"Spiders can't hurt you."
Have you never heard of a brown recluse? Australia is the obvious answer for dangerous spiders, but there's brown recluse spiders, black widows, etc
I got bit by a brown recluse spider before when I was sixteen. I got medication after that but I was fine thankfully. :)
Yeah that peppa pig episode is one of the few times I'll ever say the reactionary parents and parents in Australia had an actual valid point. I freely admit most spiders aren't aggressive but so many varieties you dont want to get bitten by anyway regardless of if their venomous can cause allergic reactions in most people.
Idk I’m pretty sure if Spider-Man hits you hard enough it will hurt
Actually, the American Black Widows aren't as dangerous as people are led to believe. Granted, yes, their bites could be potentially harmful to infants, the elderly, or those with severe allergic reactions, in most cases...you wouldn't even need medical treatment for a Black Widow bite. It's gonna hurt like hell with a lot of muscle cramping for a little while...but 9 outta 10 people probably wouldn't even need to go to the hospital after being bitten.
But yes, Brown Recluses on the other hand, are very dangerous when it comes to their bites. Mainly because they have a different venom to what Black Widow's have. Recluses have more of a necrotic venom that eats away at the flesh surrounding the bite leading to very nasty bites where the areas basically rot away if not treated as quickly as possible.
This is the stupidest comment thread yet. And that's saying something.
I’m surprised Pee-wee’s Playhouse didn’t make this list. When the show started, Pee-wee was given a list of phrases, such as “I’ll show you mine if you show me yours”, that he was not allowed to say but he took that as a challenge and worked as many of them into the show as he could.
@Steven Leitner what happened
Never knew that was something that'd make me laugh. But pee-wee herman is funny when you hear the phrase I'll show you mine if you show me yours. Kinda reminds me of people comparing rooster sizes

I met so many people who genuinely tought that kids seeing two gay people kissing turn them gay, or even acting outside of traditional gender roles, unless you prefer the term closed-minded I have an uncle who is impossible to talk with, he never believes he is wrong, even if you show scientific proof that what he said is false, depression to him doesn't exist and so on, and to be a man you need to like male things. That's the definition of an ignorant/closed-minded person.
While the statement "spiders CAN'T hurt you" is objectively false, I do agree that the default response should be to gently place them outside rather than simply kill all spiders on sight.
They should have just said that they would rather not hurt you
Whilst I agree with you. There are species of spiders who will bite, even “dry” bite, if handled in places like Australia. So the message in that should really be, get a grown up to gently place the spider outside. Just to be safe

i'm not for or against lgbtq stuff, but censoring a harmless dance scene involving 2 female characters is ridiculous!

A lot of "adult" jokes and visual gags in kids shows that parents complain about are actually put in the show precisely for the parents to notice that their kids won't. The jokes are usually so subtle that generally only an adult would pick up on them but some parents don't get that or they just don't want to answer any questions their child may have. I also think it's insane that conservative outrage can cost someone their job, especially considering that their outrage is usually over the most benign, inconsequential things.

