Kenny, thank you so much for working SO hard for us. I'm a senior and I sometimes I wish I had another lifetime just to play with all these fantastic music tools. AWESOME!
Bro! You've made me a reaper pro. Been learning for a year from your vids and I can honestly say, you're the guru on RUclips. Love this Kenny! Never leave. 🤣
I love reaper so much it’s just makes sense . This channel is also a godsend and reaper should be grateful to have Kenny. Even after a couple years I’m still learning something new in the clips
Because the samples were different notes to start with. I needed to shift them so that a C is a C and so on. I didn't show how I figured that out to keep the video moving along. But it's just math or trial and error.
So from what little experience I have, I find that there's perhaps another way to fix the sample not really adjusting itself properly to the project tempo problem. Before dragging in the sample, change the project tempo to whatever the sample's default tempo is. So if it says 116 bpm on the sample title, change it to exactly that in REAPER. Then, drag and drop the sample. Next, just change the project tempo back to what it was originally, and that should resolve the problem.
Wish I seen this this morning before work so I could work on something! Your videos always motivate me to hop on and also to keep it simple! Love the beat too!
Yes, essentially you link an LFO to that parameter. There is a video in the channel that explains this, search for Parameter Modulation in REAPER - LFO
Can please make a video .... Hoe to use fx step by stem .... I mean whole song mixing step by step... Actually I'm confused that which fx use first or later....
Hey Kenny, great video as usual. When you were writing in the hi-hat pattern, your MIDI notes had a tail/handle on them in the lower grid showing the velocities. Is there a global preference for this, as I've never seen them before when editing MIDI.
Great video! I don't know how he can figure out where are the 2 and the 4 with an almost invisible grid. :-)) It takes a lifetime to start using Reaper like this... I think it should be absolutely visible for beginners and afford the option to back off the grid for the pros...
Hi Kenny, this is great channel, very helpful. Could you tell me how can I set vocal, to hear this vocal on both sides of the headphones in the same time, instead of hearing this vocal on the centre. I would be very grateful 👍💯
Great video, Kenny! Question, how are you able to listen to samples on the internet (in your web browser) while still having Reaper open? When I launch Reaper, ASIO takes over as the active sound driver and does not allow for the use of multiple software programs at once. I would love to be able to follow along with your video instructions while having Reaper open on the same PC.
There is a browser plugin called Dark reader, it is available both for Chrome and Firefox. With it you can display every site in a dark theme. Usually works pretty well. Maybe check it out!
You just went "we are going to go down to our downloads folder" and all we heard was you clicking on your keyboard. You forgot to mention how you replace Sitala's sounds. I'm no stranger to Reaper, or navigating the folder structure of my PC. You slipped up on this one Kenney ;-)
that cause he taught that in the Sitala tutorial video, you just drag it or right click and browse :) I figured it out without him saying its pretty easy

May REAPER never die .

one of the few youtubers who ALWAYS gets the like smashed before the intro vamp is halfway done.
Fantastic walk-through. You make this so accessible and easy to understand. Thanks Kenny !!
Why bass pitch was set to -42 (13:15) and synth pitch to -55 (15:31)??? 🤔🤔

Lol you don't work "at work"?
The choke Hi hat thing was nice never seen that before will be useing that a lot. Just got back to Reaper from Cubase.
Does anyone know - In min 15:55 the pan FX is working "by itself". I've also seen it done for the EQ in another video. How do I get it to do the same?
Yes, essentially you link an LFO to that parameter.

Nice video, very well explained ! But how can you know the exact pitchstart value to insert for a proper tuning ?
I would also like to know this 🙂
Use your ears. what sounds good, sounds good.

Can please make a video .... Hoe to use fx step by stem .... I mean whole song mixing step by step... Actually I'm confused that which fx use first or later....
Many thanks for your super Explanation-Videos! I just don't get one thing🤔. Why do you start at bar 3 instead of bar 1? Why is that?
Great Tutorial Kenny. Cheers man
Amazing videos! It is helping a lot!
thanks my friends, very good the video 🙌👍👍👍✌️✌️
Great Vid!! Is it possible to get a keyboard plugin similar to the keyboard
shown in your vid? Please advise and thanks.
Also if you're using ReaSamplOmatic5000, RS5K-Manager works brilliantly to organize and view all your instances.
Can u make a video for all the plug-ins u have
Excellent!!!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge! your Video saved me a lot of time.
Awesome video, super easy to understand!
wow, game changing
What is the previous video?
Thank you so much bro

Excellent video. Thanks!!
The names of the samples don't show in my piano roll, they're just numbers. Can anyone help me out?
Thank you very much, Admiral Kirk. :D Thank you.
Sitala... And what about Serato?
Is there a way to have a 4 beat loop running and to record freely without having to copy&paste the loop a lot of times?
What Ui setting are you using?? Mine doesnt look like that at all
Hi Kenny!! How do you put the virtual keyboard on screen? I have a usb keyboard too
Brilliant!
Thanks!!!
Any free web sites where the songs are already broken down in loops, so I can trigger their loops with my edrum kit?
Hey Kenny, great video as usual. When you were writing in the hi-hat pattern, your MIDI notes had a tail/handle on them in the lower grid showing the velocities. Is there a global preference for this, as I've never seen them before when editing MIDI.
In the MIDI editor go to Options -> CC/velocity lane -> Show note length in velocity lane
Thanks. This was very useful
Great video!

Duplicate the vocal track and pan each left and right, adjusting each panned volume to your taste.
sick i never th0ught about copy and past hats it made it sound like live.
Very helpful thanks!
Great stuff, not knit picking but showing the live record would have been a great way to show off capturing the arrangment into a 2/3 minute song.
Please do a tutorial video for how to setup that pretty Synthesia keyboard in Reaper :')
That synth sample woke my cat up!. :-)

Thanks thanks thanks. Save me hours!
is the usb mini keyboard edited in or actually on your screen at the same time as Reaper?
Nice!
Amazing.
Thanks!
sadly sitara costs money now, welp.
Thanks for the vieo !
mükemmel tebrikler
Thanks 👏👏
thanks bro
When Reaper would make their own controller. I know it's kinda stupid this question but a dedicated midi controller would be great.
Checked out DrivenByMoss for Reaper. It's a utility that provides Reaper support for a lot of commercially available midi controllers.
Kenny's download folder is suspiciously empty!
I like to keep things tight.
So glad I didn’t just spend $800 on abelton
Theres gotta be packs instead of downloading 1 by 1
👍🏻👍🏻
Anyone here knows a loops website in dark theme? Can't stand the whites in most of them. Thanks.
There is a browser plugin called Dark reader, it is available both for Chrome and Firefox.
With it you can display every site in a dark theme. Usually works pretty well. Maybe check it out!
@@mudi2000a thanks man
@@CerealKiller thanks, Never tried that. I will check it out. However I found the dark reader to be performing well enough
Now boys, the only problem that remains at hand is reaper's stock plugins still in white. lol
Is there anything that Kenny doesn't know about making tunes in Reaper? 🤣
This could only have been better if it was voiced over by Christopher Walken!
Aww
