  • These elevators have a pretty deep shaft pit. This is because the motor room of the bottom drive traction system is tucked away below the lowest floor. They have nice scenic cabs with glass doors. While there are escalators serving all other floors, the parking level is only accessible by stairs (or by elevator, evidently).
    Technical specifications:

    Capacity: 1600kg / ~3525lbs / 21 people
Type: traction (bottom drive, 2:1 transmission)
    Year built: 1990
    Travel distance: 4 floors

Are this one original? Bottom drive traction is a bit unusual for 1990. This was more the time where such elevators are inground hydraulics.

schausteller111 I think so. At least, there is no sign of a modernization, and I doubt the drive system would have been completely changed if the elevator was modernized.
