I also love her duets with Jane Siberry and Roy Orbison. chillingly beautiful. I saw her at the Globen (Stockholm, Sweden) in 2012, I was the one screaming the loudest! 'We love you kd!' I have found that when she issues anything new it's a good idea to grab it up because for some reason i'ts for only a short time. I missed out on the dvd of "Cropped and chronicled" by procrastinating. Also her things don't stay up on youtube for long.

That's just the thing... KD isn't a man and doesn't act like one. She's a woman and acts very much like a woman. She has the ability to be both male and female depending on how she wants to dress. I don't know many men who can pull that off successfully! :D If I was gay, I'd go for KD. I'm not and I still think she's beautiful. And her voice! Wow. I saw her in concert last year and she was stunning.

For all of you with "hangups" about this lady's sexuality .... I don't believe that one's SOUL is either male or female ... so why judge the body we are born with!! Love, feelings, passions, and sensuality transcend the superficial forms we have inherited by birth .... this was not a choice we made, but was made for us, to make the best of in this lifetime .... perhaps the next will be different!!
She is beautiful and hot. Whether she is masculine or feminine appearing doesn't matter. She defines who she is, not the rest of society that tries to stomp our being into their own ideas, their own tiny boxes, of what or who we should be. Rebel against the social constructs that strive to think for you-to control you. Be free. It was what you were born, not what other people would like you to be.

AMEN! you should listen to what you want and watch what you want and just appreciate the talent. I'm a guy but I love listening to Helen Reddy so go figure. I speak english but i listen to Utada Hikaru. Labels are so over rated.
Although, I do draw the line at the crowds of straight people that invade gay clubs just because it's the "in" thing to do. That's like a vegetarian shopping in a butcher shop.

I'm straight I listened to "Wham" "Queen" and "Boy George" in the 80's. No one checked sexuality cards back then. Stop being so homophobic. She did put out a collectors edition of "Salmonberries" which not only had the movie but the video of Barefoot and an interview about the making of the movie with Pery Adlon filmed in her dining room.. I have found that when she issues anything new it's a good idea to grab it up because for some reason i'ts for only a short time. I missed out on the dvd of "Cropped and chronicled" by procrastinating. Also her things don't stay up on youtube for long.
straight gal here....one day years ago I was flipping thru the tv channels and there's this woman dressed in white singing "wash me clean" while caressing the mic so gently and I almost fainted. turned out to be Bravo profile of her. I had to call the station to find out when it was being aired again to tape it. been in love since.....wish she would put out a dvd of that program cause my vhs tape is getting old and grainy. I'll die in love with her!!!

I am a gay guy, and I get weak over her voice.I love men, but for KD I would go straight and would love to romance her (however she would not probably like me becuase), and listen to her interviews- her intelligent words and ways of expressing or so sexy!

She is her own kind of woman and people who are attracted to women, like myself look for the female inside as well as the female on the outside and I'm assuming she has that she has female parts too which would be a turn off to anyone who is only attracted to cis men.
Very strange, she's a beautiful woman, but at the same time, with a different haircut, she could also be a very handsome man. Ultimately it doesn't matter as it's what's inside that matters and she's a humanitarian with a voice straight from heaven. That is what makes her the most beautiful woman on earth.
