I love you and your energy John. And you have no idea how much I owe you for helping me gain so much knowledge and change my life. Power to you John. Much love from Scotland brother! :)
I literally typed in that I wanted to see someone homegrown garden
After a long day of getting my ass kicked at work, there's nothing better than getting on RUclips and seeing you uploaded a new video. Once I hear the intro all my troubles go away. You're the man Jon.
Just throwing it out there. Build a soil includes the recipes and prep for pretty much every product they provide. Their whole goal is to teach people how to make their own top quality inputs/soil ect. On their website they provide ratios for most if not all of their recipes so people can choose to make it themselves to save money
This is the way
They (Build a soil) also heavily encourage companion and cover crops with his cannabis and vegetables.
I’ve been gardening organically for almost 25 years, but just in the past couple I’ve been watching a ton of your videos and have learned a lot.
I love how you prefer to eat the leaves, you are an awesome human being. The energy you bring is so positive.
Awesome to see our bro Super Seth's sweet set-up. Thanks for visiting and broadcasting, JK👌... Looking forward to plenty more visits and future episodes👆
You tha man Josh
John… love the cannabis! ***I was your camera person at Baker Creek 😉****
Thanks for the talk on the vacuum top. I ordered one today! ✌🏽
This how I grow my medicine. Right along side Holy Basil, fenugreek, and calendula in the same bed.
Absolutely big difference between true living soil and just organic. Great episode.
Humans are more closely related to muahroomsthen to plants. humans can be seen as mycelium in living soil making it organic
Almost one million subs. Thanks for the knowledge
Cannabis deserves an "elevated status"
Yehovah & His Son Yeshua Messiah deserves an "Elevated Status."

Bless up! 😎💯🤙🏽
It's just another plant
I think it's a great idea to mulch with the same plant leaves so it gets the nutrients recycled back into the soil for that plant. I often bury the leaves back in the soil under the plant that dropped them. And use grass to mulch as well, I think he has the right idea :)
You're just training fungus too attack your plant. No bueno.
I actually do that I mix them with mulch, it has worked great for my lemon and apple tree. I also crop whatever else I prune, leaves, small branches, not mature fruit. The trees are better than ever. Even dried weeds become mulch. I leave some for the pollinizers though in the garden, they love their flowers.
I waited casually 24 years to have a herb plant again. After laws changed and I can finally have a plant, it is the most important thing to make it happy. The soil has everything from cool worms to Fungi. Baby-Basil and some strawberry as direct root-friends. The cannababy is still inside but once I put it outside and see bumblebees inspecting it, I can die happy. I will.
your channel got me doing knf in my backyard with everyones help to create no waste through compost and didnt even know it.
thank you - the anonymous "weed smoker"
Just gotta live the term "Living Soil". That term alone is an episode, documentary or even a book just waiting to be made !
Bravo John.
The Soil Life Summit episodes are epic... And the Living Soil universe appears to be as vast as the cosmos itself.....indeed, ENDLESS voyages of new microbial knowledge 🙏
@@BoogieBrew i think it's time jon upped his game and grew a mycology family underneath his tomatos have some toad caps next year that's my new years resolution.
not late.
I’ve watched many of your videos and I appreciate your work. I have to say it’s funny as hell every time you make a low key critique of the garden you’re standing in , before eating some of the guys fruit and giggling like you’ve just been born and it’s your first time tasting something yummy., then making a comment about how you’re late to catch the flight back home to make a smoothie or whatever because you’re starving . Priceless. You’re one of a kind dude👍
Awesome addition to your content John!! Great video. Can’t wait to see all the updates with Seth !
This was a great episode! Thanks John & Seth for sharing the knowledge and empowering the people!
John. Its not that Cannabis should be worshiped but what makes it different is that we smoke it. That's why it is so special and should be treated as so
Living soil for the win.
I knew it! Look how happy he looks. “Medicinal” LOL
Thank you for making content like this!!!❤
Very cool micro set up, i am growing my first plants ever, after moving away from an ocean home. Thanks for all your shows, i have watched them over the years, totally amazing content. Keep rocking!
Are the worms red wigglers in the beds? Can they be used in the bed as is?
@@leftofright they are red wigglers! They showed up on their own
Dude’s baked half of the time. Hahahah
They make portable usb air pumps for aquariums. It’s 15 bucks for two and they are chargeable so no need for power source. If you’re scared get four and use two at a time.
Hi John, from hot and humid south Florida! 🌴
Thanks John your my favorite good timing on this been reviewing your videos today for my growing this year
Working the amendments in thanks
Wish I could grow some Cannabis lol
Very nice episode 🌿 Thanks for sharing!
More visits, please. Great episode
wow his plants and set up are gorgeous.
Sleeping on craft blend as the mvp product in that whole lineup.
THC does not agree with me, so I stick to Hemp. I get pain relief and that is what I need. Great Video💞
When it’s said to not get water on the leaves, I don’t understand that. In nature it gets wet from rain all the time?
Another good living soil video! Love BuildASoil, Jeremy is a great teacher as well. Thanks guys
these plants are very different than the ones originally grown in nature. they have been breed to produce very large dense buds that can mold and rot if they are too wet. They can develop powdery mill dew if they stay wet for a long time, so most cannabis growers like to keep the plant leaves dry unless they are spraying with a foliar feed or a pest management spray
plants are resilient! but in nature there is also mold and disease sprinkled about, along with bad weather, droughts and less than ideal conditions. you try to mimic nature but disease pests and bad microbes are part of nature. You still do what you can to limit the parts of nature that can have a negative impact on your garden.

