I love Metal Soul so much for the simple fact that a double boost to non elemental chips really does change the tides. Especially with the usage of AirHoc combined with that.
I'm so sad they took the recasts off Capcoms RUclips page that was a gold mine of nostalgia for how long it lasted I probably rewatched it all like 10+ times lol
Hah, Topman was my first SandStorm combo victim in my replaythrough! I legit opened a sheets document to draw out every permutation of the mini top attack so I could learn how to avoid it and eventually realize ... whether the tops go up or down first is random and just defeated the purpose of documenting every permutation... x_x
The soul match ups on BN4 were so good tbh, really the only thing lacking with BN4's double soul system was the charge shot damage. Idk why people hate on it so much besides the new game+ tbh I liked it and you have to also consider boktai 1 and Zero 3 were out around that period of time and even though there was no link feature between BN4 and boktai 1, it along with Zero 3 also featured new game+ so idk I feel like they were trying to appeal to an audience that liked being able to replay the story of a game with all their gear intact, stage an assassination on me if I'm wrong idk 🤦🤷
I'm afraid if this is harder than it looks, because I've played this game and know how fast TopMan darts around in practice. This _looks_ hard. So just what lies beyond superhuman reflexes?
@@hokostudios things usually are less complicated. E.g. Topman will always be in the same row as mega when he does his regular top attack. But yea finding his pattern is quite hellish and very annoying
"how many times do i have teach you this lesson oldman?!!??!?"

Looks like he got...
Toppled.
Indeed, Old Timer has a good Net Navi though.

i hate that i know where that comes from
@@Zetsu-IPZ It comes from Mega Man NT Warrior Axess.
Mega Man says that in the episode where he obtains Metal Soul & Aqua Soul.
@@kolkagaming1234cool, I like knowing where references come from
