is his truck washing revenue no existent because of his competition like blue beacon brand recognition it eats into his customer base?

The only reason he’s doing so well is because he’s lying about oil changes “every 10k miles and use cheap oil” to get your truck in his shop every few weeks … modern truck engines go 65k between oil changes, and require full synthetic oil. By doing the oil changes every 10k with cheap oil, you’re spending a LOT more money, most into his pocket, and the cheap oil is killing your engine! Fleets get millions of miles out of DD13/15’s with 0 leaks because they’re using the CORRECT oil and changing every 50k miles. OO’s have leaks galore because they follow bad advice like this. Owner-operators are going to put themselves out of business with this stupidity.

LOL no one changes their oil after 65K. 10K if you don't want 40K engine problems prematurely, max 20K. That's an additional 3 oil changes or 1K per year. You will extend your engine life by probably 2X to a million miles for what, 5K, and no downtime? Seems like a no brainer. Esp with the engine temps what they are now with DPFs.

You can’t invalidate his or his customers experience just because you had a great experience