You gotta show the Build a Soil Craft Blend some more love - its an absolute powerhouse. Pure Protein Dry is the #1 than the Craft Blend in close 2nd, then the Boogie Brew Tea
@learn organic gardening Been watching your channel for years! Love your message and how you operate, it's so good to have people spreading this DIY attitude and amending your own soil!! This was a great video, I used to use wildflowers ontop of my soil on my indoor plants, have you ever experimented with that? How about growing mushrooms in the soil as well!, would love to have a podcast with you and discuss self sufficiency and organic gardening!
Super informative and knowledgeable good video good work I subbed!
Very inspiring. Love the worms wow!!
I love that the juice guy just finally convinced me to try growing weed. I always figured I'd be bad at it because I've seen how fancy people's setups are. I have been saving seeds in my freezer when I get ahold of some good weed so all I really gotta do is put em in some dirt as soon as I get a medical card so I can grow. I would love to be able to just eat it like any herb. When I get bad weed I make weed coconut cream ice cream and it's like mint chocolate chip but even better.
Ahh the appetite and appetizer in the same pot.
A series about Jadam natural farming from Korea would be nice. Its ultra low cost and super effective
The old Korean man that does his 12 lectures on the JADAM system is my absolute favorite!🤗
I suggest you forget all your modern day agricultural practices before watching him however. He teaches how a poor man in any area can use free local resources to grow healthy soil. And to learn what is seen above is evidence of what is not seen below.
To work alongside with and strengthen mother nature herself! 🤗
Cannabis is free where i live now. Practically rotting away. People still paying high prices at dispensaries. Thanks for showing people how easy it is to grow better pot than the dispos. If you new to organic gardening and want to add a huge boost try that Boogie brew thats on this channel. Wow is all I have to say.
For my cover crop this year I mixed mustard dill basil catnip lavender garlicchives thyme and rosemary each either repels bad bugs or attracts beneficials it's working out so far some aphid and gnat pressure I thinks from all the different vegetation
Cool thx good idea i like it
Tanks well APPRECILUV.
I been growin like this for yearrs john come see caliboy

Cutoff, be it leaves or popcorn buds always go in the next smoothie. Some varieties can be spicy, comparable to eruca sativa or brassica juncea.
is there any specific plants i should grow w my canna plants ? amazing details so far
What are those lights he's using in the propgation room? They look really useful with those bendy cords.
I love how you speak about eating cannabis. Most Americans don't know that Cannabis was brought back from Southeast asian during the Korean and Vietnam war and was originally grown to be eaten. They would add thai sticks into soups, hence why they were bundled into sticks.
I personally still enjoy smoking it and will continue to, but we should value it more as a nutritional crop. Hemp seed alone is a very underutilized protein source.
Sadly, it’s still a felony in some states. Every seeding plant is a gift. Everyone should enjoy.
My worms eat huge pieces of amazon boxes😂
I'll say it! Nice camera work. New style John? 👍
@Learn Organic Gardening at GrowingYourGreens do you have more specific information on the proper nm for bug lights and attracting fungus gnats?

