      Trust me, you are not going to die any time soon, just follow the instructions from the doctors.
      Eat healthy, stay away form tea and coffee and junk food, and do regular exercise.
      Smoking and drinking treat them as your enemies.
      You will be perfectly fine for many years to come.

    Can I do physical sports?? I legit want to go into the military and other jobs are boring

      I have this condition and was advised against doing anything besides maybe a brisk walk. The military likely wouldn't accept you with this kind of condition, unfortunately, if it's the US military. Military service with this condition puts you at high risk for sudden death.

    cant some people have this with no symptoms , if so how would you know if you have lvnc. or just wait till something happens?

    • @anyaw340
      @anyaw340 3 года назад +1

      You definitely can. I'm 32 and just found out that I have it. My doctor saw that my blood pressure was high and she asked about my family history. I told her about parents with high blood pressure, and a sister who died of dilated cardiomypathy. She sent me to get an echocardiogram. That's when the LVNC was discovered; confirmed via Cardiac MRI. Ejection fraction is 36%. I have no symptoms at all. I did genetic testing, and it turns out I have two genes associated with this condition. I went from being on no medication ever, to now being on Carvedilol, Entresto, and Spironolactone.

      The only way to really know is to have an echo or Cardiac MRI done. If you're concerned that you may have it, I would suggesting bringing it up to your primary care doctor so that you can possibly be referred to have the exam done. With this condition, the something that happens could be a major event that kills you. That's the path I was headed down because I had no warning signs that told me to get checked out, and no one ever told my family that my sister's condition might be genetic.

      Hi,
      I’m 21 had minor palpitations when working out. Spoke with my cardiologist today. He thinks it’s very unlikely I have LVNC. Most likely minor infiltrate or nothing of concern. Still waiting on MRI
      Glad your doing ok. What was your symptoms. What prognosis did they give you?
