A fake story was planted about in a national newspaper 5+ years. They mention my full name and my unique nickname, I've complained many many times, but Google still refuse to remove and I still receive bullying and harassment to this very day. It puts me off using other Google products.
It's also horrendously unfair that EU and other countries have this right but somehow Americans don't, under bogus Free Speech. Free Speech is just an excuse to harm people online and prevent tech companies from assuming any tort liability for online harms and harassment.

Not really. If someone was accused of a crime and found not guilty in a local court, then there may be newspaper articles regarding the event. Despite being innocent, it's still not something you'd like to be visible when a future employer is searching for your name in Google. As the video states, the URL would still be available for people searching for other elements of the event, but it would no longer be associated with a generic search of your full name. Human rights.
@@LiamLewyShepherd yeah, imagine the ratio of those cases and cases where scammers/criminals hide their tracks, good luck finding it by other info. Also we should concentrate on updating/articles, data/ than deleting!
