Compared with other countries in Asia, street food in Vietnam is actually cheap! The eggplant stand may be visited by many foreign tourists, so the price is a little higher than outside! The coconut chocolate pancake is very attractive, I really want to try it! The last ice cream is called fried ice in my country. I feel that night market is worth a visit, thank you very much for taking us to there! 👍🤩🙏👏
With $10++, you could get 8 items from that night market. Of all the items, the fried tofu and eggplants didn't look impressive at all (my honest opinion) Surprised that there wasn't any dip given. Great that you like that banana "kuih". Well done, Ken, you still can remember the word "kuih" which we refer it as little cake 👏👏👍 Chestnut pancake looked yummy and that "Kem Cuon Thailand" was the best of all. Looooove this video. Another fantastic time spent with great content maker "Ken". Thank you so much and cheers, Ken.
The yellow banana cake that you ate with the sweet coconut milk called Bánh Chuối in Vietnamese. They cut banana in slices, then mixed it with a bit of sugar and tapioca starch. Then they steamed it in the cake baking pans. Yellow color is either from food color or turmeric.
Wow, another interesting video showing what you can get with $10. Yeah, that green fruit looks more like a guava instead of ambarella which you ordered. ln Malaysia, ambarella is known as "ambra". The juice will taste better if "asam boi" is added. Yup, you have tasted this ambarella juice when you were invited to a Sri Lankan home..😊
Yay this is so nice! Thanks ken! Love how u explained each snacks / food. And its cute when u are trying to explain or tell your orders with the vendors hehe surely i will experience the same when i get there. Hehe plus i love the Pilipinas shirt hehe #philippinesrepresent hehe thank u for this video ken!! Keep safe always too ❤️
Hi Ken ! So your visa is finally extended for an extra 30 days now . Oi is Guava in English . The Banana cake is called Banh Chuoi Nuoc Dua which means banana cake with coconut milk . That chestnut cake is called Banh Nuong Hat De , a speciality of Sapa .
Kuya ken abroad it is alden from kuya from germany ? Happy good morning Monday God bless thank you heart love ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Mr Cris Claudio gomez Molina Naga city Philippines filipino 🇵🇭🇵🇭
The drink menu has the order of Vietnamese on top and English below. You order Ổi, which is guava in Vietnamese (Guava is writen below Ổi), so they make guava juice for you. 😅
You have this funny way of repeating yourself when they don't understand English, as if they will understand it the 2nd time. Maybe try more hand gestures? Good video, i enjoyed it.
I hate when people visit a country and don’t even bother learn basic expressions or words. And for some reason, it’s always the Europeans (French mostly) and Americans.
You are right..that was AMBARALLA you tried in Sri Lanka. But Pilipine version is bit bigger than Sri Lankan. And AMBARALLA is growing in a separate tree not in a banana tree..
Haha, on the menu of the fruit juice shop, Vietnamese is above and English is below. So, instead of saying Ambarella is "cóc" in Vietnamese, you say "Ổi" which means Guava.
I recently went to that night market…unfortunately I didn’t want to eat any of the street food. It was quite hot there….and it made the food much less appealing in real life.

hai ken.. greetings from brunei Darussalam 🇧🇳🇧🇳🇧🇳
Các anh Tây qua Việt nam du lịch làm Vlog thoải mái ,đói thì vào quán ăn và có nhiều người xem ủng hộ đấy
1:43 xúc xích and phô mai are both French loan words that come from the words saucisse and fromage or in English: sausage and cheese
With $10usd in Vietnam Ken, You'll buy more food than TWO people could eat :)
Hi Ken ! So your visa is finally extended for an extra 30 days now . Oi is Guava in English . The Banana cake is called Banh Chuoi Nuoc Dua which means banana cake with coconut milk . That chestnut cake is called Banh Nuong Hat De , a speciality of Sapa .
Wow vietnam is beautiful country❤😊
Ambarella called ‘trai coc’ in Vietnamese.
The one you drank was guava, called Oi. They’ve different flavors.
14:44 Notice the writing on the T-Shirt of the vendor: I don't really care if you ... take Oi instead of Ambarella, hi hi hi !!!
In my country Belgium it is 10 € for one ice cream that size and one koffie. So lucky you.
12:11 Guava = ổi, Ambarella = cóc
English translation were written at the bottom of the Vietnamese name of the fruits.
I didn't expect the food to be so cheap in Vietnam!! c😮
12:07 Ổi = Guava, Cóc = Ambarella. There are the pictures of fruits on the menu, funny that all of you are blind at that moment 🤭
Tuyệt vời
You are fortunate to have the opportunities to try all those delicious food items
Macht mich hungrig
I love your Gilas shirt
The crepes looked delicious.
Wake up Ken . The juice you drink Is guava 😂😂😂
Kuya ken abroad it is alden from kuya from germany ? Happy good morning Monday God bless thank you heart love ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Mr Cris Claudio gomez Molina Naga city Philippines filipino 🇵🇭🇵🇭

Exactly, Ambarella was Coc in Vietnamese and Guava was Oi - first the name was written in Vietnamese and underneath was the english translation
Yeah I realized that too when looking at the footage after filming 😂
Sweet tooth Ken 😂
You have this funny way of repeating yourself when they don't understand English, as if they will understand it the 2nd time. Maybe try more hand gestures? Good video, i enjoyed it.
I noticed that as well.
I hate when people visit a country and don’t even bother learn basic expressions or words. And for some reason, it’s always the Europeans (French mostly) and Americans.
You pointed at the wrong thing. The menu had English and thai names and Hoi was Guava. You read the menu incorrectly
No sir, the menu is wrong. Ổi = Guava. But they write "umbrella".
we call the banana with coconut milk is " bánh chuối" ( banana cake ). Actually, have many kind of " bánh chuối" - grill, fry, or like what you ate.
You are right..that was AMBARALLA you tried in Sri Lanka. But Pilipine version is bit bigger than Sri Lankan. And AMBARALLA is growing in a separate tree not in a banana tree..
Banana cake is BANH CHUOI NUOC DUA ,
I like u wearing a pilipinas jersey i am filipino and a subscriber of ur channel comeback to philippines
Will be making more videos in the Philippines later this year 🙏
"xúc xích" is sausage as well :).
Kem is based on the French word creme
There is some your mistake when you read her menu so your order is wrong. Ambarella is Cóc not Ổi. Ổi is Guava 😊
so funny, you and juice shop owner are misunderstand. Ổi is Guava.
It’s always nice to have some snacks or dessert before/after meal.
But for usd$10 u can’t even get a proper meal then that’s bad.
trái ổi, nước ổi
looks like the drink you had was guava white flesh
Why no come to Indonesia??
Later this year probably ✌️
That juice menu was badly translate. 🤣
Haha, on the menu of the fruit juice shop, Vietnamese is above and English is below. So, instead of saying Ambarella is "cóc" in Vietnamese, you say "Ổi" which means Guava.

$10 isn't no challenge. If you want you can have breakfast lunch and dinner.
ổi ist Guave
Banh mi $1. I bet u can’t eat 10 sandwich at 1 seating. Easy.
She doesn't care if I cry? 😢
👍✨💫😎🧡🌏🫶
chuối
You can eat a lot lol
Very expensive and not tasty. Oslo, Stockholm and Amsterdam are much cheaper and have much better street food.
Banana in Vietnamese is chuối
Ambarella in Sri Lanka