Who did you inspired? Jorge Cervantes😊
so funny you looked like a ground hog inhaling my garden veggies lol
Cannabis leaves are great for juicing!
I am pretty sure this was done already a LONG time ago in a little place called Eden......it was a good size garden to be sure.
Exactly i Always plant mine in the garden like a dang ol tomato and i have never used any synthetic fertilizers.
We're can I find these pots can the be used outdoors
Awesome! Cool video! I enjoy growing a food, medicine and flower garden. Sungrown living soil definitely 👍🏼 check it out if you have time cheers!😎💯🤙🏽
Seth could really benefit from getting hooked up with Nik at Rooted Leaf. Search up some deep dive podcasts where he goes deep on what they offer & how amazing it actually is. How it's made & so on
Anybody advise! My new plants are 1 month old in veg & it was storming out so I brought them in the dark over night & had to stay over 12 hrs. Are they OK or will they be ruined?
should be fine! when in veg they can take light throughout any pat of the day so when it's inside, try to give it some supplemental light. Get it back out in the long day sun when you can
Autoflowers only? Seems like photos would get too big.
some of both! They do get large but I trim them and train them to grow away from each other
What’s the link to the Amazon compost bin?

What should I use in my heavy clay soil, I live in california.
Mix in some compost and aeration materials like pumice, rice hulls, perlite, and sand. You can get a soil test to know exactly what you need as well
Add workhorse compost teas made from worm castings and Sucanat. Actively Aerated Teas work wonders at loosening heavy soils...all that bio weaves all kinda new microbial matrixes, adding a TON of biological structural porosity to sticky clay soils.
you know those white bits of this foam stuff they put in bagged soil... i forget the name but on top of what these people said id add some of those too. to help get some air to the roots.
I hope Josh can get milli poo and boggie black back
Appreciate the information. Fellas
Where can you find 4cu ft perlite for $15?
ask a local nursery if they sell bulk perlite
That's smoke weed...but the cannabis plan is a beautiful looking thing. ✌️
I chopped and dropped my cover crop and the fungus gnats got to a level I couldn't stop them had to remove the mulch and chop and drop layer what did I do wrong I added mosquito bits neem cake insect frass nothing helped at all
chopping and dropping large leaves in layers can lead to anaerobic pockets in your soil, try chopping into smaller pieces and let it fully dry out inbetween waterings. Gnat larvae lives off the anaerobic soil bacteria
Use chicken feed and alfalfa pellets from tractor supply way cheaper for more were feeding calories not nutrients
Adding Boogie Brew to a municipal water supply line is not recommended. It may be illegal. Be sure to keep an inventory of bismuth subsalicylate.
Only eat the Cannibis leaves if you grow organic, synthetic may have high levels of toxicants during veg
I wish. It wouldn't be worth it to try that and take the chance of something happening a cop seeing it and getting locked up for years. That'd be just what I need.
Move where it is legal - CA
grow your "dreams". hehe. i know what you are talking about ;-)
seems like those plants should be bigger to me but guess all strains are different and also I think your grower buddy takes too much leaves off his plants.
Will cannibus leaves show up in a drug test?
Its not always good to grow certain plants next to each other, I don't think diversity just for the sake of diversity is a great idea - some plants/species get along well - others not so much and just adding whatever to your garden isnt prudent or wise IMO. They could attract pests and take resources away from other plants. Grow a diverse garden yes but be sure they play nice before you plant next door. To be clear I am not criticising Seth's garden- it looks amazing honestly- just saying , he knows what can coexist-Im sure he isnt just wingin it.
Ya like the sunflower plant, you want to plant that away from the garden, cause I hear it attracts bugs.
Yes is hell the biblia said it friend yes weed medical but people get high like beer
Anaerobic, using local microbes, is far more effective and much longer lasting.
sounds good...
but attracts bugs - so nope
If done correctly should only attract cool friendly bugs
A plant thats been show to shrink and kill malignant tumors doesn't deserve a special status? Whaaaaaaat?
When did Tom DeLonge get into gardening?
Id treat it the same if the law did 😢
bro you're doing it all wrong
combine those things you love with words on the titles
"KNF tek with cannabis"
"log permaculture hugelkultur cannabis organics"
and yes you get a free pass to call it weed and pot, too, because you lived it.
Don't give in
Are you trying to get raided by police
This dude can't even pronounce turgid.
look up "turgor"
Could you stop calling me "you guys"?
Andddd I’m unsubscribing
It'd be okay and some of those spots, but some of them spots don't look like there's enough room once it grows
"i don't like to get high from it but i like the medicinal properties",
that's some bill clinton type double talk right there
