Dude, that makes me feel bad. I'll be your friend. I mean, I can understand being depressed every once in a while. Or, if it's like clinical depression, then that's more of an issue with a chemical imbalance. That generally needs to be treated with therapy and/or drugs depending on the severity and situation. But other than that, life is so full of beauty and pleasures and music and weird wonderful people like our friend Jack here. Unless you have serious responsibilities like a child or a wife, quit your job and travel the world. Get to another country and let fate take it from there. What's the worst that can happen? You most likely won't die. And if you do have those responsibilities, well, they're their own reward. Baby Teeth is interesting because it progresses to an end point, sort of like the last verse in Pressed Flowers
in Reviator it has a fast and joyful approach with more vocalization and sound effects
The gunshot is especially interesting in that song because of how sinister it is compared to the rest of the song
and in the Reviator song it doesn't exactly build up to anything, it just ends on more expressive lyrics, sound effects and vocalization
I think the persistent use of the acoustic guitar in Baby Teeth is beautiful because it's completely drowned out in the final chorus
how the meaning of the lyrics change in each song is also interesting
in Baby Teeth it's seen as a person reflecting on how they've wasted their youth and the best years of their life are behind them
Baby Teeth on Reviator, however, is a person looking back on all of the good times they've had before a disastrous event, probably a death of some sort
