In your web review, you said you connected a sub to this system? How do you connect a sub to the Maria? I didn’t know you could do that. I am confused. You did say sub not really needed, but you connected one to see, but, how?

Sounds like you are talking about my Luxman 590AXII. Anything I put through it sounds wonderful. Class A runs hot but up here in Cold Canada that’s not a problem. 😎

Great review. Missed my chance to swing by Lone Crow while I was in the area. Really curious on how the Daniel Hertz systems sound. Under the marketing terms, I suspect they are using some type of Ganfet based technology and a DSP. I'm trying to DIY my own rig using a MiniDSP Flex which can handle room correction, EQ to get different tunings and a Peachtree GaN 1 digital power amp which also eliminates the need for a DAC.

How does it sounds directly using the in-wifi instead of external streamer? I’m meeting them in Venice (Italy) within couple of days!

I will be auditioning this shortly. I have a D'Agostino Progression Integrated with Wilson Sabrina X speakers but the thing that I find is that for my music that I grew up listening to, 70s and 80s rock, I just cannot enjoy it as much. That will be the litmus test.

Mark Levinson the man is the brains (and ears) behind this product line. Mark knows how to get great sound going back to his Cello and Red Rose music days.

On edit, yes it has to be called DSP. I've believed that digital will soon, perhaps now, be judged by audiophiles as superior to analog. Because ultimately as here, it is enhanced.
There is a lot of negativity here based on nothing but just wanting to be a troll for the purpose of it. Everyone can speak but not everyone's opinion counts. Go listen to the system then comment. Perhaps provide your own opinion based on experience.

I would love for you to review the Zu Union supreme 6 and compare that to the Amber
remember your old cell phone 10 years ago? does it still receive product support?? Same with this... especially the rose.. ten years down the road.. product support will probably be non existent. I agree.. Great tech . Though 15-20K i can easily source a system where the company has been around for decades...I'd say audio note would be the prime example of customer service. and legacy.
Mark Levinson is certainly top end stuff all the way but after-market support in repairing older name-sake amps in Australia are non-existent! Can anyone help?

I am looking for a complete all-in-one FOREVER speaker system... yes it's expensive.. if lasts 10-20+ years it might be worth it. Too bad I am in Canada... I want to listen to this before I spend $.

This guy is an interesting read but he changes his mind or contradicts what he previously said about stereo gear all the time. Goes from a mega buck system and then says the mid priced system is better and that’s using a bluesound node. One month he loves something, Weiss dacs for example then two months later he sells it off. No Art Dudley here, rest his soul.
yes he contradicts himself. Last time he said he is all about affordable system that sings but now he bought a new system again which is really not that affortable

@@phil9593I understand what you are saying but his latest “best sound he ever had system” was using a Bluesound node as a streamer. I own one of those and well competitive at its price point it won’t bring out the very best in your hi end system.

I would like to offer….. since you are a class D convert, please try to review the PS Audio M1200 mono blocks. I’m listening to them now though my Cornwall iv’s.

For a system of that calibre you’d think they’d “tune it” with some nice 12 gauge lines…. Because the ones that come with it look like thinner then lamp cord…

Capacitance is a thing, tuned means optimized as to my understanding so more is unnecessary and therefore a waste if so.
doubt that this would be much better than my 6k Rega Denafrips ATC set up.

I dont care about solid state class D. Class A zero feedback tube is the way to go in dac & preamp. Only amp section should be solid state. If possible every conductor should be pure silver too. No manufacturer makes this route unfortunately. Balanced gear is also no go. Single ended spdif for the win + paper cone.