Not Tom and Jerry themselves, but supporting characters. These days if you see an episode on TV it comes with a warning about Aunt Mammie and how that racial stereotype was common in the 1940s to early 1950s when she was replaced with a white woman who was well to do.
3:24 This was 100% Pikachu's fault.
And of course they blamed Porygon bc we can’t make our mascot get in trouble
0:31 holy hell I can't stop thinking about Among Us
It’s funny how Elmo hates a rock lol
@Sheldon there's nothing funny about your grammar either.
🤨
Rocco's not alive, Zoe! ROCCO DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A BRAIN!
The Super Mario Brother Super Show where Luigi mentioned that Mario had food on his shirt and Mario replied "Well thank you, Luigi" but could be heard as "F you"
I wish that Sesame Street re-filmed that Katy Perry segment so that it could air for real! They didn’t have to completely remove it.
@Sheldon Commenting about another show for infants I see. The only cringe is your terrible troll attempts. Let's finally admit it.
Or maybe Katy should've worn something that didn't show off cleavage.
@Sheldon The fact that your a whiny manchild who dosent like kids shows tells me that you have had a bad upbriging.
5:07 Nickelodeon did after his passing and last I checked the creator gets the say not the company who own the character
actually, he said the whole asexual thing before his death I remember it specifically because I had heard that he might be gay so I searched it up because I would love to have more representation and in an interview, i belive he said that if anything he was probably asexual since he had always pictured him to be that way!
When my dad was alive he claimed every one of the teletubbies was gay.
I mean...they don't exactly have genders...so I guess? 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
love how watch mojo brushes away or defends all the controversies on tv that are left wing, but gets angry over the ones that are right wing
Just shows how dumb this channel is 🙄
both left wing and right wing views should be allowed
@@Readyforit7723this channel is not dumb
Okay?? Your entitled to your own opinion and I can have mine
I find it funny how chuds seem to think "left wing controversies" amount to anything, while ignoring that right wing controversies tend to attack people for existing.
Elmo Actor Allegations is not #1 on the list? Really? BTW, Honestly Kevin Clash's puppeteer role as Elmo is alot better than Ryan Dillon's puppeteer role.
What would happen if these kids shows were done better? Which one of these shows is exciting and worth watching?
i find that a lot of these show ARE good its people wanting to make it bad for no reason like Teletubbies or steven universe (my fav show actually) there's always a person who sees a show getting popular and since they have nothing else to do with their lives they try to ruin it!
Spongebob Squarepants being gay. Tinky Winky being gay.
These are characters on a kids show.
The creators of kids shows are not thinking about politics and sexual identity!
Parents and parents' rights groups need to get THEIR heads out of the gutter!
The SpongeBob one later shifted, as they featured him one or two years ago in Nickelodeon as one of their LGBTQ characters during pride month.
It’s really Disgusting to see the smallest unintentional details get ruled out and condemned
Top 10 PG-13 movies that should be R rated
They made that one already.
Children shows should be aimed at things relevant to children. This world is truly sick to see evil where it's not
and that what all kids show do
Great list and good job keeping it global
Here are a few snubs
The good night show hostess Melanie Martinez fired by PBS over the discovery of racy but SNL level comedy sketches called technical virgin
What made this worse was pbs kids shows on the air had narrators or hosts with MUCH more questionable past content such as Didi Conn Alec Baldwin and GEORGE CARLIN. So singling out an unknown over an SNL style web video and giving her the ax caused quite the uproar
Sesame workshops tone deaf battle over bert and earnie
Arthur mr ratburn comes out gets married and the right loses its mind
Roosevelt Franklin pulled from sesame st over concern of Black stereotypes
Agreed. Funny thing about George Carlin, I never actually found out the type of comedy he made before the video Thomas & Friends Dubbed By George Carlin (18+). Before that, I knew him solely as the Narrator, Rufus from Bill & Ted, and Fillmore from Cars.
"Swearing by Bob the Builder!!!!!!!" LOL!!!!!!
2:00 THATS WHY HE WAS FIRED!
9:34 Actually, This is a spinoff series we're Dora is older and its called Dora And Friends Into The City and it was made (I think) in 2015
Loved kid nation as a kid, desperately wanted to be on it at one point lol
I could've sworn that they shot a second season of Kid Nation (or started to) but it ended because a kid got hurt, but I can't find anything on it. Must be having a Mandela Effect moment...
Don't know why Arthur is not on the list, but at least the 25-season show has ended without too much controversy.
what shocking things
There was some freak-out over the episode “Bleep”, which follows DW’s attempts to discover the meaning of a word she overhears. The only problem - the word is a swear word, and every time the word is spoken, a “bleep” sound is heard (the pre title sequence actually explains to the audience in detail what the bleep is and why it is used on TV). Eventually, the episode ends with DW and children watching the episode learning what swear words are and why it’s not appropriate to use them, all without the audience learning any swear words in the process. Personally, I think the topic was handled well, but some parents were apparently quite up in arms about it, particularly over what the bleeped word featured in the episode *could* be.
Heard that one, but not on the news.
@@williamjeffries5074 yep
They had a gay weeding episode and an episode about racism
The dumbest thing about the Pokemon episode is it could've been fixed and release in America but they just banned it completely.
It couldn't have been fixed very well. But Japan had been the ones who had banned it from international releases with the exceptions of the Chinese Cantonese dub, the Chinese Mandarin dub and the Taiwanese Mandarin dubbed versions that had already aired it uncensored and unedited. You can easily find the Taiwanese Mandarin dubbed version of the scene online.
As a TMNT (2012) fan, this genuinely shocked me-
@Sheldon i so do not agree with that, but hey, your opinion
@Sheldon 1. Far from trash, but wouldn't expect someone with a BBT profile to know what actual writing is.
2. And funny how you use the " opinions are irrelevant" angle 🤣🤣
I really like the series and it does genuinely make me happy, which is something my mind needs. If you don't like it, that's fine, just try to not be rude to anyone about it =)
I didn't even know the 2012 version of TMNT was involved with politics that's kinda disappointing.
@@YakkoWarnerTower Yea, but I still really love the show ^w^
4:25 Now thats just funny. the whole point is that the shows funny and has some adult humor
Just times when kids shows went too far, and thought they were able to get away with it and eventually got busted
well only for some other ones it just people getting mad because they wanna be mad at something even if it doesn't make sense!
9:15 yeah, they can when you're in Australia.
And in America
Thanks for damaging a lot of my childhood well… babyhood
I can't believe they cut that out from Steven Universe
Bob the builder used to be my show when I was a little kid lmao
Same
I don't recall the Bob The Builder theme being sung by British people. I don't think I ever heard the narrator from Teletubbies having a British accent either
If Tinky-Winky's bag is so magic, then why didn't he ever use it?
i dont think it really matters its a cute bag and he deserves to wear what he wants cause he's adorable
It actually has a bomb inside of it. He's just waiting for it to explode, then every Teletubby dies.

Patrick: You said Squidward twice!
SpongeBob: I like Squidward
Can you do comic book origin of Marvel's Slapstick?
imagine getting mad because you saw an image of a page of a book being broadcast through a television. wild, the brain.
5:45 you barley hear it because of the laughing from lofty I think I haven't seen Bob the builder since I was a kid
Another thing that made Teletubbies controversial was the The Lion and Bear. The original sketch was so scary that it was banned in several countries (the US being one of them), and the backlash from it caused the BBC and Ragdoll Productions to make an edited sketch in 2000. Again, despite the fact it wasn't as scary as the original sketch, the edited sketch was also banned in several countries (again including the US)
