Idk if im wrong but I think the reason why you couldnt craft worm food is that you need vile powder
Correct me if im wrong.
He might had vile powder but I was sleepy when I checked the other video
nice video btw
It's incredible how they made this mod, true dedication went into making it!
Now we can hopefully stop the war of Minecraft vs Terraria and of this video is one example of that ruclips.net/video/yulqxOIzRko/видео.html

@@NatetheNintendofan it’s two completely different games have people actually argued that?

James, I know this is TECHNICALLY Terraria, but you can’t dig straight down.
I'm surprised he hasn't learned it after dying due to that
Actually you can safely dig straight down once you get the bucket of water.
@@andriychuck1194 I don't think a water bucket will save you from a lava pit. but at least from fall damage

Hey James, if you're actually giving the game 25 gbs of ram that could be your issue, java is inefficient when it comes to ram usage at higher amounts, personally I'd recommend somewhere from 6-8 gbs of ram
And along with that, the issue may lie with the CPU or GPU, so it may be good to upgrade that instead.
@@goldh2o543 Minecraft is a CPU based game so Minecraft doesn't use that much gpu power but it does need some ram
@@vincerafaelesguerra1847 Yeah, but he already has plenty of ram. The CPU may be the next place to check.

Just so you know, chippy, more RAM isn’t always better. There should be a sweet spot somewhere. Maybe check the mod page for advice. But, I know I’ve experienced the issue where I give Minecraft too much RAM. Then it doesn’t really know what to do with it all and it ends up slowing things down rather than speeding things up. Hope this helps!
8gb is usually the sweet spot for mod packs for me, due to the size of this mod I’d say 8 gigs would be good.
yeah he just sounds inexperinced with pc's in general
commenting so it gets boosted up
With Minecraft, it’s less of a sweet spot and more of a sweet range, and that range is 8-16 gb.
@@frost3840 thank you. He saw another one I left on a post claiming the video was out.
When you mentioned RAM, a thing with Minecraft modding is that if you give it alot more RAM than it needs it can play up for various reasons I'm not too sure of, I find that usually giving it between 4 and 8 GB to work with runs better lots of the time than giving it something like 20. Im no expert but I see things like that appear alot on reddit

hi again chippy! just wanted to say that more RAM can actually cause more issues, the sweet spot for this mod is tested to be about 6gb, any more is excess and causes more problems than it solves, also once again, thank you so much for looking at our mod, it's surreal to see someone who's videos i've watched for so long take such a deep dive into something i've spent around a year helping with!
Hey chippy! Loving this series, i got a couple tips for fixing the game performance. Minecraft will actually run worse if you give it large amounts of ram, as it dumps bigger piles of memory. The sweet spot is 4-12Gb. And I'm not sure your render distance, but with almost any pc Youll lose a ton of performence playing over 12 render distance. Hope this helps a bit!

Cippy:
Is this a Minecaraft thing?
If you're going to dig straight down in minecraft, I'd recommend digging a hole two blocks wide and standing in the middle of the two blocks, therefore you should be able to see if there is a big fall if you mine one block out.
"I don't know if man-eaters exist in this."

Thank you again! Loving all of your videos. I wanted to give you a notice that, we have our own launcher! The Launcher can help you allocate ram for optimizations. it can be found in out discord server on the curseforge page
again, thank you chippy, have been a fan for a long time now, and seeing you play our mod couldnt have made me happier :)

if you are running an amd graphics card you may need to install a mod that fixes amd performance with animated textures or turn them off in the options. for some reason amd cards don't like animated textures in minecraft. in vanilla it's no big deal, but mods make heavy use of animated textures and it tanks performance. the mod is called foam fix and should be on curse forge. just make sure it's available for the version of minecraft you are running.
Getting too much ram allocated is actually bad, normally only 4-8gb of ram is recomended and more than enough to run minecraft modpacks, allocating more will make it run slower, so don't need to waste money getting more ram! (only buy it if you want play minecraft with 2 tabs on chrome lol)
I recently got even more into terraria. I was thinking about making a legit town with houses designed for certain NPCS
the Town Info center for the guide, The Hospital for the nurse, The Clothes boutique for Chippy (Referencing the clothier)
The Workshop For the Engineer, The Tavern for the bartender, The living town tree for the dryad, The Bank for the Taxcollector. Literally just a Fisherman's hut for the fisherman, the quarry for the demolitionist, Party R Us for the party girl, The Mage tower for the wizard, Salon for the Hair Stylist, "HeadTarget" for the gun dealer, the museum for the painter (I'm a doodler myself so he's getting a better place), Mini Golf for the golfer, The Bazzarr for the Dye trader, The Workshop also for the Goblin tinkerer, Pet Shop for the Animal girl. I can't remember any more so comment what I missed.
I found your first video for TerrariaCraft and its really awesome! Also seen Jetstreme too which is amazing! Loving these videos man!

I'm so into this as a series I genuinely dropped everything I was doing when I saw you uploaded another ep

Great job Chippy
Terraria beds have 2 hitboxes, the top and bottom, one sets spawn the other lets you sleep you only right clicked the head of the bed.
This mod give me that feeling from a lot of time ago when i just started playing Minecraft and Terraria!
Can't wait to play this when I get my PC re-built!
this is one of the best Minecraft mods I’ve seen
What I've noticed is that there seems to be no Immunity frames, that's why the thorns absolutely annihilate you
Chippy:"can't get sand rn no deserts"
Me when he's at the ocean:"Chippy, whatcha walking on?"
This is brilliant! I don’t play terraria anymore, but I play mine craft a lot. This is actually amazing! I love it, let’s see the developers continue working on this, this is one of the highest quality mods I’ve seen in a long time!
This feel like playing terraria for the first time again
Chippy has learned the #1 rule in Minecraft: never dig straight down
For a couple episodes I see as James goes past herbs not picking them up, and I'm reeeeeally anxious about it, as for me, in my terraria playthroughs, one of the first things in my list is to make a farm for herbs. I'm a potion maniac.
lmao, i legit only get herbs when i need potions after hardmode, never before then. i just break pots in hell for potions
Chippy playing Minecraft like he plays Terraria. Dude. Rule one. Never dig straight down
So, how does platforms work in this mod, and can you hammer them into stairs? Also I think the jungle really needs way more trees. Also also, some areas of the normal grassy biome should have clusters of trees to make a small forest.
He showed the hammer in one of the earlier espisodes
First hit on a block of wood made a half step. Second hit turned it into a slope. Third hit changed block back to full.
You might be able to but not sure as I may have missed the platforms.
They don’t have regular platforms I believe
I assume they would work similar to regular Minecraft scaffolding
@@ChippyGaming And it makes sense. They were a necessity in 2D Terraria, but this is 3D, so you just have to mine in stairs, like in Minecraft

Im a big terraria fan - with over 3000 hours on it - been playing since about 2017, and seeing a feelow terraria guy playing it with over 900k subs makes me happy. I would love for you to be the first terraria youtuber to hit 1million and I will help you with that :)

TerrariaCraft is basically just Terraria Java Edition
Make this a series please, the way uou play it is so humble and its really entertaining

So glad you're uploading terrariacraft so often, keep it up Bro 👍
Take my sub, you deserve it ❤️
Terraria craft is literally the best series you've done
digs straight down like a true terraria veteran
"those eye of cth- wait no not those, the little things that follow you around at night" -chippy, the terraria veteran
This guy has major stampycat vibes with his energy and I love it
everytime i see a new one of these terraria craft videos happines just flows through my body
"Oh I can hear something"
(Immediately Dies)
2:44 Well that was relatively safe
Just in case Mr. Big Chad Chippy doesn't know yet, swimming was only added in Minecraft on 1.13, which is why you can't swim at all here, but it does complement Terraria's lack of swimming abilities without accessories
Been watching Your videos for a while now and I really like where this series is going just subscribed hope you make it to 1m!
I don't normally enjoy watching modded minecraft let's plays, but this one I actually really enjoy! It's odd though, especially considering Chippy is a.. y'know... Terraria youtuber..?
Also the walking animation is custom
I'm still surprised that with so much digging chippy has to do he hasn't made a better pickaxe
There’s so much love put on this mode that the creators of terraria/Minecraft should buy this and make it official man! It would be a whole new era of terraria
At some point, we may even have Calamity in Minecraft. Imagine going down the abyss and running into an Eidolon Wyrm.
Please Chippy upgrade your tools lmao. Love the vids btw, keep it going!
Absolutely amazing, I wonder Minecraft and Terraria is looking over this mod right now through Chippy! I really hope this mod evolve into something really epic game with two amazing games combined!
When firing relatively instant projectiles, I tend to twitch shoot. I line up more when it’s something like projectiles in Minecraft, since they move slowly.

18:41 i don't think you noticed Chippy but the mod actually has a consume all button just like Terraria. you used the consume button out of habit and didn't realise it. As you said, it's all the small details that make this game great.
The way they handled rope so gosh darn well blows my mind
You don't need more RAM. This Mod isn't finished at all, so lags, bugs and crashes can happen. More RAM or a better CPU / GPU won't fix these issues.
If you have big troubles, just restart the game.
Congratulations on 890K! You truly deserve it. [: 🥳
these is gonna end up becoming a whole play through
More than a thousand likes and only three dislikes? Wow, Chippy, this series is really getting the attention it deserves!
These episodes really need to get longer. They are just so great! I barely see time pass!!
Making everything into silk rather than making a yoyostring probably was an oops haha
This really should be a series
hope chippy reads this (or one of the comments discussing this) but with minecraft (Especially modded), it's really not a good idea to allocate more then 8gb or more of ram. This is due to java's garbage collection algorithm, which starts to slow down when given overwhelming amounts of ram to check periodically. for a single mod like this, honestly, I would recommend anywhere from 2-4 GB of ram. 25 GB falls into that "overwhelming amounts" category by a landslide.
ah interesting, I’ll give this a try when I next play :)
Getting the boomstick makes things so much easier chippy it's hard to find in the jungle tho
I totally love this series, thank you for all this content Chippy!
*screams in joy happily
I wonder how Wall Of Flesh gonna look like in 3D perspective. If it does exist tho.
Just wana ask how on earth do we control corrupt/crimson/hallow spread when it comes to it. Clentaminator is probably going to be x8 less effective in a 3D world

AAAAA I love this series
Loving how fast you’re putting these out.
This entire series is an acid trip
I'm new around here and I'm still amazing that you can pump out content this fast and still manage to be entertaining
chippy if you keep playing this mod the creators of the mod will probably complete this mod including everything from actual terraria
So *this* is what happens to the future when a time traveller sneezes..
But seriously, I have never seen a mod be more faithful to any other game like this.
